Great location. Bruges is not a big city, but hotel is close to major sightseeing points and about 10 minutes walking from train station. Room was clean and recently renovated. Unlike some of the other reviews, our room had a door to the bathroom. Staff was excellent and courteous as well.

No comments, stay met and exceeded our expectations. However, some rooms are immediately above bars and terraces... I could see how in the heat of summer it may get noisy if you have the windows open. Note that this was not our case, our stay was 👍

Location, staff, cleanliness Excellent modern feel to the rooms that have been recently modernised. Breakfast good selection and nice offering of fresh fruits. They try very hard to accommodate, would go back and stay again.

No bathroom door so bedroom gets hot/ Steamy with shower running, and limited privacy with no door. & no extractor fan or bathroom towel rails. Noise from street shops opposite. Very disappointed no kettle in room to make own drinks, No Air Conditioning, room heats up quickly.

The instructions provided by Booking.com to reach the parking, were very clear. It was easy to go into the parking and to reach the hotel. It was nice to be in the center of the historic town. We could walk around safely till late at night and return to our hotel room easily. We enjoyed doing a walk around Brugge the next day and to do a boat trip on the canals. .

The location is good in the sense that it is right in the heart of the historic town. However, the area is quite noisy. There was noise till far into the early hours of the morning. So unfortunately, I did not sleep so well. We had booked a room for 60 Euro. When we arrived at Lace hotel, we found out that the room we had booked, was very basic and it was on the 4th floor. The lady at reception immediately offered us a much better room on 1st floor, which had a small balcony, and 2 comfortable armchairs, a small desk, and a nice bathroom. So we paid Euro 20 per night extra for a better room. The room did not have a kettle / facilities to make tea or coffee. It would have been nice to be able to make some tea or coffee in the room late at night and / or early in the morning.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, the room was comfortable, although outdated. The days we visited had high temperatures and there is no AC, however, there was a fan in the room which helped the situation quite a bit. The hotel staff is very hospitable and friendly. We were able to leave our bags in the hotel when we arrived earlier than the check-in. NB! When booking this hotel have in mind the street corner the hotel is located is quite noisy at night - we knew what to expect, so it did not bother us.

Hotel seemed to be renovated lately, it was clean and nice. Photos on tripadvisor scared me but that was not the reality at all. Room looks like on booking.com images. Breakfast was good, fresh baked pastries, fruits, vegetables, etc… overall good value for money and great location.

Would not be my choice for longer stay, the mattress was a bit too soft and moving left and right on the frame

Very clean rooms, comfortable bed , conveniently located right in town - close to everything, restaurants downstairs- excellent customer service very friendly and helpful- highly recommended- organised a taxi for us to catch our train as well. Also had a fan which was a bonus in this heatwave.

The location is great. Majority of the room is renovated, bed was good.

The shower and toilet is little bit old and tight, however eveything was nice and clean. I didn't might these.

The location of this property was amazing. You were downtown within minutes. Lots of places to eat around the hotel.

The queen bed was two twin mattresses put together. As such, we found the mattresses would slide apart and you would have a hole in the middle of the bed.

Reception closed at 9pm so we had troubles getting in but they did answer the phone straight away which is good. The other downside is that the bathrooms don’t have doors on them so there is no privacy.

.The receptionist (we guess it was the owner) was so kind and amiable with us. He let us left the bags before the check in so we didn't have to wander around carrying weights. The room was great and the bed so comfortable.

The toilet, although it was nice and served the purpose perfectly was kind of attached to one corner of the room and felt at least "different" from what we are used to find in a hotel.
