Our room was lovely, with the best shower of our whole month-long trip. The location is unbeatable, especially I'd imagine in ski season. We were visiting in September, but nonetheless, it was within short walking distance of the village. The hotel itself feels very new and contemporary. I would highly recommend a facial at the spa - it was terrific.

This is so close to 10/10. but the pool was pretty busy with families every time we tried to use it. The hot tub was nice and relaxing but not somewhere to have a swim.

The pool and related things were great for children, the bars were friendly and also supplied delicious food, the Portobello was an excellent place for breakfast, and could have been for other meals as well. The bus to take guests into town was frequent and the drivers very accommodating. Overall, a very good place to stay. Four elevators and no waiting.

There is nothing I can think of that could have been better. Maybe a longer stay than 4 days!

Love staying at the Fairmont. Good comfortable room and relaxing surroundings. Enjoyed the heated pool & hot tubs after a day’s exploring. The lobby bar is second to none with fantastic live music each day. Portobello convenient for lunch. Convenient store across the road. Provided extra mini fridge for stay.

Spa is expensive. Not in the main village centre but a short, easy walk & shuttle & guests cars provided so it’s not an issue.

Friendly, courteous, professional staff. Easy check-in experience. Great pool. Great restaurant (had the breakfast buffet). Complimentary shuttle service to main drop-offs running every 5 minutes, or by phoning and requesting . excellent customer service when reported an issue to the property manager after we checked out.

parking was expensive at $39 plus tax per night. We had an issue on our second day which was promptly remedied by the manager after we checked out.

Overall the getaway was relaxing and comfortable. We had two rooms on the 3rd floor with mostly a view of the rooftop but some mountain view. The king room was very nice with a couch and a juliette balcony. The double queen room was fine, nothing special but did have a couple of surprisingly comfortable chairs, a table, desk/desk chair, and safe. No coffee maker or ice bucket in the room. Didn't look if there was a fridge. Very pleasant dinner with excellent service at The Wildflower. Lovely to enjoy a coffee and morning pastry outside by the fire pit at Portobello. Didn't use the gym or pool this time but it looked good.

Oddly, someone rapped on our doors at the stroke of 11 am (or slightly before) to make sure we were checking out. And then again 10 minutes later just as I was leaving. Never experienced that before. Plus they billed someone else's meal to our room. If I hadn't checked and called, this would have gone through. They said they'd send a revised bill once adjusted. Three days later haven't seen it yet but the charge was reversed on my credit card.

Overall great Hotel. Good food nearby and the pool was really great with a lot of hot tubs to choose from. Great staff who helped efficiently and friendly. The rooms and hotel overall were very clean and the room was very comfortable.

They need to trim the cologne spray or whatever it is they use to scent the main lobby and hotel. The musk was overpowering. All hot tubs should be the same temperature, one was almost luke warm.

Stunning iconic hotel right at the bottom of the piste. Large clean and luxurious room. Great music in atmospheric bar. Nice hot tub area.

Very expensive. The on-site restaurant choices varied in quality. Hot tub wasn’t very powerful. Although it was nice that it is a no reservation bar, some assistance in finding tables and ensuring people didn’t jump ahead would have been appreciated and would have elevated the experience.

The Fairmont hotels are always beautiful properties. Comfortable room. Easy access to Blackcomb gondola. It’s a short walk to Whistler village (may also be a negative for some). Four good size hot tubs but pool on smaller side.

Unable to get a reservation at their restaurant due to staffing shortages. No fault of the hotel I’m sure, just like everywhere else trying to open up with COVID. It’s kind of isolated and not much going on around the hotel after around 6pm. It’s a good 10 minute walk to the village where most of the action is.

I was upgraded to Gold on the 8th floor. Amazing—especially for breakfast! It was right there down the hall.

Poor service in the larger restaurant—but excellent service in Wildflower! I had some poor interactions with a few people at the pool (pool hogging, over controlling) I did tell staff:)

The hotel and staff are faultless. Wonderful hotel in a great position and surroundings. Staff were helpful and the facilities were exceptional. We could not not find a single fault and it is run efficiently with the customer being made to feel special. This was a big family holiday and it is expensive to stay here but you certainly get what you pay for and we were sad to leave. Staying here made the whole trip special.

Nothing.
