The hotel is ideally located in a downtown area right between everywhere you want to go—a few blocks from Mount Royal's hiking path and within walking distance of many restaurants, bars, and shopping. We loved the automated toilet seat with all the bells and whistles (so to speak).

The only thing I didn't love was that the cool bar across from the lobby was (so) fashionable that it was hard to just walk downstairs for a drink unless it was off prime time. A nice restaurant up the street suited well for pre-cocktails, but the hotel bar is very chic, and I never planned with a reservation.

The staff hospitality and service was excellent and exceeded my expectations. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel is in an excellent location with easy access to unlimited shopping and food and a quick taxi ride to old Montreal. The bar and restaurant were beautiful and located in the beautiful historic building that stands in front of the actual hotel.

Windows in the rooms are a little odd. Instead of one or 2 large windows there is like a collage of small windows which make it hard to see out. The lighting in room is pretty advanced but I didn't care for how cool blue the light was.. not a warm cozy light. Guessing 5000k range in color which some people might really like. I found it odd that there was no toilet paper in either of our 2 rooms. The hotel quickly delivered the tp on request.. excellent service... Finally housekeeping did not refresh coffee pods or tea bags which was a bit annoying to me.. especially given the cost to stay here.

One of the best rooms i ever stayed at. They have the most comfortable beds in the world!!!!! The bathroom was also modern and spacious! And located at the city center! This is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AND VERY WORTH IT! Staff was very nice and friendly! Will definitely go back !

Well i was traveling with 2 giant luggages. it was a challenge to bring it up the flight of stairs to enter the hotel vicinity. But it was nothing as the comfort level of this hotel is bar none! :) PS: hoping you can have more double queen bed rooms as it was very difficult to book.

The main building of the hotel -- the original grand home -- is spectacular in its beauty. (The actual hotel rooms are in a building directly behind the original mansion, and are modern rooms.) The staff was just amazing in its friendliness and helpfulness. We truly felt as if we had friends at the hotel as they were just so welcoming and accommodating -- and fun!

Two things I would give a negative ranking. First, the TV channel offerings are very limited, which seems strangely "old technology" in a hotel of this caliber. Ironically, my other criticism is that there is too much technology in the room. Trying to figure out the electronic panel that controls all the different lights and the curtains was a waste of time, when simple light switches would have sufficed. Similarly, the auto-toilet/bidet was over the top and just seemed silly.

THIS HOTEL IS A REMAKABLE BLENDING OF TH OLD AND THE MODERN. THE LOBBY SYAIRS , BAR, RESTAURANT ALL HAVE BEAUTIFUL WOOD WALLS AND HIGH CELIINGS, WHEN YOU GET TO THE HOTEL PART IT IS ULTA MODERN, BUT EVRYTHING IS VERU COMFORTABLE. THE ROOM IS NOT HUGH BUT THE BEDS WERE GREAT, WAS AN ALL ELECTRIC ROOM, HEATED FLOOS IN BATHROON, HUGHE SHOWER AND MORE.... RECOMMENDED

Room service is very exceptional. Rooms are quiet. Cleanliness is exceptional. Doorman always there to help from my transport with an umbrella as needed.

Value for money is marginal - depends on time of year. If demand is high in the City prices increase for the same room. Reception does not seem to keep customer history which is annoying when checking in.

the restaurant and bar are fantastic both in the way they look and in the high quality of the food they serve. the goons are very comfortable and equipped with the latest of everything. staff is friendly and very helpful

loved everything . the modern part of the hotel has a decor that is not my style and clashes with the beauty of the old area but it is very very comfortable and high quality

The staff were exceptional. Every single person who works there was delightful.

Everything is electric, so when the power went out (likely due to construction down the street), we couldn’t flush the toilet or open the blinds for light. It’s not the hotel’s fault the power went out, it was just inconvenient for a short period.

Really loved the bathroom. Shower was luxurious. The room was well appointed and very quiet. We loved that we did not hear any noise from the hall or others rooms!

There was nothing we did not like. 😊
