Once we got over the shock of the side door we were pleasantly surprised. A very comfortable bed and the pillows were just right. Great bathroom with modern design. We didn't use the lovely spa bath. It was enormous. Lots of little surprises, tea coffee, treats, Mars Bars and most and a microwave to cook breakfast. A beautiful large new TV with complimentary Netflix but it took an hour to get things set up. There is a short walk to the town and had lot's to choose for dinner. Unfortunately the lovely beach turned windy and cold on day two. There was a sculpture park and really enjoyed what was displayed.

The cottage was too overcrowded with knick knacks. Trying to have breakfast and hard to boil water for coffee. It could really be culled a bit so we could put our own things on it. I understand you're decorating, but cut back a little more, or a lot more. Not much room to even put our suitcases anywhere. Most of the clothes ended on the floor. I loved the beach theme just too much of it. There were body towels, yoga mats, beach towels, a hat and much much more. Just way too overcrowded but just across the road is the beach.

Driftwood was very welcoming and comfortable from the time we arrived, oh and smelled amazing. Extremely clean and well presented, it's beautifully decorated and has everything you need. A very relaxing stay which is what I needed. The spa was wondering as was the rain shower. Bed was extremely comfortable, slept like a baby. Great location, just across the road from the beach and just a short walk to the shops and cafes. Donna is very accommodating and a delight to deal with, will definitely be returning for another relaxing and peaceful stay. Having to leave

Spa, use of space, comfy bed, coffee machine and milk frother, extra little touches here and there that made the place feel like home.

The heater was not as warm as it could have been. That would be the only thing I could say.

Really cosy little place. Well located

Bed could be a little better. Dog barking quite a lot while the residents in the rest of the house were out was a little annoying. We are dog people but… suggest a bark collar during the day.

Great facilities (especially the shower and the spa OMG amazing), all the little touches (Nespresso machine, all of the amazing amenities) and just the room in general, very cozy and beautiful! Great communication with a host who was just lovely in every way! Thank you so much Donna. Will be back for sure ❤️❤️

Everything you needed like beach towels and picnic basket if you did a trip to the beach, cute decor everywhere, coffee machine and toiletries extras and bath robes.

Didn't dislike anything, everything was perfect.

can not fault at all it was absolutely stunning what a perfect little hideaway the host thought about everything that is needed from kitchen nibbles to bathroom essentials a two minute walk to the beach and café restaurant.

We loved our stay, Donna had thought of all the personal touches that you never get in the big hotels. So relaxing, peaceful and perfect location. Thanks for a wonderful stay, just perfect.

Everything - from the moment we booked to the day we left- hassle free. Opposite the beach and walking distance to shops, suggestions of local attractions and eatery, the choice of colour scheme, theme, personal touches, Sheridan sheets, robes and towels made the room such a tranquil place to escape from the hustle and bustle of the outside world. The board games, magazines and books are enough to keep us occupied. The little cosy 'court yard' infront of the room is the best place to enjoy the delicious coffee made from the coffee pod machine and the delicious biscuits and chocolate left for us.
