Situated right in the middle of town close to all pubs and cafes, this was the cleanest accommodation (and most comfortable bed) we experienced on a 12 day road trip to Sydney and back to Melbourne. A few metres from the Star Hotel which served great pub grub and a fine selection of local beers (happy hour between 4 and 5). Make Yackandandah your first stop. Just 3 hours from Melbourne. Gateway to everywhere!

Small and extremely well managed motel. Centrally located, park the car and enjoy the town and nearby attractions by foot. Exceptionally clean. Superb attention to detail. Quiet. We travel a lot and stay in a variety of accommodation, this motel is close to the top of the tree in the motel segment.

If you can't park a car well, you may be challenged by tight turning circle, however you can leave your car in the street. If you can't read, let the owner know and she will tell you, only park front in to the units!

The rooms were clean, great size, heating, air-conditioning and all the complimentary toiletries you would receive in a large motel. Offered different pillows.... comfy lounge chairs and bed. Fantastic shower with rain head parking at door with small Foodworks across the road. Located In main street with everything in walking distance for dining. Hosts very friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

I couldn't fault the accommodation.

This property is exceptionally clean, their detailed thought about what their guests need to make their stay extra comfortable is outstanding. Various pillow types- covered, electric blanket - covered. sewing kit, shaving kit, make up remover - covered. Don’t like the reverse cycle on while sleeping? that’s covered too with another electric heater available. The location was perfect for us and they even personally take you to your room. Would definitely visit this property again.

There was nothing we didn’t like!

The location was right in the middle of the main street which was great as pubs, cafes and other services were easy to walk to. There was no breakfast provided but the pubs, cafes and bakeries were open in the morning and there was plenty of food and beverage choices. It is a beautiful historic town and well worth visiting and our hosts were very friendly and helpful and we can't wait to visit again.

We liked everything about the town and the motel, great hosts, location and facilities.

Great that Yackandandah Central is in the centre of town. Signage needs to be updated otherwise is not easy to find with the older Motor Inn signage still up. The rooms were in excellent condition and good to have environmentally designed bathrooms (shower fittings etc).

No complaints. Would be happy to stay there again.

A first - firm and soft pillows! Plenty of power points each side of the bed - so no need to use our extension lead and 4 port power board. A toaster (although I can understand the reasons for not providing them) Great shower access and a rain head! Central !

Tucked away just behind the shops of the Main Street this motel could not have been better located. We were delighted with the size and set up of the room. The room was nicely appointed and we felt very comfortable. The bathroom was excellent.

A microwave in the room would have made our stay perfect.

Location was central and in walking distance of all we wanted to see. The size and cleanliness of the room was impressive and to be able to park just outside the door of your room was convenient for unloading luggage.

I found nothing to complain about.

Location is right in the centre of town, and yet private and quiet. The room was modern and comfortable, and beautifully presented. We loved the 2 reading chairs.

The only thing that could have been better was staying longer.
