Beautiful, clean, quiet, welcoming, functional. We arrived at this hotel after a pleasant walk from the station, but I saw buses passing in front, so it must be possible to get there by bus too. We were welcomed professionally and everything went smoothly. Nice place, very clean and welcoming, with a cozy bar room, a garden and a shed for the bikes hosts can rent. A nice alternative to being in the busy center, which is just a pleasant walk away

Breakfast was great, but the tables in the breakfast room were a little too close, it was difficult to move to and from the main table

A pleasant experience. One of the significant pros was the reasonable price of the hotel, making it an excellent option for budget-conscious travelers. The hotel's location was also very convenient, as it was situated near the central area of medieval Bruges, allowing easy access to popular attractions and amenities. One standout advantage was the availability of free parking at the hotel. Another positive aspect was the quality of the breakfast. The hotel offered a good breakfast spread, providing various options for different tastes and dietary preferences. Starting the day with a satisfying breakfast was a great way to kick off a day of exploring Bruges. The staff at the hotel were friendly and accommodating. They were welcoming upon arrival and readily available to assist with any inquiries or requests throughout my stay. Their warm and helpful demeanor added to the overall positive experience.

However, one minor drawback was the size of the bathroom in the room. It was on the smaller side, which could be a bit cramped for those who prefer more space or have specific accessibility needs. While this may not be a deal-breaker for everyone, it's worth considering if bathroom size is a priority for you.

Hotel Olympia is a wonderful, local hotel. I is in a quiet suburb about a 15 minute walk from the train station and a 20-25 minute walk to Bruges center. We like being out of the central city centers to experience some nice local facilities. The restaurant recommended by front desk staff was wonderful; small, only locals, and delicious! Our room was small (we paid for a smaller room because it fit in our budget), but neat and clean. Daily room service. The breakfast was very good; juices, breads, meats & cheeses, fruit, eggs & bacon, and sweets. Cava was also available!

Breakfast was good and all items were replenished regularly. Location is ideal for us as we are happy to walk to the city centre, but as we arrive by car, parking is now uncertain since the car park in the adjacent street (Abdijbekestraat) is no longer usable.

The refurbished showers are difficult to use without flooding the entire bathroom floor. A hospitality tray (ie kettle and tea/coffee making items) in the bedrooms would definitely increase the enjoyment of our stay. Net curtains in our room were torn and need replacing.

lovely cosy hotel, plenty of free parking. Had breakfast one day and it was fresh, plentiful and tasty. staff were friendly and welcoming. Bed was very comfortable and room was warm especially as it was bitterly cold and snowy. Shower hot and powerful. Peaceful residential location, lovely bar area.

Thrre was nothing we didn't like but the location (15-20 min walk into town) whilst pleasant meant it wasn't close enough to pop back for any reason. No tea making facilities in room which is always a disapointment, however i had checked the room facilities before we came so bought my travel kettle. Room was a bit basic and lacked decor.

Clean. Very helpful, friendly staff. Small bar area. Easy walk to city centre 2 supermarkets a short walk in opposite direction to city centre for anything you might need

No tea making facilities in room (guess I knew this when I booked) Parking slightly problematic (need blue disc - which allows up to 4 hours I think- from hotel to park on roadside if there are no free spaces just down the road in the parking area) Room was cold on arrival. Think they turn the heating off during the day. Beware the shower! Soaked the whole bathroom floor and also the loo roll which was near shower opening- design defect🤦‍♀️

The location was great, not too far from the city centre, free parking down the road. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel itself had pleasant decor and was clean and tidy. I would recommend the hotel to others and stay here again.

My only minor gripe was the cost of the breakfast. I found it a bit excessive. We stayed more than one night so would've appreciated a complimentary refill of water / fresh bottle for the second day / night, as there aren't any drinks making facilities in the room.

Directions from the station to the hotel were promptly sent and accurate. This was a big help as I was walking from the station. The hotel is in a suburb so was very quiet. It is only 15mins from the town in one direction and another 15mins from the station in another. The room was big with a comfortable bed and plenty of cushions. The bathroom was modern. It seemed small until I found I could swing the shower panel. Breakfast was varied and delicious with a good view of the area.

Everything was perfect for me

Quiet location just outside the main city centre. Staff very helpful and friendly. Cleanliness was excellent everywhere. Very good breakfast on first floor which was nice so you could see out of the windows to local life going on around. Walkable to city centre and train and bus stations.

A fairly small hotel with a great personality! Ideal location - peaceful but only 15 min walk to the centre/train station, free parking nearby and bicycles for hire. Rooms good size and clean. Breakfast was good. Best of all you are made so welcome. I trawled through a lot of hotels and definitely made a great choice. Thank you.
