Canadas Best Value Inn & Suites Kamloops

I have stayed at this motel several times & made several suggestions in these reviews. This time was spectacular! When we arrived, paperwork was printed & waiting for signatures. When we entered the room, the air conditioner had been running so room already was comfortable, TV already was turned on so no hassles with figuring out how to get that service. There also was a chair & a task lamp at the desk. Lighting by the bed is excellent for reading, sewing or needlework.

Sadly, the task lamp had a malfunction-it only flicked on for a few seconds at regular intervals. Switching plug in outlets did not resolve the problem.

Liked: sheets were soft and clean Pillows nice - soft and clean Bathroom nice and clean. TV worked fine. Lady on the front desk was really nice. Location easy for someone who hasnt been here before. Its on the main drag- Columbia. Pretty quiet considering its location on corner of Battle and Columbia. Good quality coffee in the room.

No coat hangers. No fresh milk. Only powdered and white sugar is just 'out' Raw sugar 'in' Wpuld be nice to have a venetian blind on the ground floor room we were in for added privacy and ability to let filtered light in. (Rm #120) . We hadall the other rooms have them. We had to keep curtains closed and so it was dark..

centrally located & has an on site restaurant!

had to ask for a chair to sit at the desk. as with most motels, lighting is inadequate to work or read. Also typical of most motels in this price range, eating on the bed is far too common & uncomfortable.

Two garbage receptacles! One large one in the room & a smaller one in the bathroom. No one should need to carry diapers, incontinence or female sanitary products into the room for disposal. With take out or delivered meals, the larger one in the room is great as well.

No chair in the room. Very difficult to work sitting on a bed. Bathroom fan is quite noisy.

Location was perfect. Hotel and room was very clean, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. They were so helpful and generous. Next time I will come in this town I will stay in same hotel. Thank you staff for this great stay.

This place was very clean and very affordable. I was quite impressed with how comfortable the beds were.

I don’t think there wasn’t anything I could pick out that I didn’t like about the property

Task light with chargers at the desk make paperwork possible. Great lights by bedside for reading & handiwork. Loved the new planters at each doorway.

Would love more space to sit outside.

Years ago like 7 years ago I would of never stayed they be yesterday wen I stayed, best price in Kamloops and very nice renovations I was very impressed

It was right downtown. There was city work going on one of the nights right outside my room on the street. Backup beepers going on for several hours. Not the hotels fault but was still annoying.
