We’ve stayed at The Sundial several times and just had another wonderful 2 night stay. The hotel is nicely maintained. Room came with a kitchen which is convenient. We had room 603. The one bedroom suite was a great size with a fabulous view of the mountain slopes and were there during Crankworx so we had the best view of the bikes coming down the jumps etc. Another highlight of our stays was the rooftop hot tub that you could sign out for 1/2 hour. Seems like it would be too short, but it's actually the perfect amount of time as you wouldn't want to sit in 101 to 104 degrees for more than 15 minutes anyway. Towels are provided and there's a shower up there to rinse off. All staff we encountered were polite and helpful.

The only negative I can think of is that the Longhorn Pub (I think that's what it's called), is below. It's like a nightclub with music and drunk shenanigans yelling past midnight. It's not the hotels fault, and they actually provide packaged earplugs in the rooms, which I thought was odd when I first saw them but made sense at midnight :) . If you're a light sleeper or go early to bed, this may be a bigger problem.

The Sundial has the same aura of simplicity and charm found in many European hotels. The room suite we occupied was very modern in amenities and decor. The staff was cheerfully polite and very helpful with directions, suggestions , and accommodating our requests. They made our stay in Whistler an exceptional experience. The Mexican and Sushi restaurants were busy places but even when serving boisterous patrons the staff were patient, friendly and professional. We had a delightful time thanks to the Sundial.

The limited Pub menu. The staff and drinks were great,th²e cuisine(at the Pub only) not do much.

Location was great. 2 bedroom unit was very spacious and clean.

Would have wished there were 2 bathrooms. An oversight on my part when booking. We had 2 showers and sinks but only 1 toilet. Would have been fine for a family but a little uncomfortable for couples who aren’t as comfortable with each other. We had a water leak into our bathroom from the unit above us. A few things got wet likely from dirty shower water above. Maintenance followed up quickly and it stopped as the unit was finished showering upstairs however we felt we should have been compensated more then we were. We were in a rush at check out and didn’t want any conflict with the desk staff so we just accepted the small compensation.

Complimentary wine & yoga mat was very needed and all the more appreciated. When one of us forgot a toothbrush, the staff brought us up an extra one (even at an ungodly hour). I especially admired the detailed pillow menu, offering more pillow types I didn't even know existed. Lastly, In the morning, they approved our request for a late check in (allowed our birthday girl some extra sleep). Overall, the staff did the utmost to exceed our expectations and our needs. Thank you for allowing us to be extra needy, comfy, and stress-free on our friends birthday getaway.

very good location, very convenient next to the gondola. ski rental in the same building very convenient as well

Either the room windows are way too thin or the bars outside are just too loud. Maybe a combination of both but having a good night sleep was very hard. Every night there was so loud noises from drunk people. More than half our stay, one of the two elevators didn’t work. Staff uses both of them as service elevators to load supplies for the 2nd floor restaurants. Unnaceptable

Hotel was easy to find and had underground parking (extra charge) on site. Check in staff were friendly. We had a one bedroom mountain view suite which was a good size. The best thing was the location in the heart of the village. Staying in summer we could watch the mountain bikers coming down from our window and also from the terrace of the hotel bar. We only stayed one night but would happily have spent longer.

We tried the hotels Mexican restaurant but wouldnt recommend.

The location was perfect. Right next to the main (Excalibur) gondola station. the staff were extremely, friendly, helpful, and welcoming, especially Jacob (who sorted us with an upgrade), and Cerys(?, I think that’s her name, from Ilford, UK) who was always able to help with our many queries. We had an amazing stay there. Thank you all for making it so great. 😁

Nothing. it was perfect!

Loved the location! The staff was exceptional, very friendly, and very accommodating! Can't wait to come back!

Nothing! Of course, the price could be a little bit better but this is definitely a location, location, location kind of place in Whistler -- in the middle of the action. FYI, you do have to book your hot tub time. It's not open to whenever you want to go.

Being in the heart of Whistler, you can't go wrong with the Sundial. They are really set up as a boutique hotel and after checking in, I received a text asking how things were going. Communication was really good in what, as a guest I may need. The room was massive and exceeded our expectations.

Being in the middle of the village it was a bit noisy at night but the hotel thoughtfully provided ear plugs. Self-parking was the same cost as valet parking. Had I known this I would have just gone with the valet parking.

SUNDIAL IS THE VERY BEST AT WHISTLER! The people were nice. They bent over backwards to make our stay awesome! They remembered us by name. The room was big and comfortable and cozy. There are no negatives about this motel. The location was perfect. The room was perfect. The friendliness, staff and efficiency was perfect.

I can’t think of anything!
