Friendly staff for sure. The light switches are not very user friendly, hard to turn things on and off. We have a Delux suite, yet it doesn't feel delux! The sofa bed, which is one of the beds as described when booking, feels aweful! It seriously need an upgrade, because I paid a lot to make sure we have two beds. Cleanliness also needs work from the lobby, elevators and floors of the room. Bedding also needs some work. May be some hypoallergenic fabric softener that provide some clean scent.......

As mentioned above, what need attentions are cleaning, bedding and light switch. The TV is also dated. Smart TV is a neccessity .

The location worked because of the proximity of where I needed to be. The hot breakfasts were amazing and so were the dining room staff.

When I asked for a restaurant recommendation, I was pointed to the Chinese restaurants across the street. Did you know that there's a restaurant district close by? Yes, about an eight-minute walk away. That information should be available at check-in but my impression was that the desk person wasn't interested in providing complete information. Not a welcoming fellow.

The breakfast had a nice variety and their pancake machine made EXCELLENT pancakes. The ac was super powerful which was great with the temperature in the 30s. The bed was comfortable and clean and we got extra pillows when we asked. The size of the room was great and the shower was amazing. Everything was very clean. This hotel is also close to a GO train station (a few minutes by car) which made going to downtown Toronto pretty easy.

There didn't seem to be ac outside the rooms and lobby so the hallways and elevators got really hot. Also one of the elevators was broken which left a single elevator for everyone trying to get to their rooms. It's a very tall and not very wide/long building so the elevator is a must for almost everyone (10 floors total). The pool was surprisingly small and shallow. Also it had some dirt and a clump of hair or two which wasn't super but also not so bad that we couldn't swim anyway.

The breakfast on both mornings was amazing it exceeded my expectations. There was no need for lunch! I was just expecting a "light" breakfast certainly not the spread that was presented. Well done to all the staff that made that happen. The staff were amazing. We checked in on the day that the ROGERS outage took place. What a fiasco that was. I was having problems with both my debit card and my M/C. They didn't give us the boot. So greatful for that. We paid on checkout which was Sunday and everything was fine and well. Amazing, patient staff.

Front office staffs are friendly. Breakfast is great, as for us we are not a heavy eater in the morning. Warm atmosphere and clean.

The shower, when you showering the water from the shower run out to the floor next to sink floor, due to no tub. We have to add two bath towels on the floor to stop the water.

Many parking spaces Simple breakfast but quality was good Room spacious 24/7 Coffee and tea self service station, good Kettle was provided upon request

Bad smell from the air conditioner which is too dirty to use Furniture should be updated

the room was clean and tidy; spacious and comfortable. the breakfast were great and the complimentary tea and coffee were a bonus.

the area is surrounded by businesses and residences. therefore, there wasn’t much of an outing to do or special places to visit within walking distances. the big stores were miles away; which was an inconvenience if you had no car.

Overall property was clean and well kept. Staff overall were friendly and attentive but a couple of front desk staff could have taken lessons on customer service and being friendly. The breakfast was very decent.

Location was great, Really like the facility, the reception staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful, the guys were approachable and fun to deal with. This is one of the best holiday inn express I have stayed in.

The breakfast was really not my cup of tea, could have been better.

The breakfast was excellent the staff were vary helpful and professional. The hotel was always clean. They offered free coffee all day in the lobby.

I can not think of anything the hotel could change one of the elevators broke but that is not something anyone can stop.
