Anywhere closer to Toronto Centre would not have been affordable for us for a whole week, and the location was as good as it gets. Though the internal pool had just been closed for renovation when we arrived, the outdoor pool was ample compensation and we had a dip each and every day, whether in sunshine or under a blanket of clouds, the water being mild but not too warm - ideal for swimming and refreshment. Our 3yo enjoyed it, too, with a swimming-belt we had brought along. The staff helped us sort out the payment issue we encountered due to the credit card the first day, while they also stored our delayed baggage that was delivered while we were out sightseeing. We did not order breakfast at the hotel, but the nearby Tim Horton's was a perfect place for meals.

When we arrived, the temperature in the room was down to 18C, which seems to be a North American standard, but it was very cold since the weather was kind of cool and the sky generally overcast. But the A/C works both ways, so we could use it to warm the room to 24C the first day, and would not even switch on the A/C after that. Though there were public transit stops nearby, our trips had to be planned carefully as we could lose 20 to 30 minutes getting to the closest subway station if choosing the wrong bus, buses being few and far between on most suburban routes.

LOVE LOVE (most) of the STAFF!!!! Many thanks to Shymon for fixing my VERY loud squeaky door. And despite the fact that I had the room for 5 days I actually only ended up staying in it for a couple of nights as I went back home during the downtime in my bathroom renovation. MANY thanks to Pranay and Vanessa at the front desk for their support and professionalism!!!! They are indeed an asset to this team and SHOULD be recognized!!!!

Kind of loud in the hallway at times…usually early morning due to the VERY loud house keeping staff…I have my system…turn on the extremely loud bathroom fan…and I bring a little “sleep machine” which adds extra white noise in the morning. Also I have been staying here for almost 25yrs on and off and I actually had the honeymoon suite for a week when I got married on the Sheraton side and I always LOVED the food from room service no matter which side I was staying in…and sadly my favourite French Onion Soup tasted EXACTLY like the Soup of the Day which was Hot and Sour. They must have used the same broth because French Onion Soup is NOT supposed to taste EXACTLY like Hot and Sour Soup (with cheese). And the portions have gotten TINY…. Sad because this used to be a great restaurant

There is no breakfast room in the hotel. We had to use the adjoining hotel (Sheraton). The breakfast menu was extremely expensive. We did not have breakfast at the hotel.

The outside of the building was in great need of repair. There was limited parking. It took sometime for us to find a parking spot. Once we parked the car we noticed 2 metal rods sticking out of the ground which were used to anchor the cement blocks into place. The cement block was missing. We were fortunate that we did not run over this with our car. More care should be taken on the outside of the building. There was obviously a high school tour underway with students staying at the hotel. They ran up and down the halls passed 11:00pm and knocked on our door several times. More should be done to supervise guests.

it’s was clean, good price, up to date, the staff were polite and helpful, all with a positive attitude. the room was spacious, food was easily delivered, and they have amenities to enjoy alongside a starbucks cafe and breakfast.

I think maybe the only thing i didn’t like was there was no ice machine on our floor buh there was one 2 floors down. can’t really complain tho cuz the elevator is very fast. also when we went in the ice machine area there were plates with an apple on it that weren’t removed at least for our whole stay.

Room was big, comfortable and the hotel was good value in a decent location (walking distance to restaurants). Overall, it was a good stay and I'd happily come back - the gym was an added bonus too!

Room got quite stuffy, it would have been nice to open a window (the AC was really noisy). On the first couple of days I went out for most of the day and came back gone 5pm and the room hadn't been made up (I had left the sign on the door to be cleaned). They did come and do it, but was very late in the day.

very cozy feel, beds were comfy, the tv had great channel selection for kids Xmas movies , washroom facilities were nice and updated, hotel was quiet and very friendly, lots to do like swim walk around , little mall to explore inside hotel and even when our pool closed the joining hotel allowed us to swim there

ordered a xtra bed and it didn’t fit inside room , maid didn’t speak English so I had to keep calling desk for things she didn’t restock us on which I didn’t mind but was kinda annoying, key card kept deactivating and had to keep reactivating it at desk, food was ok in hotel but not the best , bacon was dry and hard also hair in our fruit salad

A great stay - the second time I've been to this hotel. Large and comfortable rooms, many facilities including an indoor swimming pool, and the best breakfast I had in North America (albeit with additional price). A great place to rest! The staff were very nice and attentive, and swiftly solved any problem we had. Would come again!

A bit far from Toronto downtown, although the parking is free (unlike other hotels). Absence of a kettle is a nuisance.

very handy restaurant with an eclectic menu without having so many choices that would require a half hour to decide. very flexible and accommodating of dietary needs and allergies. Very comfortable beds. Good towels. Kudos to Anton in the restaurant for his friendly and efficient service!

shower ran all over the floor because curved curtain rod extended beyond the shower pan (accessible roll-in shower with no tub). Would prefer no carpet in the main part of the room but is understandable in a multilevel hotel. Gob of red bubble gum in the closet.

The place is nice....

Actually we didn't Stay at parkway but we move in marriott... it's not hassle though but we have a toddler so transferring of hotels (even just walking) with a baby is not good and to think we came from London Ontario all the way here... but overall is nice.. I will give perfect 10 if without the incident. And at night time we didn't sleep til 2am because there are guest that are fighting... I know it's not the hotel's fault but shame on to that couples...

Jayden and Priyanshi were extremely nice at the front desk. When I mentioned we love Best Western and have been members for years they upgraded us to the Sheraton which is connected to the Best Western.

For the price we paid the breakfast buffet should have been included. I was disappointed the hot tub that was advertised on the website was not within the actual hotel.
