Very good location in the middle of the old town. Easy to walk through and explore. The staff were really nice and helpful. Access to the coffee machine all day was a reall bonus! The hotel is right around the corner from a supermarket, and also the best strudel cafe. Room was very comfortable. Quiet apart from a few drunk people on the streets.

They had taken the mini fridge out of our room for some reason but we were able to use the fridge in the breakfast room.

The staff - Stefanie, Igor, Carlos, and Dominic were really very friendly, they couldn't have been more helpful. It was also lovely to be able to go into the breakfast room any time of day to make yourself a tea/coffee, particularly when coming in to rest after some sightseeing/shopping.

I would have liked a 2nd chair in our room (32) so we could both sit. It wasn't comfortable to sit on the bed because the headboard is recessed into the wall. The bed was really comfortable to sleep but you couldn't sit up on the bed.

Perfectly located for a short visit to Salzburg. A short walk to all the main sites and restaurants and bars but still on a lovely quiet street. Free tea and coffee available all day in the breakfast area which was nice. The staff were all very helpful. I would definitely stay again.

The room was a bit small but big enough for a few days. Bells rang in the early morning in the surrounding area, lovely to hear but if you are a light sleeper pack some ear plugs!

The hotel staff was amazing and in an excellent location. They made recommendations for dinner and helped with other questions we had. The hotel offers a very nice breakfast with lots of options and they will also cook you eggs and waffles upon request. We were able to store our luggage there most of the day after we checked out.

The rooms were on the street so it was VERY loud all night, but we knew that was the case when we booked as the hotel mentions this on the booking page. It was just very hot when we visited so we ended up sleeping with the windows closed because of the noise and it was awfully hot in the room.

The location was perfect! We had 3 rooms for 6 adults. The 2 economy rooms on the main floor were the smallest, the bathroom and room itself were ok. We booked 1 standard room, that one had a little more space, a small bathroom as well. This room faced the street, so it was a bit noisy. Our small dog was able to go with us. The hotel staff from the time of booking until arrival were terrific! Excellent communication- especially with helping me find a parking lot for a 9-seater van over the 2.1M height. We ended up parking at the Mirabell ParkPlatz, with their reduced ticket rate of 14€ a night. I requested a fan in each room, all was great upon arrival. We did not have breakfast, but there is free coffee/tea available in the morning, we sat outside and enjoyed waking up. Everything is walkable - no need to have a car once you are here!

The outlet on the bedside table is a pain. We had to stack items under my charger to get it to stay in the wall. The hotel room/bathrooms are dated, but its a place to stay for a fair price.

location is excellent, close to restaurants and a friendly little wine bar just across the street but also a nice quiet street. The breakfast was excellent and the Staff very pleasant and helpful. The room and the breakfast room were spotlessly clean.

nothing I didn't like. Would be nice to have a small lounge area to sit with Friends in the evening but they do allow you to use the breakfast room

The staff were exceptionally accommodating and friendly. The room was comfortable and spacious with a clean and functional bathroom with shower and good enough lighting that I was able to do my makeup for my 'post wedding celebration night out'. (very important!) Location is perfect too. I used to live in Salzburg, so I know it very well and this was by far the best price for the quality of comfort, spaciousness of room and friendliness of staff I've ever experienced since leaving the city for England.

Only that breakfast costs £12, but given that Austrian breakfasts are usually pretty plentiful and varied, this wasn't a surprise to me, just a disappointment because I couldn't afford to stretch my budget to pay for it. Definitely not really worth being marked down on though - purely to let people know that's what it costs.

The people here are fantastic. They are very friendly and helpful. Very good location (close to Old Town, Mirabell gardens, restaurants, and tour meeting places. Nice breakfast.

We were on the 5th floor and the room was small with a low ceiling. We hit our heads on the ceiling a few times.

Lovely hotel in a perfect location. The room was nice, quiet, and comfortable, but what set the hotel apart was that the personnel (and owners) were exceptionally friendly. They offered free coffee and tee, gave tips for things to see in Salzburg, and generally made us feel very welcome. Overall, I will definitely stay here again when I return to Salzburg.

Excellent location, right next to old town Salzburg. We booked a family room, which was a good size for us and 2 kids. Hotel also had a breakfast area where they served excellent breakfast and had complimentary coffee and hot chocolate all day around. Special mention of hotel managers Dominic and his wife! They were excellent and went out of their way to help us with day tour plans and made sure our stay was comfortable.

Nothing
