Monte Carlo Inn Toronto West Suites

1. The staff was super helpful and nice. Great Customer service 2. Bed/mattress was SO comfortable 3. Good hot shower. 4. Good Restaurants close 5. Clean bathroom ( no mold or anything around)

1. When they were supposed to change the sheets they were not changed. We know this as a pair of shorts where between the sheets. The cleaning staff didn't change the sheets. 2. At breakfast the boiled eggs where cut from a bag in front of everyone. Why not just take the tray and fill it with eggs. We dont need to see that. 3. Small breakfast area. But you can take a tray an walk to your room.

It was quiet and comfortable. The staff were friendly. Mary, at the continental breakfast, was amazing! She was quick to make sure everything was available, she refilled empty containers quickly and suggest items that we may have missed on our own. She was the highlight of the stay at the hotel!

The phones did not work. I tried callign from outside the hotel prior to arrival, no answer and then I tried again and was disconnected. When we were in the room and I tried to call the front desk, the same thing happened, either rang endlessly or disconnected quickly.

The staff was really kind and helpful. Monte Carlo Inn has a good location and free parking. Breakfast is good although there is a little spase with tables where can sit.

The room we received was clean but with a strange arhitectial decision. The wall between the bathroom and sleeping room is a window. It's the first time I have seen such wall. Maybe it is a Canadian standard, however everything else was perfect.

We requested a room with a Jacuzzi which was a lot nicer Jacuzzi than we used at a completely different property. It was easier to get out of, less hazardous. And we could face each other instead of sitting side by side.

Didn’t like how the deposit on site had to be made by credit card as I don’t think booking.com nor Monte Carlo made that clear. Grateful that they made an exception but frustrating none the less.

The location was on reliable bus line to a ttc station. Two GO stations were nearby with Dixie available Monday to Friday and Long Branch on Lakeshore Road available all week long. There are lots of restaurants nearby as well anumber of Mall areas within walking or driving range. Staff was excellent.

It's clean and it's hospitable. Repeat customer, because you really feel that the staff wants you to come back, but not due to lack of business.

Not really a dislike. But if maintenance could do a weekly tighten of all showerhead attachments. They are adjustable so as people use the different settings, they come unscrewed and begin to leak. Simple problem but some customers would likely be fussy over it.

They have really good staff friendly and kind the manager is always Awesome to talk with and helpful with information that you may want to know about....

There is nothing negative to say about this place I've been here a few times and they are always great If you need any help with your stay But their breakfast in the morning is awesome not Many places offer this kind of of items to have in the morning coffee is awesome....

staff was super nice and everything was kept very clean! the cleaning lady did enter the room even though we said not to but when she made the bed she tucked the plushies that were on there into the bed which was very cute!

the pillows were very stiff - not a huge problem though since we brought our own pillows (everything else was perfect!)

Simple and clean

Our rate for 2 nights was approximately 305.00, and my credit card was charged $152.50 on tye Friday, and upon late check in I was charged the 305 plus 100 damage deposit which was fine. However now today 2 business days later I still have the extra 152.50 charge on my card. I have emailed and not heard back

Breakfast was individually sealed which was really nice considering COVID is currently affecting the world. Fresh and more than enough for me. Variety of muffin and yogurt with an apple daily, including coffee. The entire facility, including the room, was very clean and upon entry, in addition to throughout the day, staff were visibly cleaning to ensure the safety and sanitary measures in place. Beyond the current COVID situation, this is something that the hotel has had in the past as this is not my first stay here, Pre-COVID. There were extra measures in place. I felt safe and secure knowing that there was always someone at the front dest, in addition to the front desk staff checking to see how everything was, ensuring I had all I needed. Very friendly and approachable.

There was nothing that i did not like, except for the fact that I wish I could have stayed a few more days. Although I did manage to get some rest, it most certainly was not enough, in addition to the work which I needed to accomplish as well.
