Great location, staff were friendly, room was very spacious & clean. Bathroom had beautiful body washes & hair care I left a phone in my room as I overslept & left in a hurry. I didn't notice for abt 24 hrs( there was no sim it just had many family photos that I was intending on sharing)i rang the hotel and they had it in lost property. We organised for it to be sent home to Perth. It was an effortless secure way to retrieve it.

I informed the hotel I wouldn't be checking in till abt 10.pm my flight was delayed so it was abt 11 30pm. The bell on the door didn't seem to work. I rang the hotel several times but calls were never answered. I don't usually panic, but as I was alone, in a darkened street, just off a 4hr flight, I was getting anxious! Luckily another person used a swipe card to open and enter the hotel When I got to reception, a gentleman was dealing with another guest. Once I was able to check in , I raised my concern abt the bell and unanswered calls To which he said ' oh was that you' and smiled. Not the best first impression!

The location was perfect , easy walking distance to a lot of the best Melbourne has to offer. Would stay again . Our room was extremely comfortable and spacious. Felt very comfortable and relaxed. All the staff that I came into contact with were super helpful and lovely .

The only couple of things I would fault would be lack of information in the actual room about what the Mantra had to offer , eg. Where the gym was and info on in house dining and breakfast menus and pricing. The only other fault was house keeping missing our room two mornings in a row ( we needed fresh towels). But when I contacted front desk they immediately rectified this

Staff enormously helpful, especially Justin who helped take my car from the carpark. He was a lovely young man who was more than helpful. The location was central. The room was spacious and the beds comfortable. Room well appointed and very clean.

minor point but the carpark on site is very small and without the help of Justin I may not have been able to get my average size car out. This would not apply to your stay if you didn't have a car and I believe there is another off site carpark that is not so compact.

Room temperature control inadequate making it difficult to warm the large room space. We found it odd that there was no dining table, especially given that there was a kitchenette and ample space for one. Inadequate exhaust in bathroom led to constant mirror fogging following showers. Down Light above mirror made it impossible to see properly to do make-up & should be on a separate switch to turn off.

The rooms are a good size and well-appointed. Having the extra living area is great to relax in. Bathrooms have recently been upgraded with all tapware swapped to black. The bathroom was very clean, good shower, good sized bath. Location wise, very central. Within 20 minutes walk to everything. Close to tram line, but not close enough hear any noise.

We requested a room on a higher floor following the reviews that said lower floors could hear street noise. Although this was allocated and confirmed by Mantra on arrival they had said it was not available and they didn't allocate rooms that way. This was disappointing and after speaking with the staff (who were very helpful) they reallocated us. However the feedback is, they should not make the commitment if they can't uphold them.

The location was excellent, walking distance to everywhere otherwise public transport was a few minutes away. We chose the one bedroom deluxe, it was very spacious, bigger than most apartments in the city. It was extremely comfortable, it had everything we needed for our 2 night staycation celebrating our anniversary. The poached eggs for breakfast were excellent.

We chose to include the buffet breakfast. I would have liked to have seen such more healthy hot food such as cooked spinach, tomatoes and mushrooms.

Very handy location. Trams close and get you around free within the Melbourne circle. From Southern Cross Stn get on tram in Bourke St (opposite) and get off next stop and couple minutes walk to Little Bourke St. Our room was a large one and bed, pillows etc were really good. Staff were great that we spoke too. Our original booking was fine for the 3 nights.

Due to flights being cancelled, had to re book further 2 nights but only one available. Was smaller than before and bedding definitely needed updating. Small duvet as only covered half the bed and pillows needed replacing. After booking another accom on line, we checked on line booking for Mantra on little bourke and there were rooms available. Booked into another hotel in Bourke street for final night, tram stops right outside, happy with this one.

The construction site next door was audible through my window early each morning: concrete saws, jackhammers, general beeping and rubble movement. Housekeeping was hit and miss. I was surprised it wasn’t automatic on weekends, and being the last room in a corner our door sign was missed. The day before checkout the room was serviced but hand towels and face cloths were not replaced. There was visible mould in the shower.

Terrific location on Little Bourke. Close to everything - the Mall, cafes, restaurants, transportation. A well presented apartment right in the heart of town. The room was ready as soon as we got there and we were happily granted a late checkout with our Accor membership. They looked after our bags for us for a few hours and provided a great base to explore Melbourne CBD

Fresh, modern rooms including the bathroom, comfortable beds and friendly, helpful staff. If you pre book breakfast the night before it’s $25 instead of $30.

The mini bar was not stocked in the room it needed to be ordered online. That wasn’t a problem until I only wanted a bottle of water and there was a $10 minimum. So I didn’t get water. Bathroom run out of lotion and some amenities would have been nice like shower cap / ear buds.
