The warm welcome we received from Brigitte. Our room was clean & comfortable. The beds were very good. The ensuite shower room was well planned with plenty of hot water. It was good to be able to open the window & we had a fan as when we arrived ,it was hot & muggy.Brigitte supplied us with a local map & gave a couple of recommendations for an evening meal.The place we went to was the Spuitened Duvel, an old established auberge a street away. A friendly, traditional lively, popular establishment. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast & conversation with Brigitte who enlightened us about Flemish / Walloon culture & history.She treated us to a tour of her lovely, tranquil & enchanting garden.

A non slip shower tray mat would be a useful safety edition.

This BB experience was like staying with friends. Brigitte and Alain are extremely welcoming and always happy to help. The BB is small - just two rooms and we all had breakfast together. If you look for a family like stay go for it. The BB is situated approx 30 mins by bus (no need to change lines) from the city center and the bus stop is virtually in front of it.

Brigitte was an extremely kind and welcoming host and it was lovely to get to know her a bit. We really appreciated being able to enjoy the garden for lunch. The location is lovely - in a quiet street with a lot of green areas, public transport and a delicious bakery right next door.

The room is nice and well organised, perhaps a little small - we didn't have much space for our suitcase.

Brigitte and Alain were fantastic hosts. they provided us with maps to visit town and were extremely helpful The breakfast was wonderful and included local specialties made in the local bakery The room was very clean and had excellent facilities The location is perfect with easy access to trains, buses and the tram to get into Brussels

Very friendly host and location is very convenient, feels safe, with a good choice of nearby restaurants that I found very good. The place is scrupulously clean and quiet. Communications from host were perfect.

Everything was good, an improvement could be made by towels and pillows being updated - these would be nice a bit softer and larger.

Such a nice place,with very kind people. Cozy, friendly and Brigitte and Alain always have a smile on their face,a kind word, great hints where to go,what to do. First time I was there but hopefully not the last one . Well situated,quiet, clean etc... I can warmly recommend this place and the friendly hosts

We did not meet Alain, he was at work, but Brigitte was very attentive, she advised us on many things Brussels: how to go around, what museums are interesting, restaurants, places of interest and answered other questions tourists have. We were in friendly home, and it mattered.

We were ok with the high stairs to our room, but for some people it may be a serious inconvenience.

Very nice location, boulangerie & bus station nearby, 30 minutes by bus from Grand Place. Brigitte made our stay very pleasant. We felt like home😄!

Not the case

Very cozy and comfortable room. Close the the Forest National venue as we were attending a concert. There was a small problem where breakfast wasn’t available but we were contacted about that in advance and reimbursed so no problem at all!

Everything was amazing! Especially the breakfast. It felt like sitting with the family at the breakfast table.
