Exercise room, clean facilities, close to convention center.

Slow elevators. Also got charged $30 just to check in 1.5 hours early! At an expensive hotel like this, an extra fee like that is such a disappointment.

The location of the hotel was in an ideal spot, making it easy for me to be able to walk around the city. With the heat, having been there in July the pool & hot tub was an absolute godsend to be able to use. The size of the hotel room was amazing, with an incredibly comfortable bed.

I was a little disappointed that every time I needed to speak to someone from guest services there was always a wait for a member of staff to show up. Also I think it would be beneficial to highlight to customers when checking in how the lift functionality works as I had to figure it out after an incredibly long day of traveling.

Of all the hotels I tried to book in Vancouver this was the only one who responded to my request to have 2 rooms as a minimum request on the same floor. None of the others would commit. As we were travelling with teenage children this made our life easier. The hotel was lovely and the staff very friendly. They even sent a lovely cake to our room on my daughters room, and I’d only mentioned that it was her 18th during our stay when I checked in. The cake was a lovely surprise.

The pool is very small- didn’t matter too much to us as we were busy during our trip

Friendly staff. great location for exploring the area on foot. clean.

The only thing that was a problem was the vegetarian burger at the restaurant. The menu describes it as a vegetable patty, didn’t say it was a vegetable patty that was made to taste like actual meat. For someone who hasn’t eaten meat for over 30 years, that first bite was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever tasted. It’s beyond me why any vegetarian or vegan would want something that tastes or resembles dead animal in their meal. The waitress didn’t seem to understand the problem but was gracious and offered the menu for another choice.

The room was extremely comfortable. The food in the Mosaic Grille was excellent. The staff was very accommodating.

We were charged for our 1st night of the reservation, even though we did not stay that night. This was do to our flight from Phoenix leaving 45 minutes late causing us to miss the connecting flight to Vancouver. I called as soon as we had internet after we landed, the lady that answered spoke to her supervisor and said since it was pass the free cancellation time they would have to charge us for the night. I know every situation is unique. I worked 20 years as a casino manager. Customer service was a major part of my duties. In this case I would have made a different decision based on the circumstances.

The location was superb. We walked everywhere! The elevator system was great. They were fast and we hardly had to share an elevator with anyone else. The heated pool was great, especially since it is in the shade for the majority of the day.

The free wifi was slow and never stayed connected to my devices. There was an option to pay $5/day for upgraded wifi which I think is ridiculous nowadays. I prefer a firmer mattress so I found the beds too soft. It felt like the middle was sunk. The walls are not soundproof. I was woken up by the crying baby next door most nights in the middle of the night, so keep your fingers crossed for quiet neighbors.

This is very convenient in terms of location to attractions, shuttle buses and places to eat.

The beds uncomfortable, they were too soft. I did speak with reception and they put a bed board, but it didn't make a difference. Considering how expensive and highly rated this hotel chain is, we were disappointed with the beds. Also there wasn't a fan in the bathroom and it got steamy very quickly.

We enjoyed our stay very much, as one would expect from a Hyatt the amenities were top class. However while this is big hotel it has a "huge" heart. The staff were excellent from the friendliness of the front desk, the lobby desk (especially Luther) and the breakfast & bar staff. The ground floor manager deserves great credit. The location is absolutely superb. The bedroom was very comfortable and well specified the "corporate work station" was not applicable to our room type but it did not cause an issue. Great place will be back

The only minor issues were as mentioned above the corporate desk in a family room. in our second week the ground floor bar was closed for private functions and while the upstairs bar was opened it does not have the same vibe

Staff was courteous. I loved that they cleaned the room each day--rate these days. Room was clean. Hotel located an easy walk to the metro to get to the airport. Beds were very comfortable. Elevators were fast and efficient.

The room was big but because of the way that they designed the room, they only put two double beds instead of queens. For a family of four, bigger beds would have been better. I chose the hotel because it was near the metro but it turns out that there isn't much of a metro (other than to airport). We ended up walking everywhere so I would have used different criteria to choose a hotel. Also, there was a hair on the ceiling which I couldn't stop looking at. Of course, who spends much time sweeping ceilings? Oh well.

This was our first visit to Vancouver and the start of our cruse to Alaska. We loved our stay at Hyatt Regency. Our room was spacious, well decorated, very clean, beautiful view of the city, comfortable bed, and well equipped with towels, ...etc. The staff members throughout the stay were very professional, friendly, and polite, we were treated like royalties. Special mention is the remarkably delicious breakfast and all the servers in the dinning room.. The special delicious omelet (prepared by "Bob") was absolutely da BEST EVER!

None.
