Comfort Inn Belleville

The cleanliness, the bed, the TV, the refrigerator, the comforts of my room, the attention of the staff and the breakfast.

1) The air conditioning makes noise. 2) The Internet is extremely slow and sometimes it didn't work: we couldn't connect, a message appeared saying: connected without Internet, that happened several times. I once wanted to print a 2-page document from the hotel computer and it took me 25 minutes while the computer opened my email page and showed me the document to print. 3) The toilet in the bathroom in the room did not have enough power to flush the water so you had to keep pressing the button and do it several times to make sure everything went away. 4)The light in the room was weak

I'm mobility challenged and use a walker - which makes it difficult to also manage a suitcase. I'm was impressed that staff jumped to help me open doors, move the suitcase and even carried it to my room. The room itself was beyond all expectation, a huge one bedroom with walkin shower capacity, very comfortable bed, free wifi, good a/c, etc etc. Excellent value for the money, right off the highway, next to Swiss Chalet, around the corner from Eggsquis, and not far at all from the Boathouse restaurant on the marina. Quiet, very clean... I highly recommend and will happily stay here again the next time I'm in Belleville.

The only SLIGHT issue is that the bed was a bit high (again, someone in a wheelchair might have had trouble transferring up onto the bed and as a short, mobility challenged person, I found it a bit difficult. So many motel/hotel beds are now made with massive mattresses and box springs that are fine for someone 5'9" or taller but a challenge for someone 5.0: with spinal or other mobility challenges. Would also be good to have a disabled parking spot and more accessible 'curb' at the side entrance closest to this wonderful room designed for persons with disabilities - would be much closer than the disabled spot across from the front entrance.

It is not the 1st time I go there, actually second in 2 months :) I love the location et everything you need for a bed & breakfast hotel

The blonde employee at the counter maybe she is the manager I don't know but she needs some education courses to understand how to talk to the clients. In french we call that "bete" I didn't love the way she tried my wife by yelling to her "get out, get out" "go to your room to take your water". My wife made a mistake entering to the lobby from a yellow bands restricted area because of some roof works

The breakfast was great. The brewing machine in the lobby was terrific and handy. The staff super friendly and helpful. Likes the sliding glass doors to the parking area, very handy. ( except the outside door tracks could do with a shot of silicone spray!! They were very hard to open, due to the winter weather I'd assume. )

Even though there were plenty of recepticals for cigarette butts, I was surprised to see as many all over the place on the ground. Now it is early spring like conditions, so melting snow banks may have been revealing a winter's worth of butts. I hope in the summer months that someone is delighted to cleaning them up.

The breakfast was absolutely amazing and the little elder that serves it is so polite and sweet. She was the highlight of my stay. It'll be sad for you guts when she's done in June or July. I forget what month she said.

The one bedding sheet was stained proir to us being there but my girl and I just stripped it off so we didn't have to look at it. Also I would've liked extra towels and toilet paper.

the hotel was clean well organized , breakfasts was good, nice selection , good location, did not need to drive for food or drinks

if i was to complain about anything , and it was no big deal , the carpets in the room looked like they needed a shampoo

Room was clean and bigger than I expected, with a queen size bed, fridge, microwave, tv, and couch. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast was good and substantial, and was prepared by a sweet older lady. Very good deal for the price I paid. I will definitely stay there again. The location is great. There's a bunch of restaurants nearby and a Starbucks that opens at 6am is a 6 minute walk away.

Nothing! Was a really great stay and the price was excellent.

I appreciate that there is coffee available 24hr but it would still be awesome to have a coffee maker in the room. I am one who likes a coffee right after my shower. The coffee maker was far from my room and I wasn’t going to the lobby, located far from my room, half dressed.

Breakfast was good, not much variety, but it was decent.

The room has a common door with the next room, and I can hear very clear the kids talking in the other room. I wish the sound isolation would be better than this.

Food and service was all what could have been expected without any restriction. Rooms were clean and well supplied with necessary items. Great access to room from the parking area. The location in the city was great and convenient.
