This hotel was super clean, one of the cleanest we have stayed in over the world. Every staff member was so friendly and helpful and provided excellent service. Breakfast was great, a lovely selection of continental and you could pay more for cooked. Rooms had everything you needed, and the beds were very comfortable. The location was amazing, just a 3 min short walk to the station and free trams The hotel was so quiet, no road noise, no construction noise. We have already booked for September when we're back

Nothing, it was great. Just a note ...... The rooms are on the small side so if you want space book a bigger room.

This hotel was great. My room was very clean and had everything that I needed. It was in a great location from the bus station, and I simply walked around the corner to catch the tram. The breakfast was terrific and they went out of their way to make sure that I had what I needed. The staff were very helpful and I found that the entire team went out of their way to make sure that I had what I needed. They even stored my luggage for me on my last day. It was terrific being about to do laundry there too. I found that the hotel was certainly worth the price paid and I would stay there again.

When I first walked in the door I thought, oh my, I hope this place is ok. I think it is undergoing some renovations. I really cannot complain . I was very happy here.

A very good compromise between reasonable price and desired location. Wasn’t too far to walk to the Melbourne Conference Centre (and this could have been reduced, if not in travel time) by using the tram (free as far as the river). Close enough to Southern Cross that could take heavy bag to the Skybus to the airport. Close to free tram going east to the main shopping district. Some 7/11 shops in close proximity. A reasonable breakfast available at a suitable price- sometimes used. Self service laundrette ideal.

Not a major problem for me, but be aware that access is up a flight of steps that would be a barrier to some people (there is a sign offering help to move baggage, but persons would need to themselves climb). My room window was only to a central shaft so no outlook and if unwound from being tightly shut then I found noise from multitude of air conditioning outlet fans too noisy- so I just kept curtains drawn and firmly closed, using air conditioning as required so no real problem

Conveniently located and within walking distance of restaurants, bars and shops. The property also communicated that there would be steps at the entry and construction ongoing during our stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We appreciated getting a deal on overnight parking nearby and having our luggage stored after checkout for a few hours.

There's not much that we didn't like to be honest. It had all the basic amenities we needed, we stayed for 2 nights and were only in the room to sleep. My partner didn't find the bed comfy and didn't sleep very well. I was so tired I slept regardless.

Great location, just 1 block away from Southern Cross Station. Along with the location it is a great price, one of the cheapest non-backpacker hotels with availability even on short notice. Has good facilities - café, library, public toilet, gym, elevator wasn't a pain to deal with. Good Wi-Fi connection and TV but had problems with connecting to TV. Good options for checkin and checkout Comfortable beds

- TV did not connect to Netflix or YouTube as it said Internet couldn't connect. - They kept testing the speakers in the room over and over while my partner was on the phone to her employees - Toilet paper holder was broken and TP was so thin

Ideally I booked this hotel for the location, it's a five minute walk from Spencer Street Train Station where the Skybus Airport Shuttle drops you off. So lugging some luggage from there wasn't a hassle, there is a small flight of stairs upon hotel arrival that you do have to navigate though.. Once checksd in it's easy to catch a tram down Bourke St if you want the mall or catch other surrounding services. Same with connecting to the trains from Spencer Street Station. Or you can go by foot like I did. Southbank is only a ten minute walk, NGV Art Gallery a little more, Sea Life Aquarium right around the corner. A few good places for breakfast/lunch in the vicinity too.

I did book a single room which was tiny (obviously) bar that the Hotel was fine. Standard hotel fittings, bed was good, decent sized Hisence TV which was nice. I was on Level 6 and at times there was people talking a little loud around 10pm, I think it was a staff area from what I gathered because it happened on both nights I stayed.

Has good facilities - café, library, public toilet, gym, elevator wasn't a pain to deal with. Good Wi-Fi connection and TV but had problems with connecting to TV. Staff were very accommodating - They helped me with extending my stay (with discount), Quick check-in/check-out with ability for late/early options, answered questions in a timely and professional manner. I was worried as I seen reviews talking about uncomfortable beds but that was far from the truth. They even had extra bedspace in my room.

Couldn't connect Netflix to TV. There was a lot of noise when trying to sleep, it would go off for about 5 mins then stop for a while so I was able to sleep, probably the location. They have the wrong globes in their bathroom lights....

-The location is great being right next to Southern Cross Station and Festival Hall for music. -Comfortable bed in a room that fits most of the stuff you would need. -Good price. -Got a free room upgrade. -Easy check-in and checkout options with ability to bag drop or leave late. -Quiet. -Staff are friendly and helpful.

- The room I stayed in this time seemed unclean. There were markings all over the walls and hand prints. Seems to have been cleaned normally (beds and commonly used items) but not walls and lights. - TV did not connect to Netflix or YouTube as it said Internet couldn't connect. - One part of the floor had a hole in the carpet.

They upgraded our room from 2 single beds to 1 double bed plus a single bed! The location was great! It was 1 block from Southern Cross station where the Sky Bus terminal was so it was easy to go to and from the airport which makes it cheaper too. Also, at the level 2 of the station there is an outlet (Spencer outlet) where you can shop for clothing and shoes. The hotel was also near convenient stores, pharmacy (Chemist), Krispy Kreme, KFC, a Thai restaurant, the meeting place where Klook will pick us up for our Great Ocean tour and it was so near the tram station that goes around the area for free. The bathroom was spacious too and it is so clean and pleasant. It also had a 2 heating light bulbs that will warm you even in a cold weather. Their breakfast was good. They serve fruits, croissants, bread, cornflakes. If you want to add 2 eggs, hashbrown, mushroom and bacon you just pay AUD6 and the plate is good for 2 people to share. The key card is used to going up to your room and to the buffet area which made us feel secured.

I just didn't like that our TV and phone broke down on our 2nd day but they fixed it right away. They also didn't give out slippers and toiletries like cotton pads and buds but these are minor stuff to be concerned of. Another thing, for a small build like me it was a challenge to go up the stairs with a huge luggage to reach the reception. But there was a sign at the door that we can ask for assistance and so the receptionist carried our luggage for us which was great!

One aspect that left a lasting impression was the demeanor of the staff. Notably, I recall an incident where my neighbor's nocturnal clamor disrupted my sleep, prompting me to take action. Without hesitation, I reached out to the hotel staff and conveyed my concern, requesting them to kindly address the issue. To my contentment, they responded with utmost friendliness and efficiency, promptly resolving the matter. Such attentiveness and warmth exhibited by the staff undoubtedly added to the overall positive experience during my stay.

During my stay at the hotel, they forgot to refill my soap, which was a bit disappointing. The room cleaning service didn't take care of it, and as someone who expects things to be perfect, it stood out as a minor letdown. However, apart from this small hiccup, everything else was great, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout my stay.
