I liked how Treasury on Collins Apartment Hotel had its own gym, and a large and excellent selection in the buffet breakfast. It also had one very prominent feature, and that was that it had a pool table! The chocolate pastries and other different foods and how there was also a large selection of food. The pastries were, as I presume, freshly made. The staff were really friendly, and you could ask them anything. Also you could enjoy your breakfast with some hot chocolate, coffee, tea or many more with the Nespresso coffee machines.

Personally, I think everything was the best, and to my eye, there wasn't anything bad.

We liked everything about the accommodation. The apartment was well appointed with everything we needed for a week-long trip. Servicing of room was every 3 days - however if we wanted, we could have daily at no extra charge. Towels soaps etc could be requested throughout if the supplies where not enough (which they never where). The mezzanine floor was a great space - we had breakfast every day here (which is unlike us). Snacks are available all day and there is a wine session 4 to 6. All included. We didn't use the wine service but it looked good. Staff really friendly and efficient. We have stayed in Melbourne maybe 10 times this is our new favourite!

Nothing really....

The location is excellent. Close walk from Southern Cross train station as well as close to the theatre district, shopping and restaurants. As soon as we walked in we were taken by the ambiance. The service was excellent, the complimentary extras like the mini bar and the "wine down" hour and we just loved our room too.

There is nothing I didn't like! But if had to say something it would be that stepping out of the shower bath would not be easy for everyone.

The room layout was great and very cleverly set up to watch tv from living area as well as sleeping area. The toiletries were lovely and the complimentary drinks from 4-6pm were a nice touch. The staff were very helpful and friendly - special shout out to Harry who was fantastic at customer service.

The room was dark and felt very oppressive as a result, even though three furnishings were nice. It wasn’t pleasant to spend time there. The breakfast area was also dark and felt disjointed the way the seating was arranged along the corridor. The breakfast selection was quite good but not amazing.

Excellent location in the Central Business District of Melbourne. I was able to walk to every place of interest to me, which included Rod Laver Arena, Flinders Street Station, National Gallery of Victoria, Southgate, Queen Victoria Market, and a huge selection of eateries. The property was also a heritage building but enhanced unobtrusively with modern amenities - just what I like. The air conditioning was excellent (very important to me), breakfast was sumptuous, and this “apartment hotel” also featured a kitchenette and washer-cum-dryer in my room. Mine had only a microwave, which was fine with me. But there are other rooms which feature a full stove and dishwasher; so, ask. The service was very good and when I told them to just make my bed everyday, they went above and beyond by cleaning the dishes, etc. I opted for a top floor apartment with a balcony, but found that the balcony did not offer much of a view (as the hotel advised). Finally, my room was very clean and very quiet.

There were only a couple of minor drawbacks: 1. The shower is part of an old fashioned bathtub, which had the tub input faucet in the center of the tub. So, you had to watch your legs while showering. But it was not super inconvenient and I got used to it. The tub was also deep so you had to be careful getting out of it. 2. The dryer didn’t seem to be particularly efficient for I had to redo the drying a couple of times. But it was not particularly inconvenient because I did my laundry while watching TV.

Everything about our stay was exceptional. From the room (we had a suite with a living room and enjoyed the extra space), perfect location to walk anywhere throughout the city, the breakfast included in the room rate was just the perfect amount of food for breakfast, the free snacks, wine down in the afternoon. The bank bar onsite is great with nice food (although not open on weekends) All inclusions made the stay very enjoyable and great value. We will definitely re-book next time we are in Melbourne.

A beautiful heritage hotel, with a gorgeous feel about it. I loved the experience. The location was central and easy to walk or tram around. But what made my experience was the exceptional staff who were friendly, relaxed and happy to help. Nothing was a problem. Will certainly be recommending and will stay again when next visiting Melbourne.

The bathrooms in the suites are probably due for an update but the suite itself was lovely and spacious, with everything you need.

The staff were all very helpful & friendly. I loved the Wine down time (with a glass of wine) sitting in the mezzanine, and the thoughtful addition of being able to grab snacks whenever we felt like it during our stay. The room was very large & lots of little things like bath salts, popcorn for free Netflix time. And fun things like solving the Rubik's cube in the room! The bed was comfy and loved being able to ask for different pillows and a mattress topper. And having a Nespresso machine in the room

The parking is a bit of a walk away but a great price. And it was a bit tricky getting a spot to stop the car to drop our bags on Queen st, as we were driving ourselves.

Space, high ceilings, comfortable bed, sofas / chair/ coffee table well appointed, writing table sufficiently large, good lighting, able to open the balcony door and get fresh air (as opposed to constant air conditioning), ample kitchen facilities, excellent coffee and tea set up, stylish set-up overall, washer-dryer was excellent, room was quiet. Breakfast was very good - love the chia pudding and yoghurt. Loved the complimentary drink to welcome in the evening.

Would prefer shower only (not shower in bath) as fearful of slipping when getting out of bath; shower stream a little on the weak side, toilet cistern continued to run; would have liked the carpet and bathroom vacuumed/mopped at least once during our stay. Do not like to have to take garbage to the end of the corridor but can see its practical value if cooking alot. Would have preferred good quality artisinal bread rather than sliced bread. Pastries average. Packaged muffins average. We had to fix the positioning of the microwave as it had come off the support legs causing the door to scratch against the wooden compartment it was contained in.

Everything. Best aparthotel / suite based hotel in Melbourne on a number of fronts. It’s worth it, considering all data points.

Sadly, the price difference between booking and the hotel website meant I paid a whopping 400 USD more for my stay than if I booked with the property. Thankfully, booking price matched my stay and credited me the difference. Something to check / keep in mind when booking.
