I booked the hotel after seeing it being outstandingly rated and therefore had high expectations. Having concluded my stay of 3 nights, I must say that this is best hotel I have been to in Cambodia/Siem Reap (visited 3 times, stayed in 5 different hotels). It started off with a warm welcome when arriving (fresh coconut, introduction to the team), followed-up by an explanation of their services and offerings (just to name a few which where free of charge: 1 day laundry service, 1-way Tuktuk rides to the city, wine and mini bar on arrival). The room was very clean (which I put a strong emphasis on) and the pool was spacious. They were always on call and happy to help with any inquiries with a positive can do attitude. I initially booked for 2 nights but immediately extended my stay after my first day. A huge thank you to the entire team at Anansaya! Patrick

Everything was perfect

Overall, it was a very good experience in a luxurious hôtel not run by à big chain, but a local with the owner trying everything to make our experience perfect. Massages were very good. Room was very nice and big.

Small issue with probably the drinking water from the refillable water bottles provided in the room leading to food poisoning. However, the staff was very kind, and the owner was very responsive, offering us to bring us to the hospital at any time and checking on my wife. Breakfast and Western food on the menu could be improved. The butter was a bit disappointing, and so was the bread and cheese. Staff should be a bit less visible and not walk around the pool constantly. It is difficult to relax if someone is walking in front of you so much.

I booked this hotel as a treat to myself after reading the reviews on Booking.com and TripAdvisor. When I arrived it felt like I knew already all the staff and that all of them were my friends. Greeted with a cold towel and a whole coconut, I knew this was going to be special. Bin, Mai, May (the manager) and David (the owner) all gave me a warm welcome and made sure that I was aware that my every need would be taken care of. I was accompanied to my room, which was a large suite on the second floor, and I was told that laundry service and minibar were all complimentary. Plus, a fruit plate and a bottle of red wine from Spain were prepared for me, of course free of charge. The bed was the most comfortable I ever had and having different pillows on the bed meant I could choose the right one for me. The shower was so big you can fit 6 people in there and the concrete bath tub was enormous. I was in love with this place. I went to the restaurant where I was greeted by Liptong and Dinah, two amazing guys who know their trade and treated me with both professionalism and friendliness. Food and cocktails were of the highest standards. I ate here many times but it’s good to head into town for some variety. A tuk tuk ride from their fleet is free to go into town and only $3 to go back to the hotel. I also used their massage and spa services twice, and although not cheap it’s super convenient as you can just wear your bath robe and head back to your room and relax. Oh, and did I mention the double pool. I’m not one to sit by the pool but this was different, it’s like it calls you. I went for many dips and it’s just perfect. What else can I say, this place is perfectly located half way from the noisy city centre and the temples of Angkor. I would rate this place 7 stars if I could.

The rooms are stunning,the grounds impeccable, the amenities are outstanding, and the restaurant food is superb. What makes this hotel so incredible was the staff. We have traveled to many countries all over the world, and I can honestly say that we have never felt as welcome as we did at Anansaya. Binn,Mei, and the entire staff went beyond the norm to ensure that we were looked after. We really can't speak highly enough about them all. We will miss their smiling faces,their gentleness, and genuine care and concern towards all their guests.. Even the owner of the hotel came from his home to welcome us when we arrived. Don't miss this opportunity to stay at this gem of a hotel. We will be back...because it's like home now

5-stars isn’t enough to describe this hotel! First of all - we have visited a 28/30 countries with my wife and a lot of hotels. Some of them was expensive, but Anansaya is the first hotel who really cares about their customers and reputation! Firstly free airport transfer with hotel management, who are very friendly and kind! Next we found in a room a complimentary Italian wine (cabernet sauvignon). Thats a big step to increase their reputation!🤗 Also every day their owner and staff has talked with us and other guests. Friendly positive talks and caring about guest’s comfort! Also, at 2nd day they do a surprise and make a bath with flowers for us! Absolutely free! Thats cute and appreciated! Restaurant food is very tasty! Salads, pastas, meat, fish, soups, burgers! Also local food. Very nice choice of tasty foods! The hotel was re-opened 1 month ago and it freshly renewed! New owner and big care about reputation are works well! 👏

Complimentary airport pickup was accompanied by the owner himself. A complimentary bottle of wine in each room and offer of free laundry to welcome us was beyond expectation. Gave us nice arrangements for visit to Angkor Wat for 2 days. Cosy small boutique type of hotel with courteous staff. Had good breakfast.

A couple of rooms had no bathroom doors and bathroom falls in line with main door, so problem if someone knocks. At least a curtain would ensure privacy.

The hotel is nicely located, very closed to Angkor temples. The rooms are amazing, nice designed, good size and very clean. All the staff is so nice and considerable, they were very supportive in all manners, be it food, transportation or tour recommendations. The owner super nice as well and helped us out in every situation. We will definitely come back to Anansaya La Maison.

The smiles and hospitality of the staff are more than what you pay for. The airport transfers, the cold towels that are always available, the wonderful welcome drink, the complimentary laundry service, and the flexible attitude to our requests are just a few of the things that I like about this hotel!! Mai, the manager, arranged a wonderful Angkor Wat tour for us, despite our sudden request. Thanks to his arrangement, after watching the sunrise at Angkor Wat, we could return to the hotel once by tuk tuk and had a fresh breakfast made on the spot instead of a buffet. (We loved it!) This is something you can't do on other tours. Sinet, our guide, was excellent. His flawless English explanations helped us to better understand the Angkor Wat sites and history. His photography skills were also excellent. Also, our tuk tuk driver Sarath was waiting for us with cold towels and water at each site. Thanks to all hotel staffers, we had a wonderful Cambodia and Angkor Wat memories!

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in, in regards to service. The team here, headed by Binn is absolutely amazing. They are efficient, caring and such a great host. I can't praise this team enough. They made sure everything was seamless! I've stayed in the best hotels in the world for work, but this boutique hotel beats them all in regards to service. The rooms were so spacious, modern and the beds were super comfortable.. breakfast was also freshly cooked a la carte and to order. The drop off and pick up compliments service was just amazingly efficient and made it such an easy holiday. We also got a fresh coconut drink at pickup from the airport. The team had cold towels every time we arrived back from excursions too. There was such exceptional attention to service. The hotel is also so close to the center (pub street) and the one of the closest to the temples. They had complimentary rides to the center (which is walkable really). Such outstanding service. Well done guys, we will be coming back with family.
