Was a really pleasant surprise this hotel and in a pretty suburb of Salzburg, run for the same familly from 1334 ( as we understand) next to a picturesque church. We was upgrated with a suite which is quite big, very stylish, modern, quiet and had good amenities whit a comfortable bad. The Spa whas a surprise also;the breakfast room is lovely and the breakfast options are varied and tasty. From the beginning we was very wellcome and the staff very friendly.We were very happy with our stay and would definitely come again, especially given the reasonable price. Excellent value for money.

Very pretty hotel with stylish furniture and extremely comfortable rooms. Everything just looked & felt really good quality. The spa area was lovely with a great view across to the mountains. Outdoor pool with plenty of loungers in a quiet garden area. The bus stops right outside and it only takes about 20 minutes into the centre of Salzburg.

A mini fridge & coffee making facilities in the room would have been nice.

We got a room upgrade which was very generous due to noise issues in the first room we stayed in. The spa and facilities are amazing. Breakfast was the best!!

The location was just a bit of a problem there is absolutely no public transport near it and we found it hard and expensive to get into the city. Also some rooms have a noise issue but luckily the staff help to fix this but if there were no rooms left I'm not sure what they would've done as the noise was caused by a church outside the building

The breakfast room is absolutely lovely (you can choose to be inside or in a garden) and the breakfast options are varied and tasty. All in all we were very happy with our stay and would definitely come again, especially given the reasonable price. Excellent value for money.

Staff were some of the most kind, fun, and helpful I've encountered, the spa & pool area is beautiful with stunning views, the room was comfortable and clean, bathroom had heated floors, the food was great, easy location with transit or car.

Pool was a little chilly, and the doors/walls are thin with creaky hallways meaning you can hear EVERYTHING.

The hotel and spa facilities are exceptional. The breakfast is the best I ever had in a hotel. The staff is super friendly. The restaurant offers great food for a fair price. We extended our stay because we were enjoying everything so much and did not want to leave. It is a romantic place perfect for couples.

No complaints at all

We had a beautiful room with a stunning mountain view. The indoor and outdoor pools were both lovely and had great facilities. Breakfast included a huge spread of options and was delicious.

As we didn't have a car, we had to hire a taxi (20€) to get from the train station--a shuttle option would've been nice as it was only just over 4km but entirely uphill.

superb. utterly relaxing and comfortable. warm welcome from the staff, absolutely delicious food for breakfast and dinner in the garden or the unique dining rooms. we will definitely return here.

Having seen the hotel over many years of visiting our friend in Elixhausen we finally got an opportunity to stay for a couple of days. Well worth the wait. Great location, pleasant, welcoming helpful staff, beautifully presented with many quality facilities.

Only minus for us was the unexpected 6am alarm call from the church bells :-)

authentic and beautifully restored building with lots of hidden gems

Food quality in the evening was not in keeping with the quality of the hotel. Waiter in the restaurant was not very friendly.
