The location in the centre and the room size ( we were in a luxe king room with city view).

There is still noise coming from the street at night, although there is a park in the front of the hotel. Spa facilities are poor: only one steam room if free, the rest of the Spa is not included in the already high room fee. We booked 5 nights trough BOOKING.com, we saw cheaper rates during our stay. I contacted booking by mail and by telephone , they refused to aline the price even tough I provid all they asked ( link to the cheaper rate, meal info and room type). It took 20 hours with no news, then I phoned the customer service and they wanted also a printscreen. too late of course for taking this. Booking is changing the rules of the game while playing! Advice: do not book via Booking.

Spacious rooms, very comfy bed, lovely bathroom. Spotless. Staff are superb.

Rooms at the rear of the property overlook an alley where dumpster trucks start to empty bins at 6am. Soundproofing not really existent so it is noisy. Restaurant closed during our stay 😤

We chose this hotel because they are part of the Relais and Chateaux brand which are known for their superb quality. We loved that they have a great selection of tea and offered Nespresso coffee as part of the room. The staff have recommended awesome things to do in Vancouver. Also they let us stay in the relaxation area to just have a rest before the long flight home.

The hotel is in a busy road so it could be tricky to park at the front for the valet to park the car for you. The housekeeping forgot to replenish the coffee and tea one morning but they fixed it when you ask them to.

The valet parking staff were friendly and excellent! The location of the hotel is great for getting around downtown.

Parking is very expensive!

We stayed here for the first night of our honeymoon, and the staff made sure we felt extra special by sending up congratulations chocolates and drinks. We especially appreciated the luxury touches like high end linens and walk in closet, as well as the complimentary steam and hot tub. Breakfast at Bacchus lounge was superb and again, the attention from the staff made all the difference. Would highly recommend for those looking for an exquisite retreat.

There's nothing not to like....but if I was pressed I'd say a later breakfast as it's very difficult to drag yourself out of those heavenly beds!

the staff were amazing! Every person treated us with exceptional customer service, and made us feel incredibly welcome and comfortable. The valet was very helpful and friendly. The front desk was welcoming and thorough. The lounge had a great ambience, yummy drinks and amazing staff! Beds were very comfortable and rooms were clean and surprisingly quiet for being located right downtown. Room service from the in house restaurant was delicious!! This was a perfect stay for our date night, with so many amazing venues and restaurants near by, we are excited to come back and stay again. next time we will stay longer and take advantage of the spa.

I wish we had booked a longer stay! we will stay here again.

A few of these features were a little bit dated, I.e. the bathroom. The kettle near the coffee machine did not have a spare plug socket, meaning I had to move the kettle next to the TV (nearest available plug socket). Also the lighting in the living room area of the suite I was staying in was fairly poor. The majority in the lighting came from lamps. These comments may seem petty but I would have expected them to be addressed given the amount of money I paid to stay here.

My family and I just had a wonderful stay at the Wedgewood! We absolutely adored it! Starting with the doorman, who wore a day coat and a top hat (!), to the wonderful food and service at the hotel restaurant, to the fantastic host working the desk, everything exceeded our expectations. The vibe is very old school, British, and incredibly charming. Gorgeous floral arrangements wherever you look, velvet couches, warm wood. The atmosphere and the people working there made us all feel very special. We will definitely stay at the Wedgewood again!

The Location was excellent, and made walking to the Theatre possible. Staff were very helpful. Both the Bar and the Dining Room were comfortable facilities with helpful service and outstanding food.The room was comfortable and clean.

The 3 Nespresso coffee pods available in the room, were insufficient for 2 people who arrived at noon one day after traveling from another city, and who had a Late Theatre engagement that night, and did not check out till noon the next day. I have no doubt, that if we had asked staff for more pods they would have arrived. Given the overall luxury and comfort of the hotel, I was surprized that there were not at least 6 for 2 people, and given that was not the case, surprized that the 2 consumed after arrival were not replaced with the evening Bed turn down.
