Great location. Lovely house. Everything clean and well maintained. free parking. Room a little smaller than expected and to call it a “suite” is misleading as a suite usually has a distinctly separate area. Also I think saying there is a fireplace conjures up an image of a room different from what it is. We didn’t need a heater but that was all it was, an electronic heater, taking up space. The mattress was very good and the pillows and bedding. At last a duvet which was fully enclosed in a case (we are not keen on what we found in Canada where the duvet becomes quickly uncovered and can touch someone’s body). Good shower. Jen was really friendly, helpful and conscientious. Breakfast was perfect for us and the fruit salad absolutely the best.

One piece of advice, Jen needs to put in easily accessible charging points in the room so that guests can easily charge phones etc. overall we were very happy with our stay.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful host; thank you Jen. Plenty of space in room with our own lounge. Very comfortable bed, with a spare sofa bed in the lounge. Great coffee and tea making facility in hallway, with real milk in fridge. Easy walk to Gull lake for swimming. Gravenhurst is a lovely little town

Air conditioning unit was quite noisy so we didn't use it at night.

Very inviting, clean, quiet, with well appointed rooms. Breakfast was amazing. Jen & Janet were lovely- very approachable, quick to respond to any requests or questions. Overall wonderful experience.

It was a pleasure staying at The Inn on Bay. The room was very nice, it was cozy and clean. Breakfast was excellent and lovingly prepared by Janet. Janet and Jen was kind and friendly. I saw snow for the first time and I was delighted! Overall the experience was brilliant. I’ll recommend it! Thank you a lot, guys! <3

our room had an external bathroom which wasn’t adjacent to the room itself which was a bit odd but no real problem

The Inn on Bay is a very cozy place to stay. I was with my partner for his birthday. The trip to Gravenhurst was to go stargazing at Torrence Barrens. Unfortunately, the evening of the planned star gazing was overcast and we were not able to see any stars. The Inn became the absolute highlight of the trip. Further, when the proprietor, Jen, asked about why we were in Gravenhurst and I told her, she came up with a little "birthday cake" with a candle in it to celebrate his birthday. It was a very sweet gesture and one I know he really appreciated.

A beautiful little inn! it’s right downtown, walking distance to all the little shops. Our room was clean, secure, and quiet. Parking is free and close by. The communal spaces were decorated for the holidays and very inviting and clean.

Jen the owner was great, friendly, hospitable and accmmodating .. breakfast was delicious.. we will definitely return.

breakfast was great. I liked how many towels there were in the bathroom. Given that it's a century home (I think). Having the light blocker at the bottom of the door helped me sleep better in complete darkness. Lastly, because I arrived late, having the key in an envelope at the door waiting for me was super helpful, for me to self-check-in.

There was an open semi-drank coke can in my mini fridge. Not a big deal, I know how things can go amiss when flipping a room. It wasn't a big deal, and I wasn't using the fridge for anything. I just hope that by now it has been removed.

I loved how it was minutes away from our morning coffee, groceries and small restaurants! it was a self check in which we loved and there is free parking!

The TV guide that she provided us didn’t match up to the channels that were actually available but I did manage to find the TV guide online instead so it wasn’t a bother at all! We always had something to watch! We are just grateful there was tv at all :)
