Maison Des Jardins was simply spectacular. The stay was super comfortable and the hosts were very hospitable. The breakfast they served each day was delicious. Very well located and super close to the metro. The room was very clean and was cleaned each day. The room had all the necessary amenities and also had books and maps capturing the details of all touristy places. There was separate door access for rooms located at the lower level. This was very useful as we returned back late without disturbing other guests. We will definitely be staying here when we visit again and will pass on the recommendation to all our friends. Special shoutout to Guimauve- the most adorable dog we have ever met😍

Everything was perfect! The room was clean and the guesthouse is very nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable and the neighborhood quiet but a short walk to a lively pedestrian street. Staff are incredibly friendly and gave us some great recommendations for our stay in Montreal, and every morning we had an excellent cooked breakfast. The place is also in a great location close to the metro stop and was perfect for exploring the city. I'd definitely stay here next time I visit Montreal!

Nothing - everything was great!

Beautiful and well maintained property in a calm neighborhood. Friendly and helpful staff and excellent breakfast; gluten-free and dairy free catered for. Small garden available for guests to use. Lovely friendly welcome from Guimauve, the shaggy house dog. We would love to come back here if visiting Montreal again, and would certainly recommend Maison des Jardins without hesitation !

We would normally prefer an en suite toilet/bathroom but the bathroom in the corridor seemed to be uniquely for our use and was perfectly acceptable.

The hosts were extremely pleasant, helpful, and welcoming. Apart from it being in a good location (quiet but close to things), being very clean, and serving a varied and lovingy made breakfast, the attention to fine detail is what really won me over. Linen table cloths. A lovely outside space with a little fish pond and a hot tub. A fresh razor left out in the en suite, just in case! The decor. It really is a gem of page to stay, so treat yourself to something nice next time you're in Montreal.

This is the only place you should be staying when visiting Montreal! Robert (the owner) was so wonderful and kind. As we visited the Bed & Breakfast during a quieter season, he upgraded us to a bigger room! The property is charming and very centrally located yet on a quiet street. We walked everywhere and had no problems finding free street parking within 1 block of the property. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we slept so well. The outdoor hot tub was so fun! Janner was lovely, he gave us great recommendations of things to go and made us a delicious breakfast every morning (including great gluten free options!). We will absolutely be staying here on our next visit to Montreal!!!

Nice area ‘The Village’, with plenty of parking available in the surrounding streets. Our hosts Robert and Yener were fantastic. Full of good advice about attractions, getting around and very helpful when my car had to be moved for an hour on Wednesday to clean the streets! Yener cooks a very mean breakfast, so you certainly won’t go hungry. Talking of food, there’s a massive selection of restaurants in ‘The Village’, and the Metro is less than 10 mins walk away.

Nothing, it ticked all the boxes.

Fabulous stay. Room was spacious and comfortable, they had added extra touches eg shaving foam/razor. A book with local information, maps, recommendations. Breakfasts were lovely, something different freshly cooked each day plus fresh fruit, cereal and croissants daily. Coffee was good, lots of tea varieties too. I would recommend staying here. Bonus was garden with hot tub too and a gorgeous friendly dog.

That we weren't staying longer!!

This 3 story home is owned & operated by a veteran of the stage, and it shows at each turn. It is curated in every detail, and as a whole, is a standing ovation. Imagine a coffee table book of the Best B&Bs; or a film, set entirely in a B&B meant to epitomize the best of the genre: unctuous splendor and attention to detail; comfortable elegance; delightful, delicious and artfully presented breakfast; shared with the kind of travelers you hope to meet; and staffed by a charming, handsome, and multilingual prince, trained in service to Their Royal Majesties, The Kings and Queens of The Village and the globe. Family photos, including adorable looking fur kids (away on vacation during my stay) add a personal and casual touch that lets you know this is a real home, not a facsimile.

Hosts were fantastic. Super friendly and made lots of great suggestions. The breakfast was also amazing! Highlight of the stay was having a great and healthy meal to look forward to every morning, and the cooks were great people as well. The room was clean and comfortable with all the essentials and more. The bathroom was also clean. Properly is very close to public transportation so it is very easy to get around.

Nothing!

This place is amazing! I live in Montreal but they're doing urgent repairs in my condo so I needed a place nearby in a hurry. I called to see if I could check in early because I start online work at 1pm, they said no problem. The room was clean, maybe some little repairs to do in the kitchen area, but otherwise the place was perfect! Sink, microwave and fridge in the room. Lots of pillows of different firmness on the bed. Bed was very comfy. Check out isn't until noon which is 2 hours later than most places. The best part? The breakfast. They really undersell how good it is! It's not your basic cereal and pastries like most hotels, you basically get a personal chef. He accommodated my very specific dietary restrictions and served me at my table. Vegan omelettes and crepes, fresh fruit, homemade spreads... some of the best breakfast I've ever had! Better than a resto for sure. And there's a full kitchen upstairs with kettle, espresso machine, etc Very sweet and kind owners in general. They were present but not invasive (I'm an introvert who likes alone time) so that was the perfect balance. And they have a hot tub that's useable all year! Great way to melt the work day away :) There's also a big backyard that would be beautiful in warmer months. The decor was the classic corny BnB style but my parents owned a BnB and people actually ask for that decor! Plus, who cares what the decor is unless you're stunting for the gram haha! The bathroom in my room looked modern and new. I was the only guest there at the time and the front entrance was right by my room for easy in and out. One thing to note, there's 2 large dogs there. They're the calmest, completely silent dogs I've ever met but if you're afraid/allergic to dogs, it's good to know All in all, very happy I chose this place!

Nothing. Some little repairs could be made behind the cupboards in the kitchen area but I didn't use that space at all so it didn't matter to me.
