What is there not to like about the Blazing Stump, the rooms are spotless, the beds are amazingly comfortable, and the staff are friendly and courteous. its accessible, the adjoining hotel means you are never far from a fantastic meal and drinks with a great atmosphere

There is nothing to fault at this motel, after a full day of traveling it was just awesome to be able to freshen up and have a lovely meal, then back for a restful sleep, noise is minimal considering you are next to the main road. No faults here

The size, cleanliness of the room and facilities were great. The lady on reception when we arrived at approx 9pm on Friday the 1/12/23 was lovely and helpful. Pools and spa great!

The bed was a little small for my partner and l, if you are a broad shouldered man and over 5'5" sharing makes for a difficult nights sleep. The room was a little stuffy on arrival due to warm weather and took quite a while to cool down. The air conditioning was working but probably needs upgrading as fan not powerful enough to cool room quickly. I would dare say anything over 25 degrees and/or a few warm ones in a row, the room would remain very hot and therefore on the uncomfortable side.

Everything. Great place to stay. Will certainly be back when next work trip to Wodonga comes around. The food in the Pub next door was simply brilliant. It was so good that the second night we invited other work colleague's to join us for dinner.

Nothing. I must add that the reception ladies were so helpful and informative. My colleague and I travel a lot as part of our roles and they were outstanding. Also the lovely lady in the Brecky room on Wednesday morning was great. So helpful. We even discussed the Grand Final. She is not a fan of the mighty Magpies but I certainly am. The banter was great fun.

Great location as we were having dinner next door at the pub (100m walk). Room recently renovated which was clean and fresh. I managed to leave clothes in the wardrobe and we received a call approx 90 minutes after we had left, fortunately family members were still in town and could pick them up.

The bed was quite firm which didn't stop us sleeping as we had had a big day of family birthday celebrations.

Liked how staff left a lamp on in my room upon arrival which was warm and welcoming. Very comfortable bed. Clean and spacious room and bathroom - good shower. Appreciated the shower cap as I'd left mine at home! I also had a special request and while having no expectations it could be met, staff emailed in advance of my arrival to confirm that they could accommodate my requirements which was greatly appreciated.

Internet was poor and unusable for most of my short stay but it was a Saturday night and full-house. Heating system seems aged and the maximum temperature allowed was not as warm as I would have liked and need.

spacious and comfortable rooms, 2 pools to choose from, parking was great, fenced in area for kids to run around. definitely will visit again next time we are down that way. options on menu was great.

We ordered room service and after 1hr of waiting I rang to check on food and they had lost our order. So glad we opted to get kids takeaway instead of getting room service too because it would have been a struggle to wait for them.

Clean, spacious room, comfortable bed. Immediately next door to a very good eatery. Staff friendly. Able to put eatery costs on accomodation invoice. Close to Bandiana Army Museum, Bonagilla Migrant Museum, and Hume Wier, all which were very interesting to visit.

Advertised views of mountains. Our room had no views at all. Requirement to give driver license details seemed excessive. Pub had same name as motel but different entry. Confused us and others. Needed better signage.

Our room was fantastic - lots of space and extremely clean and nicely outfitted. We loved the kitchenette and beautiful big bathroom with great water pressure! The kids loved being in the top pool with the spa. Our neighbours were really friendly and it had a great atmosphere. Next time would love to try the sauna and tennis court! A very friendly check-in and check-out too, so lovely staff.

Very impressed with the whole property. Well maintained outdoor areas and rooms. Beds and pillows were comfortable and the black out blinds were great. Great communication as we arrived after closing time. Breakfast was amazing. If we didn’t have to be on the road in a hurry would’ve stayed for the continental breakfast. Looked amazing. Cannot fault our stay. Thank you!

We love it. The rooms are spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable. We always look forward to our stay here, the pools are a great place for the kids to play after a long days drive back from Sydney. We forgot to reserve a table for dinner at the bistro next door but they delivered room service which was delicious.
