The property was very quirky and modern. The lives that it had a swimming pool due to the heat and the rooftop bar was very good. The rooms were comfortable though could have done with some proper furniture for sitting rather than the bean bag! A coffee table and small sofa would be far better in the rooms we had.

The bean bags were poor for the rooms we had - I would have normally expected a small coffee table and sofa in the deluxe rooms for an extra area to relax. Some of the staff we encountered weren’t always the friendliest also which was disappointing after the lady who checked us in was extremely friendly and polite.

Really liked this hotel, friendly people, nice and clean. The pool at the top with view was amazing and they had music and drinks in the upstairs bar. We had an electrical storm while sitting up there which was fantastic to see. The only negative was the breakfast in the morning was nearly just as much as the overnight accommodation. A good walk into the main town took around 40 minutes for us and the food there was amazing. Great introduction to Bulgaria.

As mentioned above the only negative is the price of breakfast was nearly just as much as the accommodation and the scrambled eggs were cold. We had a great coffee and tea however and the staff went out of their way to find a green tea for me.

This hotel has the most perfect hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. Everything appears to be brand new and it has alot of space plus very clean. The bed is extremely comfortable also the sir conditioningbis perfect. The only thing I would prefer is a flexible shower hose which there is only the overhead one. The rooftop bar has a nice view for coffee. The restaurant and coffee shop is nice on the ground level also. I was able to park inside the grounds of the hotel. I decided to walk to Vitosha Blvd. and the NDK this took around 35 minutes.

Liked the bar and pool area. Classy feel, comfortable place to relax. Staff friendly, most speaking great English.

Couldn’t figure out the AC. Would put it down to 16° just to cool it down faster but it would put itself back to 20° - didn’t ask for help. Asked for a cocktail - very standard, classic cocktail worldwide and was refused, even being told - we only make good cocktails. If you have the alcohol to make something a customer has asked for (which, they did), why not just make it?

Overall, a very pleasant experience! The staff was extremely friendly and always ready to assist. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of fresh options. The price was very reasonable for the services provided. The rooms were spacious and comfortable; our room was fine, but some friends mentioned a slight smell from the plumbing in their room. Unfortunately, we couldn’t enjoy the rooftop as it was reserved for a wedding. Still, we had a great stay and would recommend it!”

Great room, super staff, availability of charging station for carshare spark. Really a bit expensive and it's not usual. But I booked the room on black Friday so it was fine.

I did not like that there was no shower head in the shower, but only a rain shower and there was no refrigerator in the room, which was indicated in the room description ob bookind.com. But I overlooked the information about the refrigerator, so we drank beer at room temperature. There is a bar on the 9th floor, but no draft beer there.

Friendly staff, the room was really nice and clean, breakfast was very good. It was a very nice surprise that there was a fridge in the room! At first it seemed like there wasn't that much to do around this location but it turned out that there were lots of nice restaurants, a huge park, a market, all within walking distance. We could have spent a lot more time here. We were really glad that we chose this hotel for our stay in Sofia.

The bathroom would have been more comfortable to use if there was a towel or bath mat for the floor, and a hook by the sink for the hand towel.

This place is amazing. Great concept with the cooking academy, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are very clean with modern equipment. Excellent bedding as well, functional and not noisy at all AC. The rooftop bar has an incredible selection of cocktails and drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Breakfast is of great quality with minute made eggs (you get to choose between scrambled, omelet and “au plat”) and delicious homemade bread + viennoiseries (as said, your baker is talented!). Last but not least, the swimming pool with view all over the city and mountains. What else would you like? The tram station is literally in front of the building and brings you in the center in less than 10 minutes. We will be back, best hotel experience I had in a while. Great value for the money too.

Kitchen59 has been one of our favourite stays. The hotel staff is very attentive and our room was clean and comfortable. We loved the design of the hotel and the care of every detail, and we really appreciated the commitment to sustainability of the organisation and the collaboration project with the nearby cooking school. Highly recommended also the rooftop bar where you can have lovely cocktails while enjoying great views of the city. We will certainly be back!
