We came for the bathroom with a view and it did not disappoint. The bath itself was deep and comfortable. All in all, it made any other criticisms we had of the hotel inconsequential.

If I had to find a complaint it would have to be the $6 delivery fee for room service. More just amusing though, really. Ought it not just be incorporated into the price of the food? Also the food was very average... This is of no matter really when you're in the middle of the city / have free delivery on ubereats.

I loved this hotel! Really nice decor, looked like the pictures on line. The staff were lovely, especially Sam who checked me in. He was so helpful and they were able to accommodate me earlier. My favorite thing about the hotel is they do not use plastic water bottles, instead you can refill glass bottles at the reception of still or sparkling water and take them to your room. The view from the room was great, and I thought the overall layout and decor was very nice. I didn't use the facilities but they looked very nice. Lights - very simple, one button would turn everything off. The dream. TV - had Chromecast so you could watch Netflix etc..via your phone. USB ports - available on both sides of the bed Clear Bathroom Wall - yes, but has a curtain which will close over it for privacy. Mini Fridge - yes but no snacks, but milk for the coffee. Shampoo & Conditioner - both available, they are ok. But would recommend bringing your own especially for special hair needs. Toiletries - none for environmental reasons so bring your own. Hairdryer - available , better than most, at least had the nozzle. But a typical hotel hair dryer. Iron - available but didn't work.

Very small - but the lifts could be hit and miss of whether they would take you to your floor or not. Myself and a few guests were struggling with this.

The hotel is located in a very good location. Very near shopping malls like Emporium and Melbourne Central. Staff were nice too.

The two disturbing things in our stay were the quality of cleaning and the aircon. Every after cleaning, there were still hair strands on the floor and the bath area wasn't cleaned as well. Our first few nights, the sticky stain on the floor was there. They just cleaned it well after complaining. They also don't vacuum everyday according to reception. You have to request the full cleaning service for them to do vacuum. The aircon is still quite hot. You also have to request to make it colder in the reception EVERY TIME. We requested this almost every night.

The location was awesome, in the heart of the CBD, so close to bars, cafes, restaurants, didn’t need to Uber once for the whole weekend. The room and the whole hotel was stunning, amazing views. Chromecast worked perfectly and the room had great amenities and toiletries. Blacksmith restaurant and bar is really nice. Staff were lovely as well. Really enjoyed our stay for our anniversary.

The hotel parking is so overpriced, we parked somewhere else nearby, lots of parking options around. Mentioned it was our anniversary before we arrived so would’ve been nice to have a little something for our anniversary

The staff were professional, friendly, and lovely to deal with. The room was fantastic and clean and tidy. The view from my room was awesome, as I had the room on the 23rd floor. The breakfast was very nice, heaps of options and the staff were very helpful always.

The only thing I suggested is having a better pick up and drop off area on the side of the street, where drivers had a designated parking spot to wait for the customer to come out of the hotel and come to them. My driver told me they only have 1 minute to wait for you and would get fined if they took longer. So I feel you need a designated parking spot for them to use to pick up the hotel guests. Also, my dinner tray was never collected , that I left outside my room. Apart from that I really liked the hotel and liked the staff.

Facility, amenities, staff, room

Our stay at Voco was fantastic. We stayed 4 nights to celebrate our anniversary, and couldn't have been happier. The bed was super comfy, the staff attentive and helpful, and the location was central to everything in the CBD. We had the buffet breakfast in the hotel each day, and the coffee, food, selection and service were of high quality. The chef and restaurant staff were helpful and friendly We will definitely be returning :)

Loved the room, it was very clean and had a luxurious feel without being over the top. We chose a room with a separate bath, which had a lovely view out of floor the ceiling windows. The bath salts, bath bomb, and other bathroom products were absolutely divine. Bed was comfy with nice linens. Room service was prompt and very reasonably priced, as well as tasty. It made for a lovely overnight getaway from the kids for us.

The elevator system is great when it works. Other times, you can get stuck going up and down to levels you don't want to be on. Have to get out and request it again as you can't select a level option once inside the elevator. We didn't use the pool as we didn't like the idea of walking through the bar and restaurant in our swimwear to get to it. Either the pool, or restaurant was an after thought, given there's no other way to get to the pool.

The room it self was very clean and modern. Great bed and lovely bathroom. Extremely great location in the city. Walking distance to main attractions. Amazing breakfast buffet and beautiful swimming pool with bar.

Size of the room was quite small for the amount we paid. The room service was lovely but a little late in the day but can’t complain. The $100 deposit each night we stayed was a bit steep and the elevators sometimes didn’t agree but felt very safe and was beautiful.

the staff were so friendly and helpful, second time I've stayed and same experience both times. The valet service was excellent and the staff accommodated my request for extra time in the car park due to a show we had booked, which saved me having to move the car to another car park. I was so grateful for this, it saved me a lot of effort. The rooms are comfortable, clean and inviting. Breakfast was a wonderful selection of foods.

this isn't anything the hotel can control, but I found it quite noisy at night due to a nightclub thumping away until 2 or 3 am. Noise within the hotel was very quiet though.
