First of all, the communication from the staff was so quick and friendly. They accommodated an early check in, and even swapped us to an upgraded room when I made a mistake by booking two beds. Upon arrival, I was greeted and helped by an absolutely lovely lady who took the time to help me with my bags and even walk me down the lane to show me where my husband might park our second vehicle, free of charge. Last, but certainly not least… THE ROOM. We stayed in suite 2 and it was absolutely to die for. The comfiest bed, the most luxurious shower, the biggest TV I’ve ever seen. Even the minibar was larger than normal and had lots of room to stash my own things. I wish I could live there!!

Everything very new and exceptionally clean. I like the lights under the bathroom sink that automatically come on when you go in in the middle of the night, they are dim so they don't wake you up. The windows are covered in a folding wood door so it completely blocks out light. Location is great to be able to just park and walk around town for everything. There are a lot of complimentary toiletries, more than at most hotels.

Personally, I prefer a softer mattress and I found it difficult to sleep on a firm mattress, as well I prefer almost flat pillows, I really hate fluffy pillows. If I were to stay here in the future I would wish for a few different kinds of pillows to choose from, and maybe a squishy mattress topper. We had recurring technical problems with our door key pin number, the booking system is not linked to the door key system so we had to phone staff to get into our room a couple of times, which they were quick to respond to. Also, I kind of miss not seeing any staff at the hotel, as everybody just lets themselves in. I would feel safer and more comfortable if there were staff around.

The location was perfect for walking to restaurants. The decor was beautiful…..modern and casual, yet sophisticated, bright, airy, and very spacious. The room also had many unexpected wonderful details. For example, the motion sensor lighting when you used the bathroom at night….and tons of storage in the way of cupboards and drawers. Also the room had so much counter space! And the maple wood floors were gorgeous!

I missed not having either a room balcony…..or a common shared outdoor patio on the premises. I also missed not being to look outside. The only window we had in our room was up high on the wall. In other words…..I would have liked somewhere to sit other than the confines of my room to enjoy my first morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. Also, a small keurig style coffee maker in the room instead of a Bodum French press would be so much easier and less messy. As well, I missed not having a reception desk. Without a physical body there to greet and welcome you with a smile this boutique hotel felt more like just a classy Airbnb.

The room was quite large and modern with a good amount of natural light. The location is perfect.

Not much, maybe the tiny and slow elevator. It was a bit difficult to finalise the booking as they don't have someone on-site. We were requested to provide credit card details on the phone, which made us uncomfortable. It took a bit of back and forth but they understood the issue and allowed us a late check-in without providing these cc details.

It’s a diamond in a rough, wonderful hotel, very cozy, different from all the other hotels we can stay in! Very simple for the check in and the stay, doors with codes everywhere, no card to bring with us and lost.

The only thing that we didn’t like is the mattress, a brick with springs, they should buy foam mattress, that should be 100% better! BUT, it’s the ONLY thing, everything else was perfect!

Joining instructions were a little complicated as some stuff was crossed out on the email that was actually required. The technology in the room with the lights was abit over the top. Nothing wrong with a light switch

The property was located right in central Picton and was close to all of the little shops and some restaurants. The room itself was beautiful and was clearly newly renovated.

The property does not have a front desk or any reception staff located on-site, should any issues arise. That said, the staff were very easily accessible via phone/text at all hours I contacted them.

Our stay was so amazing. Everything was clean and aesthetically pleasing. They had nice bonus touches like big cozy robes per guest. Beautiful stay and amazing location! We could walk down the street and there were restaurants, bars, shops & all the necessities. Exceeded our expectations for sure!! Will be back :)

Great location, quiet room, nice sized unit and very clean. We liked the modern styling and roomy bathroom.

We paid a high rate, but we booked last-minute, so was not surprised. At other places like this, there were a few freebies, like snacks and other items that make up for a lack of staff at check-in.

Modern and high end. Great mattress. A microwave would be nice. Lift to floor is jerky and not confidence inspiring. One of the two nicest places we have stayed with a luxurious modern look.
