This motel is located on the main road in Lilydale but the road noise was reasonable and the room itself was roomy and comfortable. The TV was a good size for viewing (unlike most motels where they are small) and the room had recently been renovated and the ensuite upgraded. The motel was centrally located and made easy access to the place at the centre of our visit.

All was good and the only thing we could mention was that we arrived late afternoon and reception was closed. We had to call a number where we were given a code to a locked key box.

We didn't have breakfast provided by the motel. the fittings in our room were very new nice and pleasant. My wife particularly liked the makeup mirror in the ensuite. Beautiful lighting. Location was great for us as the member of family whom we were visiting lives in the rear street. Our daughter and her husband and our grand daughter with 2 little ones were extemely pleased with the family accommodation that they were offered

It would be nice to have akey to the back gate or a combination to key in. We understand the need for security in keeping it locked, but a new combination every few days would mean access would be limited to those "in house".

We stayed at Yarra Valley Motel for a night after exploring the Yarra Valley area and hence arrived in the evening. The check-in was pretty fuss-free but as the reception was closed, we had to give make a call to the person in charge to receive instructions to retrieve the room keycard from the lockbox. The room itself was very clean and I have nothing to complain about to be honest! It even came with a microwave and portable heater.

As we were a group of 3, the space is a little tight to open up all of our luggages.

Very impressed with the newly renovated bathrooms, especially with the LED lighting in the mirror. Bed was very comfy, smart TV allowed us to connect to Netflix, room was spacious and it was quiet and clean.

The pool was unfortunately being renovated, which means we will definitely have to stay again. When checking out at the requested time by the accommodation, the office was closed so had to drop off the keys in the drop box. That is fine by me, I do prefer that to save time, but there was no communication re this, so was a little confused in the morning.

I'm a senior traveller with mobility and balance issues. Room was spotless. Bed and Linen excellent. Spare pillows in cupboard beautifully ironed. Abundance of gif water and great pressure. Parking at unit door. When I opened boot of my car it was raining and Elderly man sweeping paths who spoke no English using sign language loaded all my Luggage into my car. The last 2 months I've struggled with balance issues and he of course didn't know this and was so kind. Room was very quiet even though it was unit 1 at front close to highway. Loved my stay. Please pass on my thanks to the lovely man who helped me.

Bathroom was lovely but very cold.

Central easy to access location for a one night stay for nearby family catch up. The Motel was neat, clean and seems to have had recent bathroom update. Bed was comfortable and nice warm heating for when were using the room at night and first thing in the morning. Staff made booking in easy and efficient. Parking was nice and close to our room. The location was quiet despite being adjacent to Maroondah Highway.

Like many Motels or B&B small studios they often do not have a small sink in room (kitchenette style) for washing up an making coffee in our pot in the morning. This necessitates using bathroom vanity sink. All manageable for one night!

Location was only 48 mins from here to my destination the following morning after driving several hrs from North East Victoria it was ideal location for me to rest up before a big day competing in Melbourne area.

Confusion on arrival booking. Com offered an upgrade which i accepted to a family room, on arrival was issued a double bed only room, after proof id booked a family room, i got a family room id prefer not to have to discuss proof id pre paid as i had, for a family room ,as i had to, not sure if motel was not notified of upgrade maybe?? It Was paid for ,booked well before stay . Mis communication maybe between booking. Com and motel hope my next stay ive booked goes to plan and correct info received by motel this time around.

The room size was great. The cleanliness was great too. Facilities like the TV was great too. Shower size and pressure was excellent. Card access I thought was good too. The position of the motel was very convenient.

A swimming pool is advertised on the website but is no longer available. There was no sink in the kitchen to wash up dishes. The unit I stayed in did not have enough utensils for all of the guests.

no breakfast supplied - I paid the lesser amount. good amount of tea, coffee, milk and sugar for one night. it was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. very nice updated bathroom. couldn't hear any noise from either side even though they were occupied, nor from outside. I also appreciated the iron and ironing board - great addition. I was hoping for an electric blanket - it was really cold that day and night. I would hope you supply them in winter as I'm sure it would be much colder in the day and night then. Weary travellers appreciate that!

the ad said toiletries were supplied, but these were really basic: I had two tubes of conditioner (needed shampoo as well) and two cakes of soap. the shampoo and perhaps toothpaste would have been handy. also I would assume given your proximity to the Yarra Valley that you host quite a few people going to weddings, so a full length mirror (back of bathroom door, or inside the large cupboard perhaps) would be very handy. I'm not very tall so the high mirror in the bathroom didn't get me any view at all of the rest of me.
