One King West Hotel and Residence

Very convenient city centre hotel in old Toronto (Financial district). Helpful & professional staff. Busy, vibrant lobby with open plan reception, bar and restaurant. Spacious room with a comfortable bed with a view and a kitchenette.

No breakfast included and no water bottle(s) provided in the rooms.

Where shall I start... If I could, I would give rate it as 15, 20. It's 10+ for me. I had a wonderful stay at One King West Hotel. I had wonderful views, I woke up to the view of CN Tower, had breakfast looking at the CN Tower and also the Ontario Lake. Room was very spacious, staff was friendly, location of the hotel is perfect!! I can't describe exactly how I felt during my 5 days at this hotel with words. I truly had a great time! Thank you! If I come back to Toronto and I think I will, I would like to stay in the same room, please :) I felt home at this hotel!

Great executive apartments for business travellers and the first night I stayed in a suite definitely geared for couples, it was very comfortable. I unexpectedly stayed 5 days longer and they were able to move me into a suite with laundry which was super helpful and the dry cleaners nearby appeared closed (covid).

My flight was delayed and when I arrived past midnight I was told my room was given away. It was a shock after stressful travel there. I moved rooms 3 times as a 2 day trip ended up being 7. The manager was super helpful however the policies are a bit of a let down. I asked for late check out (2pm) and was told it would be an extra $100. With all the room moves and having to check out before 12:30, I lost a lot of business hours. I was at a conference and had to leave by noon to rush back to check out.

Style, ambiance, size of suite, location

No paper towels, dated washrooms, sub par TV channels, overpriced after all costs factored in…

Helpful staff. Functional kitchenette and other appliances (e.g alarm clock with a bluetooth speaker, iron, etc.). Dishwacher turned out to be quite handy. Good regular cleaning. Handy outlets. Powerful central heating. Decently sized TV. It is possible to connect your laptop to the TV if you have an HDMI cable. Far-reaching city view (especially if you stay at a higher floor). Good quality shampoo, shower gel, etc. (nice fragrance) Cozy, clean, and decently equipped gym, Jacuzzi, and sauna. Room photos were taken while moving out. The city photo with a green arrow is the ony one that is not mine; it just locates the hotel at the Toronto city skyline.

Duvet cover was just two separate sheets. The duvet itself was originally quite dirty. Luckily, room service was able to replace it with a clean one when asked. Certain handy "evaryday" things were not included, like cleaning cloth, toilet cleaner, etc. (those are relatively cheap and are often included in other apartment hotels). The coffee had too much rapeseed oil in its composition. A minor first impression:D

Superbly clean facility. Beautiful view. Brilliant location in middle of downtown, right next to King station. Remarkably comfortable and large bed for 2. Powerful warm showers (very hot in the mornings). Excellent coffee shop (daily ritual) attached next door...perfect Lattes. Gym, spa and sauna were a wonderful addition and high-end. Staff were helpful, AND they make an sour apple martini at the bar!!!! We would Definitely return.

I could hear the sounds from the suite next door to ours, they had their kitchenette near the front of their room hence i suspect why. Fortunately the occupant was not very loud, but this could have been very annoying.

Great location. We had a room on the 41st floor with a spectacular view. We didn't want to leave! The location is excellent. Close to shopping, transit and train station. The area is safe, clean and extremely walkable.

The location is great for tourism, its a very busy location though. Room views are wonderful especially on the high floors. There are a lot of wonderful staff at this hotel too. Special mention of Chloe, really hospitable check in experience. Each room/suite has a kitchenette, which is a requirement for us. The larger rooms are often occupied so its worthwhile booking them as early as possible.

The hotel is clean, small minor cleaning improvements could be done. To be honest, the place is very accommodating. If I asked for kitchen utensils etc, I would receive them in a timely manner so really not much to complain about.

everything was ok and comfortable. no issue no surprises. peaceful hotel.

there was nothing wrong with property. the only thing that i could say I dont quite like is the room was darker than expected, a little bit depressive. lights was not enough, but not a big issue for short stays. and second thing is there is no breakfast area at hotel there is only a cafe that you can have your breakfast (not as a facility inside the hotel). so do not expect a proper breakfast area inside the hotel (it was not a problem for me)

Very good location with a Metro station just outside and also linked by the PATH network. Also easy walking distance to many restaurants and cafes and the shore of Lake Ontario with its ferry terminal and water taxis to the Toronto Islands. The hotel used to be a bank and has interesting features such as the bank safe room and the public rooms are very grand. The building itself is beautiful.

The bathroom to our junior suite room was quite dated and didn’t have a luxury feel. Towels supplied were very thin and seemed old. The curtains don’t keep out early morning light as they don’t meet properly. Minor niggles were tea bags and glasses not replenished without asking and problems with the TV not working
