Breakfast staff was great and spa was nice to have.

Hard sell at the front desk at check-in in front of guest. Attendant said he could see from my reservation I requested one large bed instead of twins. Then says he has plenty of king beds if I’m willing to pay another $50 euro a night. This made the whole experience feel cheap, particularly when you are already spending 350 euro a night, and it was embarrassing in front of guests. This is a bad practice. If you have plenty of king beds, don’t offer it unless you’re willing to provide it. If a guests wants to pay more for a larger bed, they will state this and ask you if there is availability.

Every single detail about our stay was brilliant. We love and usually stay in old hotels and this one did not disappoint us at all. The front desk manager was beyond helpful, restaurant staff was just splendid. I’d like to congratulate the hotel’s chef on recreating a true royal feeling to the dishes that resembled 19th century culinary art of Vienna. The location of the hotel is just what you need! Especially if you are planning to hire a taxi or just want to walk around the centre. A marvellous experience of the last Advent week for us!

Whenever we called the reception from the room there was no answer. Going down to the lobby and asking for small derails was not a problem because the hotel’s lobby is just impressive and you don’t mind. However, sometimes when you are not dressed, it would be nice to be able to talk to the receptionist from the room. ;) Hope this improves next time.

It was quiet, clean. Slept well even if room was a bit hot (switched off aircon to have full silence). Decoration a bit heavy, but normal for Baroque Vienna ! Lovely Piano playing at the bar each evening 22h-22h30. Breakfast quite good (with choices for vegan/vegetariens)! Bicycle hire (via an app), just 50m away.

A few small details, if we want to nit-pick: Well, the breakfast staff were very good, but very (too) young? Are they well paid? I sent an email requesting information on transport to the "info@" address, but never got an answer. A swimming pool would have been nice, or electric scooter hire :-).

where do I start?! This was by far the best hotel I have stayed in! I made a reservation and checked in late and they did not have the same room that we reserved to they upgraded us to the best hotel room that I have ever seen. If a queen stays in it should would be happy! That is how awesome the room was. The staff were SUPER cooperative and very nice.

Amazing hotel, fantastic service. We've taken half board (BF and dinner) but the dinner's set-up menu was really first class - real gourmet food! Great atmosphere, super location... I would really love to visit this hotel again. My honest recommendations to anyone reading this post

Location was amazing, we were right next to the Opera house and Music house and city center. The hotel was very helpful in getting us tickets to various events, scheduling reservations and they even had a wheelchair that my mom could use for day time activities. The bar Wagemut on the second floor was absolutely amazing and breakfast was excellent.

While the rooms were clean and nice, we did have some issues with the lights (switches did not work), lamps did not work etc. In my mom's room the shower flooded and also several light switches did not work. When we notified the hotel about the issues, they were addressed right away.

super clean,super friendly, excuisite decor, superb perfect meals, superb courteous staff, luxurious. best location. everything is done so that you feel great.

uncomfortable bed: both mattresses and pillows were very uncomfortable we paid for dinner and were never asked for seats reservation on the first night as the hotel's exquisite restaurant needs advanced seats reservations. we asked how come a night in advance and we were never answered. went to sleep hungry. the dunnrr menu was closed and confined to a special "package" which could not be changed and was chosen for us. albeit the food was superb and all choices were great, we would find an opener menu much more appealing.

Stayed 2 nights with my wife. First of all we would like to thank the hotel staff. They were very friendly and polite even to us who are not good at English. The location of the hotel was very good and we had a comfortable time exploring Vienna. The interior of the room is very calm and clean. The bathroom, which was relatively troublesome at other hotels, was perfect here. The dryer was easy to use and hot water came out quickly. Breakfast is not just a full buffet, but a warm and delicious menu. Personally, it was a little disappointing that there were few types of raw vegetables. It was a memorable visit to Vienna. Excellent location, nice lobby, beautiful building.

Noisy air conditioning, and very hot in bathroom, it couldn’t be calibrated from room.

Near the the opera and the centre of Vienna the location is great. We took the CAT from the airport then the underground. The hotel had a beautiful Christmas tree, lovely chandeliers. great staff and a super breakfast buffet. The room was comfortable and clean. We appreciated the shoe cleaning service. A well designed and comfortable hotel. We really liked it.

The hotel looks close to needing major redecorartion. The valance on our bed looked as though it hadn't been changed for a while. The grab rail on the bath couldn't be used because of a shower panel and one of the wash hand basins had a bad crack in it. The view of the inner courtyard overlooked an appartment block where the venetian blind was hanging out of the window. We struggled with the tv system but eventually worked out how to pay for films. We had one small cognac from the mini bar that cost a fortune!
