Long waiting time at the reception for check in and check out The pillows were not that comfortable The receptionist told to park the car and the bell boy will collect the baggage and get them up to the room. However, I went for around 10 minutes and the bags were at the same location at the reception. I had to carry them all by myself with no reaction or intent to assist from the receptionist.

The location of this place is awesome, and I could catch an Uber to any part of the country within one minute. The room has everything you need, though it's on the small side. At the risk of sounding like a chauvinist pig, the front desk attendant was stunningly beautiful and may very well have been hired for this very reason (she was totally competent, as well). Hey, gotta give credit where it's due. Right across the street from the national museum, and a five minute walk from a restaurant district (high concentration of eateries within a small area). 20-30 minute walk from the souq. No one besides me walks in Bahrain in this heat, but still, just to let you know it IS possible to do so!

I think at this price point, they should include a simple breakfast. The hot water was pretty slow to activate, but this is a huge hotel with many people staying there (was there over a weekend in which Bahrain was swamped with other Saudi tourists like myself).

Very very friendly and helpful staffs. They can help me to arrange everything I need, and answer all my questions. My room also has a great view and I really enjoy the room decorations. Location is also very close to everything, sadly in Bahrain no matter how close it is, you still need to drive or call a taxi.

The swipe card sometimes won't work just because of a single touch with my phone, I've replaced the card 3 times during my stay. Also the hallway doesn't have lights on at all time, so it's a little bit scary at night when you just walk out of the elevator. But overall these are not huge issues.

Tiny and comfortable room. Very kind and friendly staff. We didn't have any cash when we arrived at the hotel. But the staff borrowed us some money to pay to the taxi driver. I had never had such an experience in the world. In the morning when we were waiting for a taxi, the staff gave us bottles of water. I thought people in Bahrain are so kind and generous. I loved my stay in Bahrain!!

If there were slippers, shampoo, conditioner and body soap, it would be perfect!! (There was liquid all (shampoo, conditioner, body soap and face wash) in).

Great customer service and friendly staff on reception. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The location was great and easy to find some good restaurants close by. Bahrain is beautiful with very friendly people and small enough to see everything in a few days.

The breakfast was pretty basic , the juices were not fresh and from a carton. The breakfast was not prepared as early as the time stated and on the last morning, we were not able to eat before leaving for the airport.

We stayed at the Ibis Styles Diplomatic Area hotel to go to the Bahrain Grand Prix. It's only a 30 minutes' drive to the circuit. We had a rental car but the free F1- shuttle bus also has a stop at the hotel. The hotel room is clean. The bed was good. The walls are not completely sound proof but apparently we had silent neighbours, we didn't have any problems. We booked half board and that was very convenient for us. The breakfast was good. Everything was refilled until the end. The restaurant is situated on the 24th floor with beautiful views from Manama. The buffet style dinner was also very welcoming when we returned to the hotel in the evening. The dinner buffet was available until 10 PM. Ramish, the waiter in the restaurant was fabulous. He managed to run the whole restaurant on his own so to speak. Service with a smile, always. And the cook gave his best as well. I would definitely stay at the hotel again.

The hotel is close to the Beit al Quran museum, the national museum and the traditional town Muharaq. Breakfast was good with a broad choice of food and beverages. Our room was quiet and comfortable

The hotel is part of an area of banks and other hotels. It looks like an urban desert. There are no shops or restaurants apart from the hotel restaurants. We fortunately had dinner included in our booking. They provide one shampoo and one shower gel in a double room. The bathroom was rather small. We hired a taxi for one day through the hotel. When the taxi arrived we saw that we had to pay twice as much as the taxi would charged if we had stopped it on the road. Thus, do not ask the hotel to call a taxi for you.

So glad I chose here: you can walk to the souk, mall, museum; some small local places to eat, tea shops and minimart are around the corner, view from 20th floor is impressive, bed very comfortable, fridge quiet, wifi great, water pressure a little low but no issue for me, English channels, no noise from the hallway. Above all, the friendly and professional serice from the staff, especially the woman at reception daytime, really made my stay perfect.

This was the perfect place to stay for my trip to Bahrain! From the moment I walked in, Mel in reception greeted me with a big smile. She not only remembered my name and used it every time she saw me, but she was purposeful in asking me about my days exploring the country and ensuring my stay was going well at the hotel. Having worked in customer service, I can say that Mel is top notch which made staying at this Ibis a top notch stay!

All was great despite the goof by Booking.com. I booked one room for me and another room for two friends (twin beds). Unfortunately, Booking.com requested two queen/king-bed rooms. The Manager, Mr. Hani, was very understanding and he gave us the right rooms with an upgrade.

One thing that is somewhat disappointing was the fact there is no swimming pool. I thought there was due to pictures on the Net. Not a big deal, but I advised the staff accordingly.
