+ Friendly and welcoming service at the reception: special thank you for that + Great central, but quite and pleasant location: loved it + Small and simple but nice room with comfortable bed + Clean bathroom, nice warm shower + WiFi - Ok + Really nice breakfast with different options of bread, eggs, cheese, ham, muesli, joghurts, fruits, jams, coffee/tea/juices.

- Please put up a couple of hooks in the bathroom: it's a bit difficult for two people to hang up their towels at the moment. - There were construction works on our floor of the hotel during our stay. It would be great to have them paused for time from 14:00 to 16:00 as a quite-hour option, so that additional sounds would not bother people during middle-of-the-day break :)

Location very handy. 10 minutes walk from main square. And 10 minutes or 1 stop on the bus from the central station. Staff very helpful, especially the tanned blond lady with glasses (I think she's a manager). She printed my train ticket and boarding pass for my flight home. Bed comfortable too. Breakfast was nice and filling before travelling.

After my fantastic time in Bruges, and great help from staff, it hurts me to say, weather can determine quality of stay, and this happened to me. And I will admit this is harsh, given that Bruges is pretty much all centuries old buildings, however, the 30 degree heat was a nightmare and room had no air conditioning. I had to douse myself in cold water before sleeping. And it was too noisy outside to sleep with the window open. Any other time of year, the room would have been lovely. Also, I had to climb 2 flights of narrow stairs to get to the room. No problem for me but not suitable for large/old/disabled people. And the bathroom sink was blocked (I reported this, this was a widespread issue with the heat).

location is perfect, as the huge car park underground is directly below. friendly staff who were happy to help. Rooms were clean. This is the same room I booked 10 years ago when the fire occurred, and was pleasantly surprised that it had cleaned up well, my last view was when i had to rescue my motorbike gear accompanied by the fire brigade.

Rooms had not been finally decorated, window woodwork only in primer paint and not finished. TV mounted by one screw onto wall, other screw left hanging out of wall bracket (all room 203)

April 2023

I stayed at this hotel for a day prior to my cruise and was hoping that it would be a cheap little hotel that would let me store my luggage. I arrived on a coach bus at about 7 in the morning, and knowing that the check in time said that it was around 2:30- I thought that I would be lugging around my heavy backpack around the town squares. But lo and behold', the nice receptionist at the counter gave me a free upgrade to a superior double room to accommodate me: and I could take a shower and explore the town without a backpack around 8 in the morning. The room itself was fantastic- it did not smell, it gave me a modern bathroom with a bathtub, and a splendid, very comfy double bed with clean floors and a cozy attic atmosphere without making it feel poor. As I stayed there for only a night- I did not bother fixing the small issues. Therefore, I thought it was worth the money and time for a very comfortable trip.

It was a small issue: but the TV in the room was not connected to any satellite so I couldn't watch any TV. But I am pretty sure it was a small mistake and would have gotten it fixed if I stayed longer. WiFi was a little slow but I could still do everything I wanted. Also be a little careful with some of the doorknobs, switches or buttons. They are kind of old and may require some gentleness to use.

Location was perfect. We were in an annex building looking over a small quiet street. Room clean and as described.

Coming from NZ where you’d be hard pressed to find a place that doesn’t have a fridge or kettle in room, it’s just standard. This is something to be aware of. Room doesn’t claim to have it, but we have been caught out most places we’ve stayed in Europe (we hadn’t thought to check). The other thing to be aware of is that the city is very hot in August and although the room had a small fan and large window, the city absorbs and retains the heat (being 99% stone & concrete) so they hardly make a difference. Looked to have solid heating options, so a better choice in the winter.

Buffet breakfast with quite a good range of items The hotel is situated close to some very good cafes which were also visited

Overall satisfactory , however one or two fittings not quite functional, plug missing in pedestal sink, one of the lights adjacent to the bed not working spare heaters in the room and bathroom . . (were the installed radiators not functional?)

Super friendly and helpful staff who also looked after my luggage as I arrived before check-in time. I was also upgraded to a larger room which was a very nice surprise. The room itself was extremely comfortable and spacious with ample amenities provided. The hotel is in a good location for an easy walk from the main train station, and a 15ish minute walk to the city centre. The neighbourhood was safe to explore as a solo female traveller.

An electric kettle or even a microwave or small fridge would be a great addition. Depending on which room you stay in guests should be careful not to bump their heads on the sloping roofs.

Location, welcome from reception who provided us with map and pointed out places of interest. Room had a balcony which was a bonus and size of room for Europe was above expectation. The shower was hot and good pressure. Bed and pillows suited us.

Can’t fault what we experienced. We extended our stay once we saw the location of the hotel and our room.

Comfy bed, great location. 2min for the parking lot and 10minutes from the historical center. Central bus station near by. Hotel have an elevator in one building, not in the second but they are careful (apparently it is two building).

The noise, a redo (paint / floor), and the price of the parking. It is a public parking, so close to the hotel. Underground, perfect ! Unfortunately, they did not give me the right price so I was surprised (they told me approx. 6euros for 24hours but it was 15euros). Correct but not what they communicated.
