Chateau Vaudreuil

Rooms were nice and clean, beds were big and comfy. Adequate water pressure in the shower. Coffee machine and fridge was an added bonus. Hotel was decorated for the holidays and the walk around the grounds by the lake was very pleasant.

Television could have had a few better channels, the phone was not working in our room, no cord or dial tone. Had to get informed about late check out the day OF which defeats the purpose when you are wondering if you can sleep in a little longer or not. And the big shock was when we realized that they charge 200$ A NIGHT for the deposit hold, which most hotels only hold 200$ or 250$ for your stay. So basically if you are there for 5 nights then that's 1000$ on hold which is way too much and totally ridiculous. PS: We just read your reply and i'm sorry but there's nowhere written in the confirmation email that you hold 200$ a night. I went over it a few times and saw absolutely nothing written anywhere.

Château-Vaudreuil is an excellent place to stay! The hotel is perfectly designed and comfortably packed with every single need. It was our first time traveling to Canada, and the Château was a pleasing discovery in the trip. The staff are incredibly helpful, tolerant and accommodating to your needs. All our questions were answered with kindness and sometimes were even followed up on after sometime. Of course, the food in a hotel is as important as its stay. However, even here the Château doesn't fail to impress. Incredibly exquisite and appealing, it kept us asking for more! If we ever do travel back to Canada, I know that staying at the Chateau again will be in our plans.

The setting in wonderful grounds, isolation from the urban sounds > a well designed hotel. Whilst a bit distant (40 minute drive) from downtown Montreal, proved ideal for access the airport (YUL) merely 20 minutes at 7.30 am. Front desk staff were extraordinary helpful and understanding, a geriatrics challenge to print flight boarding passes. We'd have no second thoughts staying here again.

Would have liked a second option coffee bar and light snack option. To include an ice cream perhaps.

The décor and ambiance of Chateau Vaudreuil is hard to match. Very beautiful location. Great staff. We appreciated the pool and the walk by the lake. We enjoyed the free kayaking with the family. There are many amenities in nearby Vaudreuil if you want to remain in the area.

Beds are a bit on the soft side and the sofa bed was not great. I think the springs in the sofa bed needed a change. Although the ambiance is great, there is a bit of old façade to the hotel from outside.

The property is beautifully decorated with exquisite decor and attention to detail. Very comfortable and clean rooms. The grounds are very well kept and a beautiful walk along the river. The front desk staff during the day were very accommodating to hold our bags after check out and before we were ready to leave. Had a great conversation with their maître d, very personable!

Unfortunately the restaurant wasn’t wasn’t open during our stay on a Thursday evening. The location, while beautiful and on the lake, is not very convenient unless you have a vehicle. The evening staff for check in was not very helpful or personable at all which was a rough start to our stay, but the day staff made up for it the next day!

The gentleman who worked the front I believe his name was Sandron. He was absolutely amazing! Always there to offer help and offer water or hold the doors. He made my daughter feel special and offered her cute little chocolate hearts. He was so kind and welcoming. The hotel was beautiful and clean and great service!

Everything was perfect. Restaurant was expensive and okay food but we only tried 2 items on the menu. I would love to have the option of a quick breakfast when we are on the go as well as the option of sit down.

as I am interior designer I would say this property is beautifully designed inside and outside! amazing location! designers did a great job!

the only thing that I was disappointed with is the room accommodation. I booked a room with the lake view for our anniversary celebration, but at reception we got the room with a parking lot view. Once I talked to reception guy and explained him a few times that there was an error given us the wrong room, he tried to work on saying that hotel doesn’t have a lake view rooms, which is the wrong information and none professional at all. In the end of long conversation he gave me a key of other room with a lake view, but he did it a bit in a rude manner. I did not even receive any apologies from the reception guy, but I think he should be able to. Thank you

Stayed in a suite as a family of four, room was spacious and very clean, beds were comfy and the room was very quiet even though the hotel is situated just off the motorway. Situated on a lake, the grounds are beautiful and very well maintained, there are kayaks available and tennis courts. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was excellent with excellent service.

Being a fan of fresh air I don't like not being able to open the windows in hotel rooms but this is pretty minor.

Leisure Family trip. We mostly enjoyed the pool, the basketball court and the beautiful scenery. It is a very fancy hotel; makes you feel like royalty! The breakfast buffet was a little on the higher end, especially when travelling with a big family. 30$ per adult and 15$ per child. They had quite a variety of options though. Fruits. Waffle maker. Patisseries. Eggs. Bacon...the list goes on. We were very satisfied. The waitresses at the restaurant and the hotel staff are so pleasant, helpful and kind.

When booking, You have to keep in mind that this hotel hosts many events. For instance, during our stay, there were 3 or 4 weddings booked. So the lobby was very crowded and the parking lot was full. It made us feel uncomfortable to walk around in our bathing suits while everyone else was in their nice weddings clothes. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay!

The grounds are lush, beautiful and well maintained. Staff are polite and efficient. Rooms are large and immaculately clean with super comfortable beds. The food is excellent, if somewhat expensive. The dining room has a tranquil views of the lake and water fowl.

The decor is somewhat gaudy for my taste. We cam for a wedding and probably wouldn't have stayed here otherwise. But it is a great venue for weddings.
