This hotel represents excellent value for money considering the location and the facilities available. It's definitely not particularly fancy, but it's clean, comfortable, quiet, and in an excellent location in the city with easy access to Southern Cross Station and various tram routes. We needed to stay in town for a convention for a week and wanted somewhere that would be comfortable and quiet but where we didn't have to pay a fortune because we would only be sleeping in the room and not spending any time there. Would definitely stay again when looking for something on the less expensive end in the CBD.

The bottom sheet on the bed was not fitted and was probably a bit small for the bed so kept coming untucked, meaning I'd wake up sleeping on just the mattress sometimes. Shower was excellent pressure but did got a little bit hot and cold if showering at peak times (8am ish).

Very convenient location for South Cross station and it has friendly staff. It is a good for value place to stay for a night or 2 if you don’t need to spend too much time in the room.

Cleaning needs to be made at all spots in a room and not just the main area Building a bit worn down so it needs some maintenance and renovation.

Great location and well priced for the the CBD

We were offered an upgrade upon check in, but don't believe the room provided was any different from the original booking. Also, TV was old and all controls on the remote were locked - audio was behaving strangely and we weren't able to go into settings to amend. Only minor issues, and would definitely book again if we wanted something affordable in the CBD

The hotel's excellent location near the skybus and tram station makes it incredibly convenient for travelers. Additionally, some of the staff members are friendly and accommodating to guests who have traveled from afar, and they'll be very helpful to you.

Initially, I felt a bit uneasy about the hotel due to a few service issues I encountered from one of the staff members. My first day in Melbourne was a bit disappointing, but thanks to Jess and Vel, those concerns were addressed, and they went out of their way to ensure I had a comfortable stay. Their kindness, flexibility, and sincerity in dealing with customers were truly appreciated. I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to both of them for making my first visit to Melbourne such a wonderful experience.

The location of the hotel near Southern Star train station and Sky Bus (walking distance) was very convenient. Checking in was quick and the staff offered 5% discount for cash payment. The room was clean and beds comfortable. Free internet was reasonably fast (possible streaming).

Air conditioning was a bit noisy and was not following well the temperature target setting. The cold water tap on opening was creating a loud banging noise - possible water hammer in the pluming.

Location perfect for overnight stop near Southern Cross Station before catching airport bus in the morning. Clean. Room quality, condition, size and service is commensurate with budget price. I will use it again.

Nothing. If you stay at a budget hotel you have no right to complain about minor problems.

The hotel is close to Southern Cross Station, meaning it’s super convenient if you come from out of town or the airport ( via Sky bus). the place is also next to Rose lane with lots of nice food shops. The room may be small (I think its Queen bed- standard) but it’s enough as long as it’s clean, and it is! The staff are all nice and friendly.

I have stayed here for a couple of times. The toilet is always hard to flush. Like, it need a couple of flushes to clean out everything especially the toilet paper. I don’t think it’s an easy fix cause I think it’s the poor design of the toilet, not water pressure or anything. But would be worth it if this only issue gets fixed.

Friendly staff and an easily accessible location (from Southern Cross station which is the terminating stop for the Skybus shuttle from the airport).

Property is in a good location, very close to transport or if you are like me and don't mind a walk it is walking distance to everything as well. The room was basic but perfect for our needs; we don't spend too much time in the room, we'd rather be out exploring.

No plug for the bathtub! Probably could have asked reception who were very helpful but didn't.

We loved everything about this hotel. The staff were so nice and friendly. The rooms were spotless. Good size rooms. Great location and close to everything.

The only 2 things i didn't like was a little lack of communication between staff. We were called three times by three different staff members to pay for our room for our second night stay. (We already paid on the second morning). None of the staff updated their system. Also there was no milk after a 5 hour journey. Other than the two little things, it was outstanding
