Great large room, very comfortable bed, well situated about 10-15 walk from shops and restaurants. Excellent on-site free secure underground parking. On the whole friendly helpful staff

Bathroom on the small side. Having seen all the comments about friendly staff on arrival this was not the case. The gentleman who checked me in was unsmiling unwelcoming and unfriendly. A short while later on making an enquiry to the same gentleman, he was extremely rude to the point that whilst still talking still he blanked us and returned to his work on the PC, we’re quite shocked! We had no complaints about the staff the rest of the time

It was convenient that the Shuttle bus we booked had the Inn on their list of drop off and pick up locations. Good size room for 2 of us. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff made our stay enjoyable. The view from our window was amazing and we loved the spa, sauna and steam room facility. We frequently ate dinner at the restaurant, it was ok and reasonably priced. Loved the pillows here. :)

That I didn't know there was a TV showing videos of attractions you could attend while staying near reception. I wish staff would have reminded us to check out that area with all the pamphlets for attractions and maybe gave us some suggestions and options of what we could see while on our stay for x amount of nights/days.

I arrived early and the room was ready to check in. Since I'd arrived earlier in the day there were plenty of underground parking spots and an elevator taking you directly to the floor. The room was spacious, clean, quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The location is a 15 minute walk to the downtown core and only a 5 minute walk to a great coffee & lunch spot, Whitebark Cafe. Very easily accessible by car from the Calgary airport (1.40hrs) and also to all shuttle buses to tour the areas if you don't have a car (or chose not to drive - which is actually better since parking at the Lakes is a nightmare!)

The reception staff weren't knowledgeable for simple details about popular activities, such as easy hiking trails at Moraine Lake or Lake Louise (were there options available for shorter treks, what is parking like at these locations, information about the Roam shuttle services to these destinations (costs, reservations, etc)), or even suggestions about good restaurants to try for dinner. I think many of the staff were recent hires and likely all staff could benefit from a quick sit in session with the Tourist Information Centre for FAQs and a general overview of the town and surrounding areas.

Room was super clean, shower was a nice set up, bed was decently comfy, location was just a walk away from retail stores, underground parking still fit my vehicle and was nice instead of outdoor parking, room was cheaper not sure if off season or normally less than others in area due to a bit more of a walking distance.

The front drive way to park and check in was way to small on the exit side for my stock non lifted truck was tricky getting out without damage, restaruant was ok but over deep fried fish and poutine was not the best West of Montreal as advertised still not bad though.

This inn was cozy and comfortable. We loved the spa, steam, and sauna rooms they offered us. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend staying here if you’re happy to walk 15mins, would be all good in summer, just not in the conditions we had! Buses leave from one hotel over so the location is great for shuttles and busses into town. The ski shuttles also leave from just outside so it's easy to get around.

We were able to hear children in another room and their parents yelling but up until they checked in we couldn't hear other guests. This hotel doesn't offer breakfast which would've been helpful if they had. I Pillows were not great.

Excellent value, would absolutely stay again. Room size was great, lots of space to dry out gear after a day on the slopes. Underground heated parking was so appreciated. Literally across the street from the shuttles to the hills.

If proximity to restaurants is important, keep in mind it is about a 15-20min walk to the true downtown area. Also I wish the hot tub area had some more ventilation.. it felt very musty. A microwave in the room would be a nice addition!

The staff when I checked in was very pleasant and helpful even though it was very late and I was quite tired. My room was very beautiful and spacious overall although the bathroom was a bit tight. I would stay there again.

While the TV itself was amazing (a very large Sony panel), the TV service, Optik, was really annoying, dated, and not worth using. The hallways are a bit dreary and don't have the design flair present in the room itself.

The room was clean and tidy and only a 15 minute walk from Banff. I have seen some reviews complaining that the location was a bit far to walk but we actually Ike’s this as it still was extremely walkable but wasn’t so close that it was noisy. I found the sheets a bit scratchy but this may just be a personal thing, other than that the bed was very comfortable and I slept well. the hot tub and sauna were nice and the receptionist was friendly as check in. The parking lot has limited space but we didn’t have an issue parking. One issue though was that some people clearly created their own parking spots when the lot was full. as such we were nearly boxed in but we’re able to get out thanks to there being open space next to us that we could reverse into.

Some of the furniture could do with a bit of an update. the drawer on our dresser wouldn’t stay closed and was always half open. As mentioned above, the sheets were a bit scratchy but I think this was a personal issue. Additionally if you care about having easy access to breakfast, this isn’t the place for you. we didn’t mind though as there was a coffee shop about 500m down the road.

Good location. Easy underground parking and friendly/helpful staff.

It was a little further up the Main Street than I would have preferred… which meant walking a little more. Wasn’t an issue for most, however one in our party had a knee issue… and made it challenging, especially with the snow. We also had four as opposed to three in the booking, (we changed our booking multiple times, so there definitely my error). I did find it somewhat insulting when I confirmed the number when checking in, and was charged for our teen. It wasn’t the additional charge, ($15-$17/night?!), but the fact that we were paying over $400/night… and felt it was ‘nickelling and diming’. We did absolutely enjoy our time in Banff, this by no way ruined it. just an observation on how I felt at check-in.
