The host Michael was exceptional. Upon arrival we were made so welcome and had the opportunity to relax and chat about the accommodation, the city and the sights we should look out for. Michael was so knowledgeable and gave us a great overview of what we should look for and some great places to visit. The accommodation was excellent. The room was very spacious, the breakfast was excellent and exceeded our expectations and the location for the train station and the centre was ideal. We’re already looking to rebook for Christmas, thanks Michael and the team for such a great stay.
Nothing really

This is the most luxurious B&B we have ever stayed in. It's a heritage building decorated with lots of antique furniture and kinds of stuff. You can tell that the staff treasures this building very much, and I was really impressed with the care they take to maintain the building. The staff there are really nice. They helped us with the parking and luggage delivery. They gave us lots of recommendations for things to do and restaurants to eat. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The breakfast was served in a way that perfectly matched the character of the place.

One of the most wonderful places I've stayed! I regret we had just ine night. Rooms are expansive; not the usual tiny EU size; you can expect to be comfortable for long stays if you need, the common parlor is a two story space that was an historic glass artist's studio, large patio / roof deck, incredibly kind, knowledgable, and interesting owners, a breakfast that is as exceptional as the rooms.... All situated ideally in beautiful Bruges!
We are only sad that we had just one night here! Note this is a boutique hotel, with each room named to honor different historic artists. Furniture and art is curated to establish a historic vibe. If you prefer standardized rooms like those at chain hotels, this won't be for you. I personally felt as if I could move in and make this my home away from home! So welcoming!

This bed and breakfast is really artistic and unique- filled with beautiful antiques. It’s in the center of Bruges, but very quiet-a short walk to all the sights. Our room was gorgeous, with a really comfy bed and huge claw foot tub. Michael and Nazia are exceptional hosts, warm, informative and attentive to detail. Michael is very knowledgeable about all the museums/architecture/history/ restaurants that Bruges has to offer and eager to share. The breakfasts included in our stay were delicious and the offerings plentiful. We can’t emphasize enough how your hosts can enhance your trip away from home, and Michael and Nazia definitely succeed in those efforts, they are warm, open hearted people that we won’t forget. It was an extra bonus to feel the heartbeat of their family, young children in the midst, who were an absolute delight! Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. Highly recommended!

We stayed in the Rembrandt room and the room is just exceptional. Comfortable beds, relaxing living room and with the windows opened we get a nice breeze and sounds of birds outside the back garden. After a long day of walking, soaking in the huge bathtub was a pleasant treat. Michael is a wonderful host, gave us plenty of recommendations on tourist spots and where to go for meals. The breakfasts were so good, plenty of options to choose from. We had at great time staying at B&B Huis ‘T Schaep and definitely coming back to stay here in the future.
Nothing!

The property was in an excellent location, about 10 minutes walk from the train station and a short walk to the centre of Bruges. Our host, Michael, was extremely helpful, responsive, and accommodating. He gave us many recommendations for places to go and good restaurants in the area. Our room was exceptional: it was extremely spacious, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. If we could give this place 6 stars, we would. Thank you Michael for a very special experience staying in your property.
Nothing. Wish we had stayed longer!

Michael was the most amazing host - calling us en route to make sure we could find the place, which is very easy from the Zand underground car park - recommending excellent places to east that were open late in the evening - and even arranging a birthday surprise! (Thanks!) The room (Coucke Suite) was amazing - with a stained glass window of the pope in the bathroom. The location is great - central, but quiet. And the breakfast was fabulous. Highly recommended.
Nothing - all perfect! We'll be back!

The breakfast was outstanding and no wishes were left open. Michael and his wife are hosts to remember (in the best possible way) and we had the best of time. Michael was also making many suggestions of places we could visit and have dinner at (would even book us a table). The terrace is also beautiful and the rooms are super clean. Water, coffee and tea is provided and the historical atmosphere of the house in incredible. We will certainly come back and highly recommend this place.

This is a top-tier B&B with a very personal touch. Micheal checked us in, carried our luggage up the stairs to our room and provided extensive information about Bruges sights, restaurants etc. He also made restaurant and taxi bookings for us. The entire premises is beautiful and exquisitely decorated, and our room was very large (enormous by European B&B standards) with a king sized 4 poster bed, an occasional table and two chairs, a lounge and two wardrobes. There were good coffee and tea-making facilities but no mini-bar or small fridge. The attached private bathroom had a large footed bath and a spacious shower area. The room heating was very effective and everything was a delight, with one small issue which I'll detail below. The breakfast was sumptuous and beautifully prepared, and the breakfast room itself was a feast for the eyes.
The television was an old 4:3 format monitor of about 40cm size. Either the screen was not working correctly or the connection to the set-top box was faulty, because the picture was a dull green colour, dark and very hard to watch. I suspect the screen was simply worn out. We only used it for a few minutes to watch the news one evening so it did not bother us, but you could not have watched a movie. Considering how well appointed the room was in every other respect it was very strange that such a poor TV was provided, and this is one thing that I think should be remedied immediately. I have still given the B&B 10/10 because all the great aspects far outweigh this one issue, so this is more a heads-up for the management than a criticism.

This is a heritage property with a level of warmth and personalization in hospitality, which is rarely seen in this part of the world. The hosts and their hospitality makes this place truly magical. He was kind enough to offer us a room upgrade and then gave us a detailed overview of Bruges including self guided walking & cycling routes and restaurant recommendations. The breakfast is quite phenomenal as well and served with love! Will be back again for sure !
