Perfect room. Perfect location. Stunning scenery. Lovely ovners always up for a chat. Everything you could need in a big room including very comfy beds, linens and large bathroom. Perfectly beautiful, very quiet serene location. Excellent value for money. Have always stayed in Beechworth but its Yackandandah Motel views for me everytime now. Stunning town too.

Nothing! Perfection.

We thought this place was great. On the outskirts of town, nice and quiet. Lots of little extras. They supplied a bucket and squeegee on the veranda so you could wash your windscreen. Hose as well. We noticed that there was a shed with a lock for bicycles. A grey face cloth especially for removing make up and a recycle tub in the kitchenette. Room was spacious, included a table and chairs. We didn’t see the owners, but communication was clear via text. Excellent

Everything was fabulous

Main room a good size which comfortably included table and chairs and a two seater lounge. The bathroom was also a good size. Well set up kitchen area We had a four day booking, extra towels were left in the bathroom and extra teabags. There is a barbecue and swimming pool which guests were using each night. The bluestone gravel area outside the units kept the inside clean. The view down the valley is a plus.

The European wasps were an inconvenience

Jackie and Peter are wonderful hosts and the motel is exceptionally clean. We love the pool and the bbq area. There’s great walks that you can start straight from the motel and the short stroll to the main strip of shops for meals. We stay here primarily for access to the amazing bike rides that the area provides and find it is the best spot for it. Jackie and Peter have added a bike storage area which is also a great addition. This was our third stay and we will be back.

I needed to make changes to my booking due to mechanical issues with my car. The staff were happy to move my booking back a day and even put me in the same room as last time. The comfort of knowing that I still had a room and knew exactly where to go and what to do was a great relief. Communication via text was fantastic and even though I didn't meet the cheerful hosts, I knew they were nearby if I had any questions or needed anything. The rooms were quiet as is the general area where this motel has been built, so road noise doesn't come into the rooms. Plenty of room to park my car, that had just had a new paint job, so I didn't have to worry about people parking too close and damaging it. Very comfy firm bed that I fell asleep in straight away. If you are looking for a quiet comfortable stay away from every one else, this is the place to go.

I really wanted to stay longer, but I had to go home. Oh well - until next time and the time after that and the time after that... I'll be back.

The property was immaculately kept. Spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated room with a great bed and quality linen. Plates, cutlery and a kitchen sink provided. Our room had a lovely rural outlook and was very quiet. It was a 10-15 minute walk to the Main Street of Yackandandah. The hosts were a warm, friendly couple who had turned on the heater for our arrival. Highly recommend this property.

Nothing. It was great.

The check in was very smooth and COVID safe. The view from our verandah out the front of our room was beautiful. We could see all the different birds and even the local kookaburra landed on the nearby light pole every afternoon. The road is nearby, but not noisy at night so did not bother us greatly. It is a lovely 10-15 min walk into town and there are also a few nearby walks. Unfortunately for the us the walk to the gorge was closed. I think because of a fallen tree - a result of recent storms.

Unfortunately for us, after having a lovely quiet night the first night, we had a rather noisy neighbour for the second night. This is not the motel's fault. Some people are just rude and only think of themselves. Having to listen to people speak for a few hours outside and next to our room, while we and others were trying to sleep, was a bit much.

The room was perfect in size and function and cleanliness and exactly what I wanted and the bed was comfortable and the sheets were beautifully crisp and cool quality Cotton.

Externally the motel is a fairly basic ordinary dated appearance with minimal basic landscaping and perhaps a bit far from the town. The room needs better lighting in the sitting area and above the bed and table.

Position of Motel close to main street. Views were spectacular. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Owners were away on a short break, but on arrival rang Mobile number provided at Reception and very helpful in directing us to our rooms whilst on phone to ensure we were happy with facilities. Very thoughtful. Dinner at Pub and brekky at local Cafe next morning. Great main street and interesting shops to look in.

Motel was perfect for our 1 night stay in Yackandandah. 3 couples travelling, so had 3 Rooms.

It was set in lovely peaceful surroundings, clean & roomy & had everything you could want

We were very tired on the first night after not getting much sleep on the Spirit of Tasmania & looking forward to a good nights sleep only to be woken up by noisy neighbours getting together for drinks at the table outside their rooms. It would have been better if they sat near the barbecue instead of out the front of the room as the noise carried into our room.
