The washroom

We paid for an ocean view room but what we got was a room with some water-floating structures blocking the scarce ocean view. I didn't like the fact that when I arrived at the reception they had changed my room number and gave me the last available room because they thought I was not gonna make it to the hotel that night. Poor assumption! Once you have a reservation your room should be kept for you not given to somebody else who arrives at the facility before you. That is the reason why customers make a reservation ahead of time in the first place. Management needs to pay attention to small details like this because they show a lack of customer service skills on the staff.

Front desk staff was super friendly, and he told us about nearby restaurants and what places were best. The room was very clean, not a stain or spec of dirt in sight. The beds were extremely comfy. No odd smells, and the ac unit does a great job of keeping the room cool during the heat. Location is great within walking distance of almost everything and a pub right next door open late with very good food. Rooms were quiet and could barely hear cars outside. Overall, it was a great place to stay in sechelt.

There is not much to complain about other than not a lot of parking directly in front of the building and no options for breakfast in the morning. Would be a little better if the showers and toilets weren't connected to the same water because when you flush the shower goes hot. Only per room though which is nice. The room was a little small but big enough if you aren't hauling multiple suitcases.

Location was great for us and the beds were very comfortable. You can tell this place was recently renovated with new beds, furniture etc. Check in staff was helpful and friendly.

The only suggestion I would make would be an ice machine for all the unit to have access to…..there are mini fridges to stash a few cold items, but if you are filling water bottles etc. an ice machine would have been great. We did walk across to the pub a couple of times to get ice and they accommodated us but im sure they wouldnt want that to become a regular thing with all guests who want ice. I would stay here again despite this minor inconvenience.

We arrived on the Island late morning and intended to go on a hike for the day so we stopped by the hotel to ask if they had a safe place to store our luggage until check in later that day. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful. He had 1 room that was ready and allowed us to check in earlier. I was very happy that we did not have to worry about our luggage being inside our vehicle while on our hike.

The room & bathroom were nice you could tell they had been updated recently, however in the large shower there was no shelf or place to set your toiletries on.

Great location! Close to city center, but tucked away next to a marina, in a very quiet area. Adjacent to Harbour Air and The Lighthouse Pub/Buccaneers was a bonus! Great value. Would definitely stay again. Beautiful renovated room.

Our only complaint is about the pillows! I’ve never used a pillow like that - it’s hard to describe - but it’s almost like they were inflated, like an air mattress pillow. There didn’t seem to be a way to ‘deflate’ them, and we found that unusual and uncomfortable. it wouldn’t deter us from staying again though. But if there is a way to ‘pop’ these pillows so they soften/flatten a bit, that would be so much better lol

Helpful staff. Good location on the Bay although my room faced the parking lot. Theres a deck with piped music and a BBQ to the side of the property. Room was clean and comfortable. Only about 1km to restaurants and coffee shops.

The plumbing upgrade wasn't great and the bathroom noisy when the washing machines were in use. This wasn't a problem after about 7pm. The Keurig coffee make was broken. There is insufficient parking on the site and overflow is across the street

hotel rooms have some security issues… hotel room door does not lock properly when leaving the room . you have to really pull it shut and make sure it clicks for it to lock . hotel door only has one medium lock on it …. door does not have peep hole ( to see who’s at door ) , or chain on it .. I noticed this when some sketchy dude knocked on my door in the afternoon looking for his “ friend “ he could of been casein the place …..

Nice room for the price, good space and features. Comfortable beds. Good location with a beautiful view. We were able to watch birds fishing and a black bear roaming the inlet banks from our window. Restaurant and pub next door.

We asked them to fix the bathtub drain, it was a little clogged. For more toilet paper too, but they probably forgot it. But nothing that disappoints overall.

The location is excellent, The room was immaculate. I loved the bathroom mirror with its built-in de-fogger after shower. The hotel employs great staff, which went above and beyond to help.

I stayed on the lower floor (my choice) and could easily hear late night conversations outside. Bathtub was quite slippery, so could use a rubber mat or something similar for safety.

The property was a very nice modern interior with great air conditioning to use. The rooms itself were neat, tidy, with a sense of welcoming right when we walked in. Although this is not about the property, however, the staff were very friendly. Especially Naush. Naush is a very helpful and strong worker that was willing to help my family and I with anything!

There was not a single thing that I did not like!
