Location is very good both for center and for metro. Lobby is very cosy and with free coffee and water. Excellent for pre-goodnight talks if you are with friends. Staff is friendly and easygoing. Sufficient space in the apartment, free sparkling water and beer. Quiet. Matress is OK, pillows are good. Kitchen - good for kids and with insulating doors.

- Extra bed (paid for extra) is actually a sofa "bed", not comfortable due to cushion gaps. No matress on top, despite asking for one. - Bathroom is dated and some items broken, and with very small space around toilet, and with small bathtube with damaged/dirty looking surface. I know there are rooms with much nicer bathrooms (it'smy second time in the hotel) - make sure to check in advance. - There is some strange automation (or problem) that turns on the bathroom fans at night which makes a bit of background noise, even if the bathroom door reduces it a lot. Didn't find a way to control this. - No slippers. Only 3in1 coffee in the room. - Small TV without internet (no apps loke netflix, hbo, etc) and only Austrian/German channels working. - Not enough lighting for the night.

The hotel an der Oper has excellent location, just 2 minutes from the metro station. The room was very large included separate kitchen and hall. All facilities are comfortable with amazing view to the central street and Oper ring. The staff in Reception were very kind and friendly, they help us in every simple things. Also it is very nice to have a free coffee and water during staying.

everything was excellent

We stayed for 2 weeks because we were attending the opera. Location was perfect -- steps from the opera house and close to all major sights, museums, transit. Spacious studio apartment with small kitchen, full sized refrigerator, dishwasher. Laundry facilities (use an app) in the hotel. Separate WC and shower room always a plus. Endless supply of sparkling water and the welcome beers were great on hot VIenna summer days.

Since the apartment is cleaned once a week, some basic cleaning supplies and a broom/dustpan would have been helpful to keep things neat in between times.

Super location 1 block from Opera and 60ft from U-bahn access. Room is nice with good size bath. Has small kitchen with refrigerator. You get bottled water as needed and even a couple of beers in refrigerators. Small grocery store across street where you can buy things for breakfast. We didn't buy their breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. We have stayed here several times. It is our first place to look for a room in Vienna

If we have to find something... no hair dryer. Fan in bath a bit Noisy.

Great staff! They were very helpful all the time and friendly and made our experience great! The location was also excellent. On the same sidewalk there's an entrance to the metro, quick walk to parks, old buildings and museums!

It's an old building. So, you might expect a small elevator, some stairs before the elevator and this kind of old building characteristcs. On the other hand, it's beautiful on the inside, it's almost like staying in a museum.

Excellent location: it's close to the museum quartier, to the opera theater, to the city center, to a few concert halls. Moreover it is steps away from a very central public transport hub from where you can easily grab a tram or subway to wherever else you want to go. (Pro tip get a city pass or card to cover your stay for hassle and worry free public transport usage. We got a room for 4 people, it was great, very spacious plus there is a door separating the bedroom from the living room (the second bed was in the living room / converted sofa bed), nice city view. Tiny gripe, it was on the top floor and a the area next to the windows was a bit tight on the roof space, if you are very tall consider asking to not be on the top floor (it was fine anyway). Lots of plugs available for your devices. There was a small kitchenette, fridge and coffee maker. We didn't actually cook but it's great to have the option. The fridge had water and beers, there was also instant coffee, chocolate powder and tea. The shower was nice, the bathroom was spacious, towels included. There is reception 24x7 and the staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a luxurious lobby with coffee and water where you can stay before checkin or after checkout. All in all a great experience, it was really a serviced hotel experience but in a very big room and exceptional location to visit the city.

Can't think of anything.

The location was excellent: very easy to walk into the centre (Stephansdom) and the Karlsplatz intersection (trams and several U-Bahn lines) was just outside. The provision of complimentary chilled water and coffee was a thoughtful and welcome touch. The room had loads of space and was very quiet.

Some of the furniture was a bit tired and could do with an upgrade.

Living Hotel an der oper is situated in a great location, within walking distance to many tourist attractions (15 min) walk all your directions and there are plenty to see and enjoy. Also walking distance to the best cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. 20 meters away from metro, trams and buses. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Amina (receptionist) is the star of the show. A big thank you to Benjamin for helping us multiple times. The suits are roomy and you feel perfectly at home. The housekeeping is also an amazing service. I could not find an accommodation with this size at this location within this price range. We enjoyed our 23 days stay in the living hotel and already planned to come in June🙂.

Absolutely nothing.

Great location for exploring Vienna - right across from Vienna Opera House. Strong wi-fi signal, very quiet with blockout curtains, the bonus was daily free coffee, water & 2 beers. A lovely lounge area at reception. The room space was a bit tight because of the odd layout, but adequate.

Very small fridge, air conditioning struggled on a hot day, small bed (smallest so far while travelling Europe for 3+ weeks). These are just picky issues, it was fine.

Fantastic location, lovely room, gorgeous interiors, impressive hospitality. Thank you all for the receptionists beeing always nice and helpful to me. I do recommend other guests to emails the hotels in advance to your arrival if you have any concerns or requests you would like to ask to the hotel. I know the receptionists would try their best to meet your requests.

Maybe, sometimes you need to educate your maids better. Most of them are so nice, but I saw some of them did not work well. ex) glasses were not clearned well etc
