Large room, good location, good value,excellent staff.

Noise, internal and external. Could hear toilets flushing, people chatting from adjoining rooms. Deliveries and refuse collection start very early in the vicinity. Despite the nice photos on the booking.com site, rooms seemed a bit dated and tired despite some apparent work The bathroom was a bit small.

The staff are very helpful and welcoming. I had booked 2 rooms and check in on different dates. We requested both rooms be close to each other. We understand that such request is not easy to entertain but the hotel not only arranged both rooms on the same floor but just next to one another. The room is spacious with simple kitchen facilities. Bed and pillow are comfortable. The hotel is situated very close to China Town so a great variety of restaurants are just downstairs. The hotel is within free tram zone and tram station is only within 5 minutes’ walk.

There were a number of bars around the hotel and our stay covered the Black Friday. A bit of noise was heard on that night which affected our sleep. However, it was quite quiet on the other dates.

The staff are very helpful and considerate. I had left behind something in the room after checking out. The hotel sent an email to inform us and arranged the item be returned to us. Thanks a lot to the hotel staff. Complimentary coffee and tea are available 24 hours in the lobby. Different kinds of restaurants are just around the hotel. Tram station within the free tram zone is just around the corner within a few minutes’ walk.

One of our stay was on the Black Friday and some noises were heard during that night which affected our sleep to some extent. However, it was quiet on the other dates.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. We were able to have free late check out and leave our bags at reception before our flight. Room was very spacious and clean with a small kitchenette and breakfast bench (a nice bonus). Plenty of tea and coffee were supplied in the room and downstairs near reception. Plus hot chocolate and a water filling station. Beds were very comfortable. Location was perfect close to parks, restaurants, shops, attractions, and transport. I will definitely come back to stay.

There were three of us, so after hanging 3 towels plus a hand towel on all the hooks and railings, there was no space to hang my clothes. It didn't worry me too much, as I really enjoyed my stay. Only a small suggestion, to add another hook or two in the bathroom.

Friendly and helpful staff, great central location. Clean, fresh and spacious with everything supplied for a comfortable stay. Loved the quality bedding, particularly enjoyed the pure wool blanket. The kitchenette was just right, with a selection of teas and coffee.

1. The air conditioning motor next to the bed is noisy and I had to sleep with ear plugs. 2. The safe did not work. 3. The bathroom has a nice deep bath and even has bath salts provided, but the plug provided didn't fit, which was disappointing because I was really looking forward to a bath. I didn't call staff up to sort it out at the time because it was night, and I was just trying to unwind and have some time to myself.

Located within walking distance to the CBD. The room was simple but clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Breakfast. Breakfast voucher to cafe next door. The food at the cafe was excellent but not what I would really call 'breakfast' food. Most foods very sweet and not the sort of food I would normally eat for breakfast. A nice bowl of muesli with fresh fruit and yoghurt would suit me fine and keep me going for a long time. I am not criticising the cafe as the food was excellent but simply not what I enjoy for breakfast. I had included the price of breakfast when booking not realising the type of breakfast available. Next time I would just buy some of my preferred breakfast items and eat in my room. There is a fridge, microwave and there are bowls and utensils in the room.

Minutes from Parliament train station and Princess Theatre (we had tickets). In the heart of Chinatown with heaps of restaurants very close by. Easy getting around the CBD via the free tram system. Although it's only about a 25 min walk from the hotel to NGV (we had tickets), we walked about 10 mins to corner of Swanston St and jumped on a tram (they came every few minutes). We loved that there was free coffee, tea and even marshmallows available in the main reception area. We were even able to access our room at 11.30am on arrival when we called in to drop off our luggage. The receptionists were all very friendly and obliging.

Unfortunately being in the middle of the city means noise. We were woken very early (4am) with garbage trucks going down Little Bourke St and it seemed to go on for the remainder of the night. I'm a fairly light sleeper so might not be so bad for others.

The staff, especially Samantha, she was very friendly, approachable, provided excellent customer service. She provided superb solutions to every requests and will let you know whether it can be fulfilled or not. Sam has excellent knowledge of what every traveller needs like providing maps, meal suggestions, places to go around and etc. Love the location which is just a stones throw away from Chinatown, cafe’s and restaurants. It’s near Woolies as well if you needed to go to the grocery. Will definitely stay again on our next visit to Melbourne.

Just the very soft pillow, but can be rectified.

Pretty much everything was great! I like that it’s small and quaint and situated a very funky part of little Bourke St close to theatres and restaurants. The staff were super nice and helpful which really makes such a difference when you’re a bit nervous travelling into the city. The room was comfortable with a bite down into little Bourke and even has an equipped kitchenette (we didn’t need it this time). I loved that they could offer parking and that it was open air parking directly next door - didn’t need to lug our bags for a distance or navigate a multi-storey car park. Free coffee machine in the foyer a lovely addition.

Can’t think of anything! My son said they could have gone with double ply toilet paper. 😊

We stayed in the deluxe queen room. It was an excellent little room with all the usual amenities. The highlight for us was the king sized bed, comfortable pillows and the shower head had excellent water pressure and consistent heat!

The bathroom is a lot smaller than expected. It’s serviceable but if you’re 6 foot, you may fight the shower to be a tight fit. The TV is wall mounted with free-to-air available as well as streaming services. It’s not adjustable however so it can make viewing from the bed not super comfortable due to it being off set to the right of the bed.
