The comfy bed

There is no parking for the guests, the hotel will ask you to park in the public parking across the road, which is a a bit pricey too.

Location was very ideal and centralized in the city. Lobby of hotel had top brand stores like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Dior, & Omega. Stayed in a 400 sq. room and for a Family of 4 it was ideal, gave us plenty of space to move around. Beds & pillows were very comfy, slept good. Robes and slippers was a nice extra touch :) Bathroom was nice and clean :) Kids and I walked around the area and felt safe - Pacific Center shopping area was within walking distance and had plenty of shops to go to. Plenty of nice restaurants to choose from -- Italian, Thai, Steak. IGA store was close by to pick up anything else.

BE AWARE THERE IS NO CAR PARKING WITH IN THIS HOTEL. A parking garage is next to the hotel that we ended up having to pay in addition to our hotel stay of $181 for the 3 nights stay. Hotel should offer some sort of deal for parking to be included with the room stay. The air conditioner couldn't get our room cool enough, we ended opening up the window at night to try and keep it cooler. Bathroom needs to have a fan for airing out the # two :|

The location is wonderfully central. The seawall, Stanley Park, shopping and restaurants are all so accessible on foot. The bed was very comfortable and the room large and lovely. We brought our 80lb dog and the staff brought up a large dog bed and dishes for her. Also the valet parking services and Bell staff were both attentive and friendly. It was very welcome upon arrival.

I liked everything but we could t help notice that our phone and some surfaces were very dusty. It felt like the room may have been empty for a few nights and it would have been necessary to give it a wipe down so it was fresh.

Room and facilities were clean and comfortable.

At this price the fact that wifi isn’t included is ridiculous. It’s 2022 and they’re charging $16/day for wifi, so antiquated.

it was very central, beautiful, friendly staff, the dogs are amazing and the restaurant was lovely.

the rooms & bathroom were a little small. While we were there the pool was closed they did let us go to the fairmont waterfront and use their pool but they gave us taxi vouchers but the taxis didn’t like that & they were quite rude about it I would have preferred a discount off the room and made my own way there. there is no stair access or no staff could tell us where they were when we asked 8 different staff members and the elevator situation was awful. if you are only offering elevators you need an elevator attendant as people are extremely rude and rush in front of you when you have children and suitcases even though you were there first and pushed the call button. For how expensive it is I would like a little more consideration into how they go about things.

not a lot of food options in restaurant between meal times. put into the corner for the meal we did have because we had 2 kids with us so it felt like they didn’t want us there! I actually understand the idea behind this but maybe ask if people want to be taken to back of the restaurant and put into corner with all the other riff raff! funnily I oooked around and the only people near us were people a bit less polished! wasn’t a great feel given we probably tipped more than the people more dressed up and also paid to be there!

An amazing property to stay at, without a doubt. The beds were comfortable, the electric teapot in the room a bonus (the tiny cups, not so helpful) and the staff was exceptional.

The property is located in a very wealthy area and there were few choices for less than expensive meals. The concierge had some excellent recommendations that were within our budget. The step to enter the hotel at 3 of the 4 doors was exceptionally tall, an issue for one of our party who has some problems with steps.

male manager and two female hostesses working on Dec 31st, 2022 at Notch 8 were had discriminating attitude towards us. Bar was empty and bar seatings are usually first come first serve bases. we were stopped at the entrance and were told bar was full. then when we pointed out they were empty, we were told they were already reserved. after about 10 mins of exchange they seated our husbands at a table but we decided to call it a night.

We LOVED our stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and albeit it being a big house, they made us feel "at home". Especially the concierge team is wonderful. A real perfectly run and kept traditional house. House keeping spot on, and so was room service. Really well run.

The swimming pool needs a renovation, especially the pool itself. The bottom is made of a foil and not tiled as you would expect from a hotel of this standard. We also did not like the beds: WAY too soft and a bit worn out.

Quiet room with good facilities including power points to plug in my CPAP matching. Front office staff very helpful in sorting out the duplicate booking after Booking.com did not respond effectively to my travel agent to cancel the duplicate reservation within the required period and while we were out of contact via email. My travel agent had my authority to act for me
