Rhe cleaning staff did not speak english at all. Once, the clerk at the reception desk, gave me the wrong location of the bus stop that i had to wait at, and this cause a waste of my limited time. She said that bus 170 would come to the bus stop across the street, near the entrance to mirabell palace, and the correct location was actually across from saint andrew church. I also expected from a hotel of this high level to have an additional restaurant for lunch and dinner in the building itself.

This was our first trip to Salzburg. We loved the hotel, the warm customer service offered by the staff, in addition to the great location, 2 minutes from Mirabell Gardens. We also loved that the hotel had a cafe on site, in addition to the sister site a few blocks down the street with great restaurants. The best part of the hotel was the fantastic breakfast. Great selection, of beverages (loose teas, variety of coffees) hot food options, in addition to cold cuts, cheeses, fruits and more. We also liked that the hotel offered 5 euro credit for doing away with room cleaning as a voucher to spend at the cafe. Great, creative idea.

The hotel was clean and nice. Its location was great for exploring Salzburg, shopping and restaurants. It’s right next to Mirabell Palace which was great. Also across the street from a good bakery and the bus stop.

Just be aware there are no amenities at this hotel. There isn’t a bar or restaurant and there was barely a “Lounge”. There was a “coffee bar” but it was never open the whole time we were there. In hindsight, I would have booked a different hotel that had somewhere to unwind after a day of exploring/walking all over the place. Just a personal preference.

The staff was amazing! I was looking for a specific type of chocolate covered orange slices that I purchased many years ago in Vienna. I looked around in the city and I couldn't find them... The staff at the front desk were amazing to call local shops to see if they had this specific type of chocolates, without any luck. The front desk manager called a place in Vienna which had them, she helped me place the order and received the order within a few days. This is going above and beyond to help! I highly recommend the hotel with the amazing personnel.

The game changer was the staff. I can't describe how they made everything to make our stay in they hotel warm and fruitfully. Mast mention specially the ladies in the reception , Sofia and Julia and they supervisor, Erica . The location is most important to mention it. This Hotel serving a enormous breakfast ,I not saw this kind in other hotels in Austria.

If we talk about 4 star hotel.,I missed the slippers and the robe after the shaver, but those minor things not destroyed our joy in this hotel.

Room was very nice, clean, comfortable bedding, with large bathroom, provided additional glasses, wine glasses and coffee cups with a Nespresso coffee maker. Good location, public transportation nearby. Front desk staff were extremely helpful, went out of their way to assist with local calls and arrangements. We did not have breakfast at the hotel.

Could be a bit noisy on the street below at night if you left your window/balcony door open, but quiet when closed, and had AC if needed. Obviously this was not within the hotel's control.

Such an adorable hotel in the perfect location. Easy walk to get to the Old Town and with so much to also see and do on right around the hotel. It's an easy 15 min safe walk from the train station and has a supermarket, pharmacy and other essential shops nearby. You can walk to all the major tourist attractions. The staff were so lovely and helpful and the rooms were a good size and very clean. If you need a firm pillow, I suggest bringing your own. That is the only thing I could fault about this beautiful and adorable hotel.

Lovely old hotel, but with modern facilities. Also I liked that you got keys to the door and not a card. The room faced a busy street, but was very quiet and couldn't hear any traffic. The hotel is a short walk to the Old City and Christmas Markets. For it's location to everything the price of the hotel room per night is very reasonable, I recommend this hotel for it's location to all the tourist sites. Staff are wonderful & friendly. they also speak very good English. The breakfast was not included in my price but was excellent choice of food & service was very friendly, the cost was 19 Euros.

Only one complaint about the room, and this is a personal thing, I found the room quite warm and there was no where to adjust the temp or turn off the heat.

one of the most beautiful experiences In Austria was the staff for the breakfast and reception in this hotel. They were very polite and friendly. A bit of an issue with the facility as it is an old, small place but it did not matter much. overall sweet and cosy hotel.

The shower is a bit too small. and wish there was a coffee table with an armchair in the room. But I was very happy with the aircon in the room.

The Staff at the hotel was helpful and kind to my husband and I and especially to our Golden Retriever. They set our dog up with a water bowl, dog treats and her own blanket upon arrival, which was so cute! The room was a good fit for us and the location was perfect for walking all around Salzburg. Would return!

The hotel was very loud in the mornings when the cleaning staff started working and in the room, I saw this mentioned in other comments, the shower is SO high. The lip of the tub/shower was equal with my 6'0" husband's mid thigh, for reference. I imagine that would be very difficult for older guests. Otherwise it was great!
