Everything! The hosts were very accommodating. We embarked from the Spirit of Tasmania on New Year's Day and nothing was opened so we headed straight to the motel. Even though we were quite early, they got us a room so we could freshen up. We were there for 5 nights. Room was very comfy and clean. The motel is in a very nice area in Somerset - quiet, walking distance to shops, cafes, IGAs, and buses to Burnie and Wynyard, across from a park and river, and a short walk to the beach.

Fantastic location off the highway across from the river Cam. Extremely comfortable bed and great in room facilities.

Check in process and having to give a card to cover "possible" use of snacks available in the room! For some unknown reason they couldn't use the same card which paid for the room but accepted the same card! (Are you confused yet?) Suggest they scrap the "minibar" as there are shops around the corner! The bathroom door catches on the frame and is coming apart. These are minor things - we would stay there again!

The location was great for exploring the coast. We had 2 rooms booked one of which we received a free upgrade to a king size room, on them so we were closer to our travel buddies. which was a lovely gesture. The rooms were extremely clean and spacious. Beds were super comfy. The whole property was very well maintained. LIAM was just fantastic. Super friendly and he couldn’t do enough for us and he even supplied us with REAL MILK 😀 We had a great stay. Thank you LIAM

It is very quiet, the beds are very comfortable, and the curtains are excellent at blocking light. I slept so well that I slept in every morning! The town of Somerset and its facilities is only a 20-minute walk or 5-minute drive away. You only have to cross the road to walk beside the Cam River or along Somerset Beach.

From the time we arrived, to the time we left, we just felt so comfortable. Lovely big bed, everything so clean. The location was perfect and the staff were so helpful, gave us great advise with our travel plans.The motel just nearly had the whole package.

Possibly that although promoted, the restaurant was not available

It was a wonderful stay. The rooms are very clean and everything is in good condition. The owner and the stuff are very friendly and did ererything they could so we could have a great holiday. The beach is very close and next to the Lodge is a river. Best accommodation we had in Australia for that price range.

The fellow in reception was fantastic in advising what to see and do as well as pointing out best roads to take as we moved on. Very nice room, comfortable and modern. Great location close to Burnie.

Roadworks on Murchison Hey meant restaurant was closed, but no major problem.

I liked the location, so close to shops, etc. Room was lovely , fresh and clean with good lighting, very comfortable bed, nice decor, good sized tv, fully equipped kitchenette. Nice garden setting to sit and relax, friendly staff.

Fantastic Stay! Liam the manager was amazing, on check in he went through everything we could do for 2 days in the North West. He showed us places on a map, gave pamphlets and gave fantastic recommendations. The room was clean, comfortable bed, great amenities.

Clean and comfortable and had all we needed in the room. lovely reception from Marshi for check in and then Liam offered us some great information for our next day of exploring! They were lovely and friendly and informative. so we had a comfy sleep and rest and then a great day as we followed their advice! knowledge of area was good.
