A lovely hotel conveniently situated in a buzzy pedestrian mall in Salzburg. Our room was spacious, comfortable, well appointed and quiet as it faced the beautiful cemetery backing the hotel. Plenty of restaurants etc nearby. and an easy walk to the river and attractions. We appreciated the downstairs lounge area to relax and enjoy complimentary coffee during the day.

Floors are wooden so we could hear the people above when they came home late at night and stomped around. We would have used the pretty outdoor balcony area but for smokers.

Fantastic location, beautiful building and rooms, very clean and tidy, helpful staff, great selection of teas in the lobby.

It would be great if they offered breakfast at the hotel (at the time of writing this review there is only tea and nibbles available). Our original room reeked of smoke when we got it (it is a non-smoking hotel); staff were super helpful when asked to give us another room, but did not offer anything themselves: we had to come up with a solution and ask for it.

A very nice, simple stylish hotel. A large comfortable two part lounge area, with bottles of wine, beer and soft drinks a single. A very relaxing hotel in a great location in the heart of Salzburg with local restaurants and bars etc all close by. Very relaxing and not too many rooms, so quiet and peaceful.

All good, however it was quite warm when we were there (25°c) and there wasn’t aircon so rather warm for sleeping however there were large fans in the rooms which helped.

This hotel is a gem!! We couldn't believe how nice the location was! Loved the rooms too - large and lovely, and the balconies overlooking the incredible church and cemetery - right in the middle of the old town! Yet peaceful. Really liked the croissants in the morning too. And the laid-back vibe. Will definitely stay again if we ever return to Salzburg!

Well. We met two different ladies in the front desk during or stay.. One was just incredibly lovely and helpful and professional and made us feel so welcome! The other lady on the other hand.... Had to be THE rudest we have ever met on our travels. She was so rude it actually just made us laugh in the end, because it was just so bizarre and.. Well.. Really don't know what she was thinking. She must really hate her job. She even verbally abused at the taxi driver who came to pick us up when were leaving. The poor (and lovely!!!) gentleman was so confused afterwards, we had to tell him not to take it personally cause she was like that to us too.. He just couldn't believe it.. So - that woman was not good for the hotel.... But EVERYTHING else was perfect, as long as we just ignored her... ;)

The location was good and it was a walkable distance from most attractions in Salzburg. It was nice that the accommodation offered complimentary tea and coffee in the common room and a crossaint for breakfast.

The bathroom feels a bit dated with sandstone walls and roof. The room didn't have a kettle or fridge so we weren't able to bring back any food or make a cup of tea in the room.

Hotel is located in a great location to explore this beautiful city. A massive restoration program is happening at the church located right next to the Hotel. Fortunately, they don't start working too early in the morning, so noise was not a factor. Our room was clean and washroom facilities very nice. Breakfast was not available but the Hotel provided access to coffee and a few croissants each morning so you could start your day. That was included in our daily room costs.

If you're driving the Hotel does not provide parking. There is a parkade a couple of blocks away - secure - where you can park. In the mornings you can access the road that goes in front of the Hotel so you can load your luggage.

I loved this little spot! It's charming and quaint. It has a perfect location for me. I wanted to see the Altestadt and it was right in it, easy walking distance for everything I wanted to see. The staff was friendly and helpful. They gave me a map of Salzburg and circled areas of interest for me. There's a cute, self-serve breakfast with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, plain croissants with jams and also croissant sandwiches. Breakfast is out until 10 (and even a little after). The facilities were clean and adorable. They played music by Mozart, of course, which I loved. There are terraces to sit outside and enjoy some peace while watching the Salzburg sky. I really liked this hotel.

The bathrooms were clean and nice but poorly designed. Even taking a short shower, the whole bathroom floor flooded and there weren't enough towels to soak it all up so I had to be careful about walking in there. Also, there was giant construction going on right outside my window but I know it wasn't the hotel's fault.

The room was extremely clean and the bathroom was spacious. The walk-in shower was a fantastic addition - especially considering the tiny showers we have been encountering trhough most of our Europe travels. The bed was comfortable and the decor quite tasteful. It happened to bit a bit hot while we were there but that was generally fixed by opening the windows and using the fan provided by the hotel. The limited breakfast was adequate and we enjoyed being able to get a complimentary cappuccino any time of the day. The location was in a very happening spot in town...

As the location was a happening spot in town, there were crowds gathered outside in the street enjoying themselves somewhat loudly late into the night (even on a weekday). Additionally, sanitation trucks were out in very loud force during the 6:00am hour. Neither of those things is particularly bad, but when combined with the open windows due to the heat, it did result in losing some sleep.

Liked the room and the location was excellent.

It was confusing getting to the hotel because it's on a pedestrian street and you need a code to access the street to drop off your luggage and check-in. The hotel should have provided better details and instructions on this before hand. Also, given the room rates, breakfast should be included. They do offer croissants but there is a charge for them. Coffee & tea were included.

Excellent location in old downtown Salzburg. Our room was overlooking on a cemetery, where Mozart's father and Mozart's wife rest (we discovered this on the following morning, and it was very emotional, as were are musicians). The house is a former convent, full of charm, and everything interesting in Salzburg is within walking distance.

It is really strange for a 4-star hotel that there is no reception after 6 PM. A token machine leaves you enter, but don't forget to call before the reception closes! There is no car park either with the hotel, which is located in a pedestrian precinct, but you can easily find places in the back streets, and put in coins from time to time (probably the least expensive solution).
