The decor is lovely. The rooms are well-designed and have all the basic amenities. Plenty of plugs and reliable wireless. The location was great - one block from the river with a nice walking trail to the historic old town. There is a grocery and a pharmacy one block in the other direction and it's all just five minutes from the train station. There was access to a washing machine and a small shared kitchen and there was a sink in the room. Also this was a good value. It wasn't the cheapest hostel ever, but it was well worth the price. The connected restaurant on the ground floor was also a lovely source for vegetarian and vegan food.

There is no staff. If you have a problem late at night I have no idea how you would contact someone. The bathrooms were wet and stuffy and then they would open the windows to get air flow, but that made it really cold.

I liked the eco-friendly focus of the place, the vibe, the natural materials. The caffè at the ground floor was a very pleasant place to relax in. The breakfast was, I would use the word, spectacular having many tasty vegan options.

I kinda missed someone working the reception desk, they're often pleasant to chat with and get information from. When we entered I saw a large section with brochures and thought "great, now we're at a point where we're replacing people with things like this which is both less nice to interact with and slower to answer the questions in our head". I would also have liked to see some kind of common room area, where people can chill and there are some activities, that can feel like the beating heart of a place.

Location is perfect for exploring Salzburg. Close to Train station and close to the city center. Funny thing about QR codes in the hotel - none of them worked. I was trying to read them all in order to find out more history behind items in the hostel. Place is quiet and clean. Pity we were travelling over Sunday and Monday, so did not had a chance to try out restaurant food. Easy to access as we get all codes before the stay. Room was nice and quirky.

I understand that hostels shares the showers and toilets, but I was expecting them to be a bit more clean. As the hostel advertises as ecological, I understand the mind between the style and decor, but it feels a bit undercared. Hostel does not have AC, so the rooms were really hot and hard to sleep in. Standing fan was a nice gesture, but it did not helped too much.

Central location in Salzburg for a great price. Free on street parking available right outside until 9am - car was parked right infront of our 1st floor room. Really trendy interior woody decor, exactly as shown in the photos. Shared bathroom, as described, was fine. Breakfast available to purchase, but we moved the car at 9am to avoid parking charges and drove 5 mins into Salzburg for breakfast and to continue exploring the city. It's self check-in, access code is provided through the booking.com app, so we never actually saw any staff during our stay. Note, the way the 3 bed room is set-up, this could accommodate a family of 4, because the bottom 2 single beds are end-to-end and mattresses join up... just saying in case a family of 4 want to save a few pennies 😉

No issues at all, all as described.

Style, practicality of the location, cleanliness, kitchen type, access to the restaurant next door. Easy ventilation of the room, sink in the room was super handy. A dew hangers and shelfs on the wall, however not enough to unpack your XXL luggage!

The hanging system for chargers doesn't work. The power charger stops charging after a while because of the weight pulling it out of the outlet (gravity...). It simply falls out of the outlet. The bed frames are a danger to life, haha! You constantly hit something.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The showers and toilets were also clean when I used them. I loved the decorations as well. The location is perfect, just down the road from the station. The staff were responsive when I complained about a noisy group of guests. I liked how my room had a sink. It's a sweet place and I would stay here again!

They could have done with a few more toilets, but that being said I just tried them on each floor until I found one unoccupied, or as someone was leaving. It was nice overall. The walls could be more soundproof as well. Unfortunately if some guests decide to be inconsiderate and noisy you may hear them

-15mins walk down the river to the town centre and 10mins walk to Salzburg train station - the room were stylish with majority of the furniture upcycled -the garden cafe has a lovely atmosphere -easy online check in and out process -city tax is included in the online bill and so you don't have to save cash for it at the end of your stay -rooms are small and heats up quickly. -mattresses are firm and comfortable (pillows are very flat) -the toilets and bathroom were consistently very clean. -the bathroom we shared had a door if you have concerns over having curtains as doors for the bathroom. -there's no keys, just a pin to access your room.

-There's no options for lockers to hold the luggage on your last day of the visit.

The location is perfect, close to the center but out of the turistic area. The design of the place is lovely, with the wooden beds and lights. We had our kid with us and he was extatic and was playing Peter pan in the tree house all the time 😊 I also liked the smoothless and digitalised checkin.

There is one thing that could be improved: the showers. They are all rainfall showers and it's difficult to wash a small child or to wash without washing the head. They look nice but are not practical.

The location was perfect! You can reach all wonderful places by foot. And even you can see the mountain in your window. The shower was good with hot water. We didn’t use the kitchen but it was also with all things to cook. Also the pillows was nice. And you have places to put some small things near your bed. This is so cute:)

We sleep with earplugs so it wasn’t noisy for us:) but if you don’t use it can be loudly because of the railway station near the hotel. The mattresses were a bit hard.

Good location with walkable distances, both close to the train station and the city centre. Nice vibe and decor is unique, the kitchen was also a nice feature and being able to cook our own meals was handy as eating out in Austria can be pricey. Check-in was quick and effortless as the property is accessible by a unique code. Exactly what we needed for a two night stay in Salzburg

Fortunately we had no issues during our stay, but having little staff/ someone available at a reception desk may be an inconvenience if something were to go wrong
