We really enjoyed the attentive service. It's all the little details and the attention you receive during your stay. There was support for every question and everything happened calmly and somehow as a matter of course. Many thanks to the whole team. We booked the day tour for the temples directly through the hotel. Naka, our tour guide, gave us a fascinating insight into the history and lots of background information on our sightseeing tour. You could feel her enthusiasm to show us the wonderful places and she was very flexible in organising the tour. The hotel's TukTuk driver drove us safely throughout the day. We can only recommend the day trip with sunrise.

What a fabulous boutique hotel. Service, facilities, food and overall experience was top notch. I especially liked the hotel ethos of supporting local Cambodians working in the hotel; ensuring they all had English lessons, healthcare and decent wages.

The only thing I wished was different was the roof top bar, which could have had a bit more atmosphere.

From the moment we were greeted at the airport- we felt we were met by family. Our driver provided us with cold towels, fresh fruit and water and stopped en route to buy fresh coconuts in a cool air conditioned comfortable car. We were met with warmth and kindness by the manager and had a lovely check-in experience in the roof terrace overlooking sunset with cold drinks. The rooms were wonderful- very comfortable and roomy, with all the thoughtful touches. There were excellent amenities, we had outstanding dinner and breakfasts in the restaurant on site (I was pleasantly surprised with the food and service)- with lots of options for my vegetarian/vegan family. As we were celebrating two birthdays, we were greeted with bouquets of flowers the next morning, treats and were provided with excellent support in arranging our sightseeing trip to Angkor Wat for the day with an excellent local guide. The driver went the extra mile in helping us with an emergency trip to the dentist (unplanned!) and we benefitted from having free local transfers around the area as well as a free laundry service. The complimentary massages were fantastic and our only regret was that we stayed for such little time- it truly felt like paradise in Cambodia. We have not stopped singing the praises of the staff, the facilities and the thoughtful touches which truly show off the hotel and its commitment to sustainability and supporting local artisans. We can't recommend it enough- thank you for an outstanding stay and for making our trip so memorable!

One of the rare occasions I can say- nothing to improve on. Outstanding!

Jaya House was a fantastic place to stay from the moment we arrived till the time we had to head home. It was so welcoming and inviting from the moment we got to the entrance. The staff were always on hand when returning from trips to provide hand sanitizer and refreshing cold towels (beautifully and naturally scented) before we headed off to our amazing room overlooking an internal courtyard pool. The trees and plants surrounding the walkways and property made it seem like we were hidden away from the outside world - which we were! And yet the house was conveniently located close to restaurants and attractions. The room had excellent facilities, including faultless wifi, and the staff kept it super clean throughout our stay. Breakfast was amazing. There was an incredible choice of local and more western dishes available, along with fresh juices and smoothies. It all tasted superb. Vegetarians and vegans had plenty of options - we tried all of them and they were all excellent. There were also Jaya House tuk tuks on hand to take use anywhere you wanted to go during our stay. Without doubt, the best thing about Jaya House is the staff. They are all so incredibly helpful and perform their various roles with a smile. We had exceptional service during our stay and I can’t thank them enough for making our holiday so special. We hope to be back!

There was nothing not to like!

As many reviewers have stated its service is in a different league. One hasn’t been to a hotel (boutique or large) where every staff member is on 24X7 alert to meet your needs proactively. It’s certainly special. Then there are the freebies - daily massage, free laundry, pool open 24 hours, tuk tuk and a phone to call them when needed. The breakfast a la carte freshly made options offer a wide range and are tasty. What’s not to like! And the sustainability story with 95% plastic free premises. A water bottle (Refill no landfill) keeps you hydrated wherever. The rooms are spacious and the bed / pillows comfortable. Christian runs a customer focused place and it shows.

This is a free trip with my mother who is close to 70 years old. I didn't prepare much for the trip, and I'm not good at English. It was important to see the 7 wonders of the world, but it was the most important thing for me to have a comfortable trip for my mother. Jaya House is a great place to stay. If it was a trip with friends, I wouldn't have to ask for such an unreasonable request, but even when our room wasn't ready, they provided a comfortable place to rest, so my mother didn't have to suffer outside in the scorching heat. During our stay, we provided attentive service to make our stay as comfortable and satisfying as possible. It was difficult to get around by tuk-tuk because I couldn't install the pass app, but I really appreciated the kind tuk-tuk drivers provided by the hotel. Jaya House was able to wrap up my wonderful trip in Cambodia by taking care of me so that I could stay and leave comfortably even on the day I left. The neat rooms and well-maintained garden are beautiful, and the two swimming pools, each with its own charm, are also wonderful. The sunset from the rooftop was also nice. Thank you to the hotel for making it a great trip.

We booked after having read all of the outstanding reviews. Well, we can now confirm everything is as amazing as stated. We have travelled extensively and stayed in many high-end hotels, with exceptional facilities and staff. Jayu River Park is right up there with the best. We were treated like royalty from the minute we were greeted at the airport to the minute we left. Christian, the manager, has assembled a fantastic, dedicated team who know how to take customer service to the next level. This was even confirmed to me by someone we met in town who used to work there. She told me that Cristian has a talent for recruiting a team that are fantastic to work with. Well done to all of the staff from the ones we met at mealtimes, the spa staff, the lady who cleans around the pool everyday, the lady who sits patiently creating the lotus flower decorations everywhere around the boutique hotel, the gardeners who work so hard to keep the place beautiful. The guy who delivers the laundry, the guys who do the rooms and turndown service. The reception staff and the drivers and managers. You all work in the most unobtrusive, dedicated, and discreet way to make our stay something to be remembered. You are all amazing people with the most beautiful smiles, which makes an enormous difference to the feel of a place. And I am sure they were all very genuine. Another thing to mention is that if you are environmentally aware, this hotel goes the extra mile to reduce plastic waste and other initiatives and is encouraging other hotels to do the same. I treasure my insulated water bottle as a reminder. There is a dedication to making a difference to the local community from this hotel, and that means a lot. I spoke to another guest who visits every year to help the local community by building houses for families. The people in Cambodia have been through some terrible times (pol pot), but they remain beautiful, kind smiling helpful people.

Everything was perfect

First to say that because of my job ,my wife and I have traveled the world and stayed in great hotels ,but this one is way above. Christian,the manager,was very helpfull beyond the expected.The personnel all know your name and are extra kind and with heartfull smiles .A la carte all included breakfast,all delicious. Downtown location with free hotel tuck tuck to/from anywhere in town.Very close to all local atractions. All in minibar included,also included a massage,probably the best my wife and I ever had Room very large and tastefully decorated. Another detail,everytime you go out ,they spray you with a very nice smelling anti-mosquito spray locally produced for the hotel to help town economy Wonderfull experience all in all.

A wonderful hotel! The warmth of the service and genuine hospitality from all the staff was remarkable from the moment we were met at the airport and throughout our stay. As Christian said to us when he greeted us at the hotel “we do things differently here”. This was as far from a typical “corporately run hotel” as it is possible to be - very high standards throughout but delivered in a personal and thoughtful way. The staff all keep the hotel spotless but a special mansion to Samnang for how immaculately he maintains the public areas. The hotel has a strong environmental focus (no single use plastic) uses local products wherever possible and has many initiatives to support the local population. We would love to return.
