Great rooms. Nespresso machine. Plenty of towels. Very big TV with seamless casting from tablet or phone. Staff is amazing. The rooms are sound proofed from each other. I would have liked an arm chair instead of having to sit on bed. Location is very convenient.

Party hotel:the hotel has a club on 3rd floor & karma lounge. The room next to mine was a party room. Lots of people got a room to continue partying slamming the door while screaming drunk. The main entrance is in a dark alley designed for cars drop off. If you like to walk in the morning keep company to garbage crew/dump truck+ delivery trucks.

Paradox hotel has beautiful rooms, The bed is amazingly comfortable, the room is a large size, the bathroom is modern with heated floors and the room itself has lots of great functions like automatic shades. Paradox is within walking distance to most things if you don't mind a 10- 30 minute walk. The pool was nice, oddly set in a nightclub but during the day it was empty. The staff were very friendly and happy to help at all times.

The wifi was a bit on and off on my phone but worked fine on my laptop. The $100 hold per day seemed a bit much to have a hold on your card. If travelling with a travel card like I was this takes the hold and you don't have access to the funds so for them to hold an extra $400 was a lot.

We loved the location, loved the room especially the automatic blinds and drapes, the heated tiles in the bathroom were wonderful also. What we did not like was the way we were treated in the Karma Lounge. Basically we were ignored even though it wasn’t busy, both the waitresses and the bartender were very dismissive and rather rude for whatever reason. We were in the hotel for 4 nights, we never bothered to return to the lounge, fortunately for us we saved a ton of money.

see above…also my husband left his AirPods in the room by mistake. Unfortunately when we called the hotel a short time later from the airport, the front desk told us they were not found in the room by housekeeping, however AirPods can be traced and we saw that they were there. So we question the integrity and honesty of the employees!!

The service was phenomenal - much better than a lot of 5* hotels out there. All members of the staff were accommodating of all our requests! Coupled with brand new features, state of the art amenities and prime location at the heart of Vancouver downtown, steps away from my WeWork office spaces for work. The in-hotel XYLIA Spa was phenomenal too. Karma lounge has good food, and it is certainly a vibe to see your hotel having a nightclub down your elevators ;)

The only room for improvement would be the WiFi service. We still appreciated staff trying their level best, including giving us access to the secured WiFi. But that too was choppy. In no way would this hamper the experience, but this would certainly go the extra mile for a lot of guests with minor work commitments during their stay.

Where do I start. From moment I pick up from the airport arranged through the concierge; customer service was impeccable. The driver extremely attentive and acknowledged my presence ensuring the process went smoothly was extremely appreciative. Now the hotel is was STUNNING. Checkin was perfect; extremely polite and friendly. The gentleman delivered my luggage to my room and before I could settle in the luggage was present with my bed being turndown and an orientation on how to operate features for the room (via keypad on the wall, nightstand and iPad on top of the nightstand). I’ve stayed at numerous hotels but the Paradox is on an whole different level; with the Executive room providing an AMAZING VIEW. Dinner at Mott 32 was exceptional and customer service keeping similar standards. I will surly return to The Paradox Hotel. Absolutely STUNNING 🥰

The hotel is situated on West Georgia Street, one of the major arteries of West Vancouver. Despite this, one cannot hear the traffic noise in the rooms (we were on the 6th floor). The location is excellent, within easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and harbours. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable.

Minor quibbles concern the lack of an electric socket by the desk, so that there was no place to charge the laptop other than on the floor. Moreover, the hotel invites you to enjoy dinner in the privacy of your room, but we had no armchair or a coffee table to eat it on. There are only two eating places in the hotel: one is an expensive Chinese restaurant and the other a bar/bistro, which host an all-day DJ. The music is generally too loud to hear oneself speak, particularly in the evening.

Guest reception staff were very friendly and professional. Room was very clean with a reasonably good view of the harbour. Coffee was good.

Main entrance was on the side lane or back of property which was not advertised becoz it is not on the map, I was told...sound a bit strange until you see it for yourself. My wife consumed a packet of biscuits for morning coffee and we advised reception on check out. $10 was included to room charges and paid for in the final invoice via my travel prepaid card. However, a few days later, when travelling in Alaska, I noted $10 was charged as an extra amount in my registered credit card. A small mistake like this can leave a sour taste and should not have happened as the customer had advised reception staff on check out day and the $10 item was included and shown separately and paid for in the final invoice. There should have been a system or manual check to reconcile the item charged.

The most impressive thing about the Paradox is their staff. Checking in with Saksham on the front desk was superb, he made us feel so welcome, he was very professional, warm and friendly. Throughout our stay with delayed flights and needing an extended stay, and transport postponed several times, we were cared for patiently and obligingly by, Charlie, Marty and the exceptional Andrew who went above and beyond. All are a valuable asset to the Paradox. Housekeeping by the ever smiling Raman was perfect. The room was lovely, the technology easy to use, the layout was excellent, large TV, deep bath, heated bathroom floor, seperate loo and the most comfortable luxurious bed.

The only negative thing was the night staff, who locked us out of our room, because apparently a security deposit hadn't been taken for the extra night. They made us feel like criminals. Our room key that had worked during the day, got us up the lift to our level, but wouldn't open our door and we were told it's because the security deposit hadn't been taken. Yet they had our Cc details, as they'd incorrectly charged us for valet parking on our Cc, despite not having a car. Took over half an hour to resolve, to get back into our room, spoiling a good nightout. However, the rest of the staff we dealt with were excellent and we will return.

Love the hotel decor and vibe of the place! The staff are all amazing, courteous, delightful smiling people from the check-in desk to the room service folks!

Absolutely loved the location of the hotel. very safe and access to anywhere around town. Then, no matter how long your day or sightseeing adventure (& there are a lot of fun, beautiful excursions with pickup right at the hotel sometimes) … you’ll be welcomed back to your comfortable lodging with such polite and helpful smiling faces of the staff! I’m so glad I happened to pick The Paradox Hotel on Booking.com out of the numerous choices in Vancouver!
