We arrived when the power was off which ended up being off until the next day. Due to a storm. The owner went out of his way to try to get some form of power back on. We were happy enough regardless. We had a beautiful view & a lovely room. The pool was lovely too.

Nothing.

The main bonus was the location. It was so wonderful to wake up with a view of the ocean across the road and the sun streaming in on the balcony. It was quite a cold morning but I didn't mind - I still sat out on the balcony just so that I can I had a cuppa out on the balcony!

We will ask for help next time about how to operate the remote for the split system. My husband and I aren't very good with modern technology so we weren't able to work it out. So the point is, ask for help when first needing it.

Great location on the main street, lake views, 5-10 min walk from shops. Rooms were large, balcony was nice. Great value for money relative to other nearby motels

There's a bit of noise being on the main road and the people in the room next to me were easy hear too

Clean, handy location opposite the water and within walking distance of shops.

The place was a bit dated. The doona was quite light given the cold weather, I didn’t want the aircon on during the night. The shower drain seemed blocked and the flow of hot/cold water was difficult to control.

I stayed at the motel just for one night to break up a long trip. The staff were lovely and upgraded my room. The bed was very comfortable. The location is amazing, with a view of the water. The room was clean and had everything I needed. I would definitely stay again.

The tiling in the bathroom was a little aged. Everything was clean though, so it wasn't a problem and wouldn't stop me from staying again.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable and the fact that the outside light was on until late and with there being no door on the bathroom, the room was light for a considerable part of the evening which made it difficult to fall asleep with so much light at night into the room. .

Excellent value for the price we paid. Bed was really comfortable. Reception very friendly & helpful. Check in & check out were quick & easy. Everything was clean. Generous supply of tea/coffee etc. sachets. The swimming pool looked inviting, but the weather was too cold during our stay for us to use it. We enjoyed walking to the Lakes Entrance shops, cafes, restaurants, beach etc. from this motel. We also appreciated the view of the parkland & water across from the hotel. Good sized fridge for a motel room.

Some of the decor looked a bit old & tired, but this didn't affect the functionality of anything in the room.

Motel policy is good, reasonable and fair for everyone. Communication with the staff is great
