1- Lack of reception staff and only one receptionist when I arrived. 2- The reception staff not answering the phone due to the presence of only one employee. 3- There is only one elevator. 4- The parking is very small and can accommodate only 9 cars.

This place is STUNNING! Arty, sophisticated, modern yet classic. I booked it without expecting too much - the online photos were very average. But this turns out to be one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in in Europe. It’s the attention to detail that makes the difference. Free drinks and chocolates all day in the entrance lounge. Super friendly staff. Rooms are beautiful. Beds comfortable. Food delicious. I shouldn’t give reviews like this because they’ll push their price. But this one deserves it.

You’ve done so well with everything. But there’s no gym!! A hotel of this calibre needs a gym.

Located within 5 minute walk to the city center. Clean rooms and super high ceilings.

The rooms were cleaned only at 5pm, far to late for a five star hotel

During the booking I left a message that we would stay for our anniversary. We got a free upgrade, access to the lounge and the room was romantically decorated. My wife loved it and a happy wife is priceless ;). Thank you very much, highly appreciated. The room was very clean, with a nice firm bed and (very important) a two person duvet. The shower is great and breakfast is good with plenty of choice. The parking space in the courtyard is very limited, but in case there is no space valet parking is included. Just leave the keys and the friendly staff will take care of your car. The location is perfect with all the highlights within a couple of minutes walking.

Just a minor tip: at breakfast you can get cooking water directly from a faucet. However, there are no instructions and it took me some minutes to figure out there are three buttons that you need to push simultaneously. The next day I saw other guest struggling as well. Might be a good idea to place some instructions next to the faucet.

Very lovely hotel so close to the old town (literally a two minute walk to mirabel gardens). The room size was great, and having the mini bar complimentary was a nice touch. Breakfast was very lovely with a great spread, the bar has a great atmosphere for a few after dinner drinks. Excellent service by Kristian at the desk, even giving some suggestions on local restaurants to visit on our stay. All in all a lovely experience in a beautiful hotel.

The bedding! Where to start? The mattress topper and the plastic under sheet (someone has clearly wet the bed in this hotel!) continually sliding off the bed was annoying (we ended up removing them to get any kind of sleep). The worst pillows I have ever experienced in my life- more just a pillow case with a feather inside then an actual pillow, no support whatsoever! Whilst the bathroom was beautiful, having a grab bar in the shower at the worst position so you continually hit it when trying to shower is not smart designing! And unfortunately there just isn’t much room in the shower to have this bar where it is. Having only one elevator (very slow elevator to boot!) for a hotel this size was annoying especially when you have your bags and are on the top floors.

Exceptional hotel in excellent location serving Salzburg. Upon hotel arrival, was allowed to check in early and given an upgraded room. Room was spacious, quiet and updated with all the amenities you'd expect from the finest hotels, with excellent shower, comfortable bedding, plenty of electrical outlets and cold (effective) air conditioning. The staff was friendly and a special nod to Romy (front desk) who was welcoming and helpful. I'd highly recommend this hotel over more expensive nearby hotels which I've stayed in before, and would definitely book the Hyperion again as my first choice.

We highly recommend The Hyperion Hotel in Salzburg. We travel a lot and this hotel is a gem!! The beautiful and so welcoming reception staff, you really made our stay with a lovely Prosecco and chocolate and you were so helpful - THANK YOU. Close enough to walk to many attractions, restaurants, beautiful shops and The Old Town in Salzburg (10-15 mins walk) and Mirabell Gardens across the road. Our room which was superior was spacious, comfy bed, very clean, fab shower. great continental breakfast too. We will recommend you to everyone.

Beautiful modern hotel in an old palace just across from the park and near the Altstadt and train station. Hotel has not been open long and the rooms are not huge but comfortable.

Well I expected it to have a pool/spa because that's what 5 stars means in Germany or America. It was basically a 4 star hotel, or a nice hotel without such facilities. There was only one small elevator which didn't really meet the needs of the number of guests and instead of making something nice in the Hof (courtyard) they made it parking; it's small and doesn't accommodate a lot of cars so I would have certainly made it a public area for guests (maybe with a pool!). My room was also not looking out at anything nice...

Hotel has one of the best rooms with high ceiling and big beds in whole Salzburg. We asked the team to accompany with Early check in and potentially upgrade if that would be possible and they did both! From standard deluxe room they have upgraded to junior suit and made check in 11 am. Really grateful for this Love the location and breakfast as well. Second time here and so far it is becoming my favorite hotel in Salzburg!

Room has unique design to be honest, however having shower in the room is bit weird. When u taking a shower if it’s at night and your partner sleeping u definitely waking her up or vice versa.

This was a trip with our son as a celebration. We had booked two rooms. Unfortunately our son was ill and could not attend. I wrote in and was very appreciative of the gesture from Hyperion, specifically Herr Christian Rothbauer, for combining our rooms for a lovely suite. The studio was fabulous and very modern and exceptionally clean. The hotel service was fantastic. There was a slight issue for late room service, as we arrived late, as the phone connection had a problem at midnight but the receptionist himself came up and took our order directly. Salzburg is small and the hotel is beautifully placed to visit the sights of Salzburg.

Absolutely nothing other than why they are not yet in London. They are expanding I am told and I just cannot wait.
