Old Mill Toronto Hotel

Charming and beautiful hotel with a great location. Even though it is a little further from downtown, it was really easy to get the subway in from the green and yellow lines, and easy to get to and from the airport. The area is quiet, but the hotel is round the corner to the subway and bus station, and you can walk or take the subway along the green line along Bloor St West to restaurants (Jane, Runnymede, High Park or Ossington stations). Our room was spacious and comfortable, and included everything you would need in a hotel room (coffee machine, hairdryer, toiletries etc). We slept well and would definitely be back if we visited Toronto again. Highly recommended!

It was a shame that the bar was only open from 5pm-9pm, as we were still out in the city during this time. The only dining options were room service which we didn't opt for.

Away from busy center yet very close to subway station, 30 min to the center. Located in quiet green area with beautiful walking trails along the Humber river.  The hotel building is located on the cite of historic Old Mill with the same style. Big and quiet room with classic design. Comfortable bed. Good housekeeping. Environmentally friendly. The front desk staff are all good in terms of being helpful, welcoming and polite.  But one of them, Joe, was very friendly and always ready to help as you expect from such a hotel. Thank you Joe for making our stay more comfortable. The hotel has only one restaurant/bar but with exceptionally good and professional bartenders, Astrit and Giacomo. Many special thanks to Astrit for making our stay more pleasant and enjoyable.

The hotel is in a great location, although quite a way from Downtown Toronto. There is a subway/metro station about 500 metres away and a short pleasant walk. Frank at the station extremely helpful with the ticket buying. We were in a garden view room, but it was quite overgrown and restricted view, but quiet. Basil on the front desk was also extremely helpful... nothing "Fawlty" about this Basil, forgive the pun. One of the lifts was out of action and wait times for the one remaining were sometimes quite long due to wedding parties on the floors above. The room was superb and well laid out, everything you need including a jacuzzi. There is a restaurant right next to the Old Mill and has the same name but they are apparantly not the same company, that's what we were told, it could not be put on our bill anyway. Overall a superb locatrion and hotel, would stay there again without hesitation.

Only one lift, wait times were sometimes quite long... over 5 minutes. Athough we were told the restaurant was nothing to do with the hotel, the service there was very slow waited 25 minutes to be served and well on our second glass of free water by the time we were attended. Said something about confusion?

It was confusing at first because when you get off the highway you think it's right there but actually the Hotel is the last building on the right. Then we parked out front and checked-in and had to park in the parking garage across the street,we ended up really liking it, but it was nice having your car in a secure place. Also had to make 2 trips to the car, wasn't thrilled about at the time, especially after an eight hour drive to get there. Still gave a great rating because they had a bottle of wine waiting because it was my wife's 50th Birthday that was their own label and was pretty good and was a nice touch. After checking out our room we found it was really nice, bed was comfortable, view from the 5th floor was really nice, and it had a fireplace that was electric but gave the room some ambiance. Then there was the jacuzzi tub in a nice bathroom area that was nice and clean with great water pressure in both shower and jacuzzi tub. Staff was really friendly and helpful and was pretty quiet on a Sunday night and Monday night adding to our stay(seemed like the elevator was always available) looks like it is a mainly a wedding venue, was perfect for that!! A bit on the pricier side but we had a great time and would definitely stay there again if we go back to Toronto.

Restaurant only did room service and was expensive, we had food delivered twice, and the restaurant next door was opened only Thursday-Sunday.

The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. Place was clean and the bar staff was excellent. Great location for what I needed. Very elegant decor and low lighting made it cozy. Great architecture inside and out. Gentlemen playing guitar in the garden was a classy touch.

Better coffee accommodations in rooms. Need bigger coffee machines. Espresso didn’t cut it although still tasty

I was there for Queens IRC program, the conference rooms were excellent, meals served during the meetings were delicious, all staff members were fantasitic and made you feel at home.

My only complaint was my registration for Queens was late, and I wasn't able to get the discount room price, if I wasn't able to find a more economical price on Trivago I would have been forced to stay somewhere else.

Wow, what an interesting place to stay! Luxurious and comfortable rooms....oh the bed was lovely!! Walking distance to the subway.

I couldn't work the coffee machine! And the only other way to get coffee was to order room service, which was an expensive way to drink coffee every morning. (no coffee shops close by)

Good location, beautiful room, clean and comfortable. staff are polite and helpful. Easy access to Humber River trail walk.

Parking is across the street. not convenient. Continental Breakfast is included but only room service is available, not an option to go down to the restaurant. Breakfast only provides drinks and pastry, no fruits and cereal as should be included in continental breakfast.

We loved the bathtub and the overall space the hotel room had. The bed was very comfy and our room was overall very spacious. The TV had this mechanism to pull it out of the stand to face the bed. We don't often go to hotels but we would recommend this one to others absolutely.

The price was a little steep, but in comparison to some other hotels in Toronto, it wasn't so bad. For the amenities, wifi/parking/bathtub/TV/etc it was an easy choice. Hotels overall nowadays have become less affordable, but we enjoyed our stay nonetheless.

The hotel itself exuded old world charm and was extremely clean. The staff was cheerful and helpful as we were there with an extended group for a wedding. The breakfast buffet was wonderful.

We had requested stools to be brought up to the bridal room for the makeup artists and they did not arrive. We were too busy to follow up. At the buffet, the staff would not split the bill for the groups of guests to pay separately, which became time consuming and frustrating
